Brookdale is very welcoming. Everyone here at the community is cheerful and very helpful. I really enjoy doing bi-fit.

Brookdale is pretty good. She misses her home. Has made a few friends. Associates are all very nice.

Our family had an in person tour with Serento Rosa and it is a very nice-looking facility, but very different from the community we ended up choosing for our loved one. This community felt much more like a nursing home atmosphere..no one seemed happy there. However we seriously considered this facility. It is newer and the unit available was set up more like an individual apartment but I decided my mother would just stay in her room and not socialize there.

Our family had an in-person tour and we thought the tour experience was very nice and professional, however, the building was older with less space and natural light then what we were looking for.

They are often short staffed in the dining room. There is a delay with getting meals delivered on time. The food average. They seem to have a lot of activites that they offer but I have not participated in them yet. The people are nice.

Good, but every time I go to the dining room I either wait a long time or don't get waited on.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked what we had saw on the assisted living side but the rooms on the memory care side were just not as big as what we would want for our loved one if or when they would have to be on the memory care side

They seem to have a great staff who are happy working there, which I think is really rare these days. They have a lot consistency within their staff; their caregivers seem to genuinely care about the residents. My dad is in memory care, and it's its own thing. I love that they have memory care attached to the assisted living and that they also bring over the memory care residents to enjoy some of the activities that they have in assisted living.

Serento Rosa was great. They did a really great job. They were very informative and very helpful. They room wasn't quite ready to our standard on move-in day, but they handled the requests we made promptly.

So far very good. Their is always room for improvement.

We've had a very positive experience with Brookdale Oceanside. It's not too too big, so it's not really crowded. The staff per client ratio is pretty reasonable. They have some good methods they use for medication administration. Instead of giving everything all at once in the morning, they spread it out throughout the day, which allows for more one-one-one attention and ability to check in with the client. My mom loves the food, and when I've tried it, it has been good. They're still coming out of Covid, so they're not doing bus outings and are a little short on activities, although I know that's not their fault. They have plans to do more outside activities in the near future. We looked at a lot of different places, and I think Brookdale Oceanside is a good value. I feel good knowing they're a respected company with locations all over the US and good ratings.

It was a little rough in the beginning, but now that I've found out how things work, it's been much better. I could have used a little more information in the beginning. My apartment is smaller than what they showed me originally, and it's okay overall. We're in the cottage style living, so it's a little harder to get to he main building where the activities are. But if you're in the main building, that is probably much better. The same goes for the food - it can be far to get to it from the cottages. Some of the food has been good, and some of it not so much.

Our community is excellent. Dining is good, & food is also good. Staff is nice.

This was a good community. I didn't care for the location as it was on a busy street.

staff is wonderful!! takes a bit of time for repairs to be made, but they get made!

I was ready to move into this community myself. I check into a lot of communities and I don't know of any others that would be any better. The staff always answers all of my issues and I never have any issues with this community. The only downside is that if there is any thing maintenance that it can take some time to be completed.

It's a very nice, lovely place, and well kept. It seems to be well staffed. There are many activities to do. I just wish there was a little more communication from the staff. I'm not sure who to speak to about particular questions I have, and I just need a little more feedback and communication from them.

The community is beautiful, well presented, it is all memory care and all on one floor. There are beautiful gardens, a patio and outdoor space. It is always kept clean and the staff members are wonderful, but just like most other places the staffing is an issue. The basic care needs and communication sometimes is lacking.
