I didn't like this place at first, but i'm liking it now. It just took some time to transition from my lifestyle. The inside of the facility is very clean. The cleanliness is excellent. Everyone there is nice. The care services are excellent. The level of care is great. The activities are pretty good. Overall, It has been a pretty good experience so far. It just takes some time to transition. I can't rate the value because it's not applicable.

The place clean. The food very good. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The staff met all my husbands needs. Overall, we are happy with the services at Brookdale Yorba Linda. My husband is happy.

It going good my dad likes their were some hiccups with med dispensing and communicated this with the admin and they corrected the issue. The food is good and my dad has met alot of people and overall I have piece of mind that he is being taken care of very well. The staff is nice and the community is clean. I would definately recommend Brookdale Yorba Linda

The staff and facility is great would recommend them. The worst is the doctor's very hard to get a hold of, not available and no communication they are the worst.

Home setting, very warm and friendly, everyone greets you and helps you with what ever your need is. I do feel that they evaluate the condition of your loved one a little higher than they really are to put them in a higher level of care, which each level of care had a higher price. I will be talking to them about this, and so I don't know how to give them a good review over this matter. Other than that I give them a great rating.. they are very caring and give each elderly person as much time as they can.. They have been sold to Brookdale, so it will be nice to see if any changes are made good or bad in the next few months.

The biggest thing is it's location; it's very close to my house. It's easy to find the right people to talk to there; they aren't hard to find. Communication is really good with the staff. It seems to be run very well. The people who run it are very caring people. It's going well. Since she is a recluse, she doesn't like to do activities, but they have alot going on; such as music, bible studies, story telling. Activities are going on constantly. They encourage her, and she's gone to some, which is very good, since she doesn't like to participate. We're really happy so far.

We moved our Mother into Emeritus of Rancho Mirage on a weekend. The staff was friendly, and helpful as needed. Mom didn't physically move in until Monday. While the office staff was aware that she was in, apparently the cleaning crew was never notified. It wasn't until I complained on Wednesday that these services began. Also, we were told that an "ambassador" would try to make her feel welcome and invite her to join in. So far, no one has stopped by, and she has been hesitant to go to the group activities. The meals have been good, and her room is attractive and cozy. I would have to say that our experience has been mixed, but generally on the up side.

We are really happy with them. It's a beautiful clean community. The food is five, the food is excellent, yummy. I think it would be fantastic, if they could find a way for the overall cost, not the care, but the rent food and utilities to be a little less expensive. Other than that they are doing great! They had all the concrete answers about how medicare worked and moving from another state, and just how everything works. They were very knowledgeable.

Enjoyed meeting with the staff, seeing the property/facility. We like that it is in our mother's neighborhood. Appreciate that it accepts MediCal.

They are quick to respond. The food is absolutely out of the ballpark good. The activities are good for most of the residents. They've had a change over in staff, and they did hire a clinical director, the main nursing person was a new hire and now it's the clinical director. The communication could use some improvement. To know who to report to, once we were done with the initial marketing person, we just didn't know who to go to for information and things. When we first walked in the dining room we liked the way it was laid out, it was really friendly.

We were contemplating maybe having my mother going down there to that are and we did like The Manse. It was just nice. They seemed to be caring people and it was a nice place and it wasn't too expensive. They were willing to work with us.

We went through the wrong door and went through the higher care side. We ended up ruling that out because it has the skilled nursing care. My aunt just isn't comfortable being around that level of care. She had to go into skilled nursing once and she doesn't want to be reminded of that. If we went through the front door we probably wouldn't have seen all the medical stuff and it might have been better.

My husband is there and I think it's a good value. The care can be improved. I feel that there are not enough caretakers for the number of people. I don't know how many residents per caretaker but that's something that I have to look into. I believe they're in the process of hiring. They do have a very nice activities for residents. After breakfast until lunch they'll either have a song session or a question and answer session or something else to stimulate their minds. That's usually for about 3 hours and sometimes they fall asleep, others are interested but they ask them to remain there. After lunch they have movies. Other days they'll have a Church service, sometimes they'll have an exercise program. Last week they had a salute to the veterans and a lovely barbeque after that. They have lovely grounds. There's a vegetable garden and a little putting green - a very lovely area where you can walk with your family. Also, my husband is diabetic and they are able to do insulin injections.

If my mom would get out of her room she might go to the activities. I think they're pretty good. There are things available, but not a lot. They allow pets and so I've told them several times that my mom's hallways smells like dog urine. She lives on the 3rd floor so maybe they just can't make it to the yard, I don't know. I would say no pets on the 3rd floor if I was them. I think they've tried to take care of it but carpet, if you don't replace it, is going to smell. My mother loves the food. I think the service in the dining room could be a little bit friendlier.

I just went and looked at it. She never lived there so I don't have that much experience. They seemed friendly and everything seemed nice but that's always the case in the beginning.

It's good. It's an upscale community. The home was very good and my wife had good care in there. The nurses were good but I still had to have people brought in because she needs 24 hour care.

Very nice place. Lovely apt available, but we are not ready to move.

Lovely environment and looks like residents are very well cared for.

Nice, clean, friendly. Maybe not able to provide enough care for Mother. Maybe easy to get "lost" on the other hand, Mother might be quite happy Meals not particular flexible. Very friendly. Not willing to accept Mother=too much care
