Treated my mother with dignity towards the end. She needed constant care, feeding, bathing, toileting. They were very good with dementia.

The facility is clean, no odors. It's fairly new and well maintained. Nicely decorated. Pleasant rooms. Staff is courteous and the patient/staff ratio is good. The food is good and served in a nice fining area. We highly recommend this facility.

Overall I am very pleased with the memory care unit.

This is a most fantastic place! So welcoming! and helpful. My mom is here for almost one month. The staff is phenomenal- the food is gourmet- the atmosphere is cheery! - The activities are varied - The residents are so congenial- kudos to [names removed]. Do not confuse it with Hillcrest at Firethorn. Highly recommend.

My dad selected the Woodlands after touring several other properties in Lincoln. He chose the woodlands because it felt like home to him. Today when I ask him how he likes it, he always says "It's wonderful." [name removed] and her team are outstanding - that includes [names removed]. Every individual is helpful and there isn't a request too big or too small. In addition, both the food and activities are outstanding. We know we made the right choice. Thank you!

My mom moved here in November after a hospital and rehab stay. She is 89 and my dad had passed away 6 months earlier. She could no longer take good care of herself, wasn't eating, wasn't sleeping well and sat alone most of the day. Now she has gained weight (loves the food) is sleeping well and takes part in every activity she possibly can. The people are wonderful to her, very kind and caring. We are so happy we found Woodlands for her.

This is a very impressive facility! The layout of the memory care unit is excellent in terms of bringing the residents together for activities and keeping them occupied. It was very clean, well lit and calm facility.

This is a small community with a "family feeling". I really like the fact that this building is all for memory care. A family friend stays here and every time we visit the building is very clean with NO SMELL, residents are freely walking around, participating in daily activities, or engaging with each other or staff. Our friend is happy every time we visit and says its a great place to stay!

Nice small cozy environment and affordable.

We are so pleased to have found this community for my grandma! She absolutely loves it here and her health has gotten better since her move in! That itself says so much about the staff and the services that they provide! There is constant interaction from the staff and other resident’s, which she needed! The daily activities have helped her so much! She loves attending the musical events that the woodlands holds a couple times a week! She raves about the food and the food service! She talks highly about the staff and that they’re always willing to help her when she needs it! We are so happy with everything here! If you’re looking for a place for a family member, you have to take a tour at the woodlands!

Very nice facility. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Decided against because of rooms on 2nd fl; too much for mom (in her convalescing condition) to negotiate the trip to the dining room. If the distance to our house was shorter, I would have considered for a permanent room.

The staff is amazing. The food is so good. The building is beautiful. Best place to live!! They have fun activities. They provide transportation to and from doctors appointments. What's not to love about this place?

The Woodlands is an awesome place to live. The inside is decorated well, pictures are large, well chosen with human interest. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, certified and helpful, whether about meds or other living concerns. The food is prepared by a chef who’s motto is fresh is best. The menu changes each week with self seating. Programs are scheduled for entertainment. Attendance is free choice. This is such a great place, word travels quickly. I am so very thankful that I found this wonderful facility for my Dad! With his advanced dementia, everything was getting extremely hard for him, living alone....and extremely hard for me to give him the care that he needed. With the help of A Place for Mom, my husband and I visited about 8 places, all nice , but the one that fit my Dad perfectly was The Landing of Canton. It was smaller than most, with an easy floor plan for getting around. And the many times that we popped in, I always had the best feeling about his care.Residents were always talking, putting puzzles together, listening to music or doing fun activities. And with the help of all of the nice professional staff, he's well taken care of, happy and content. I really can't thank them enough for the excellent care that they've given him and the peace of mind that they've given me!

I made a pop in your I was very impressed with the marketing team member. She provided additional information regarding additional services in addition to the housing need. I definitely enjoyed the tour very nice and clean and friendly professional atmosphere.
