The only downside about Oak Hill is that it doesn't offer a large range of activities. It is clean, bright, and the staff is great. I even met with the owner on my tour, and he was very cooperative. He gave me a lot of information, and told me about the Assisted Living Waiver Program as well. This will definitely help out financially, and is one of the reasons why I am considering moving my grandmother here.

Wonderful Community. Nothing in life is perfect, there are things that could be a little better. The things that matter are very well taken care of. I have had many experiences at many communites. This is the best by far.

Although Mom has been with the residential center only a week or so, she seems to be adjusting well to the facilities. Caretakers are very nice. Food is excellent.

My loved one is in the Memory Care Unit. She is so very happy there! She spends her days in the large central area. Just sitting in there, with many other residents, and all the activity of the staff going on, she is entertained. It is also a relief to have her in a locked area, as she kept trying to escape her previous assisted living accommodations. She now feels safe, and taken care of, and doesn't seem to know that she's locked in. Her care there is not perfect -- her hygiene isn't what I'd prefer, but then she is very stubborn and it's hard to get her to do anything she doesn't want, and she doesn't like other's help; and some mixing of residents laundry results in missing items of my Mom's, while other resident's items are in her drawers. But the staff is very friendly and do a great job, imo, in a very difficult situation. They are very responsive to any concerns that I raise.

I liked that fact that it looks more like a home rather than an institution. It looks more like a family lives here so it provides a home like feeling. The grounds are very beautiful with plenty of room to walk around; the home is located on about 3 acres of land. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

My mother needed Assisted Living and my Dad needed Memory Care. Emeritus has been very accomodating to their needs. They made the transition easy by providing movers. My parents ar ehappy now and I feel more secure that their needs are being cared for. Karen is an excellent Director and was so helpful in many ways. I would highly recommnd Emeritus.

Beautiful grounds. The place felt very home-like. The rooms were well appointed. Definitely a contender.

Although my Dad was only there for 5 short days before he passed, overall His care from the staff in addition to Hospice was Wonderful. One definite disappointment was that the staff that helped to get him moved in so quickly due to his rapid decline, NEVER reached out to my Mom or Our family to offer condolences for his loss- NO phone call or sympathy card, NOTHING. Whether my Dad was there for 5 days or 5 years, a loss is a loss. For this reason, although most of this experience was great in sooo many ways, we may not refer them to anyone for this reason. [Names Removed] were exceptionally helpful with the tour, answering questions and completing the process for my Mom's move-in. We look forward to visiting my mom at her new residence.

I've noticed that my mom's bathroom isn't as clean as I would like. My mom's clothes are always dirty and yes it's Assisted Living, but my mom has dementia and doesn't remember to wash her clothes. So her clothes never get washed. I've mentioned it to them before and asked that someone keep an eye on her and make sure that some of her clothes get washed. I pick her up for doctor appointments and her clothes are still dirty. The staff is friendly, they provide nice meals, there's always some organized event going on, everybody seems to be happy. There are just a few incidents that I experienced when I wasn't completely pleased, but overall, I like Bayshire Assisted Living for my mom. I had to move my husband to a board and care facility because he needed more specialized attention. But my mom seems to be happy there. I would not eat that food, but everybody else seems to be happy with it. It's bland and seems to be canned or generic food. I'm a freak about Health and Nutrition so I wouldn't touch the stuff, but I guess the elderly people don't care as much. They seem to be fine with it. The apartment sizes are fine, and I was pleased with those.

Pleased with Bayshire. Management is awesome. Staff is attentive. He enjoys most of food. We chose a 1 bedroom and it's spacious.

The daytime caregivers are very caring and attentive. We had some concerns about evenings and nights after my mom experienced a few falls while trying to transfer from her wheelchair to bed. The team worked with us and hospice to address the issue, and the solution they put in place seems to be working well. I'm happy to see the improvement and feel reassured moving forward.

The staff is very friendly and caring. I've had a little issue with the showering schedule, it's a bit inconsistent. One time it's 5:30pm or 8:00pm. You don't know when. Every thing else is pretty good.

I think the place is great potential My Granddaughter did her CNA training there. She was bothered by the care of the patients get. I was also a patient there and sometimes when I take a half hour to an hour and a half to have someone answer your call light.,

To be clear, the skilled nursing side was a 1 and Bldg A is a 5. Skilled nursing was a mess. Skilled nursing side was understaffed and the nurses were slow and distracted. Bldg A is very solid. Attentive staff, good food, clean.

4 out of 5 stars at least. People there are very caring and the facility is top notch. Due to a few care employee's leaving, the response times are sometimes 20 minutes to a half an hour. That isn't the norm. As they get folks hired and trained we know it will go back the way it was. Food is from good to poor depending on the menu. Over all my parents are adjusting after a few months of tough transition. We would still recommend Brookdale Riverwalk over any of the other 3 we toured. Thank you!

I have been working with [name removed]resolving a few things regarding my father. After a few hiccups, due to the change in management over the memory care unit, everything is moving smoothly. I personally am a very nice person, until I'm not, and we quickly smoothed out the hiccups getting to the correct manager.

The facility is run pretty well. The staff are friendly. Lots of activities.

Riverwalk was what my daughter-in-law needed for a temporary residence & help. The staff was very nice and her apartment was clean and quite liveable. The dining room service was not good although the staff was nice in general. It took a long to to order and a long time to get the food. Most of the residents I spoke with said they were not happy with the dining service. Other than that fixable issue I was appreciative of the time she was there.

Staff really friendly. Need more activities in memory care unit. Everything is all good.
