I think it's a good place. People are real helpful.

Took my father in law on a tour. The facility is clean and has a very home feel to it. The staff are very engaged with their residents and knowledgeable. All questions were answered. I highly recommend this facility if you're seeking a place for a parent.

Gave a vey thorough tour of their building and facilities. Toured several other homes and none impressed me more. Here is where we chose to live. All the staff was. Very friendly and helpful. I am just sorry that it took so long to finally find this facility.

My husband had a wonderful respite stay at Avista Ferndale and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing he was comfortable and happy. The staff cheerfully assisted him with daily selfcare and involved him with activities that captured his interest. This was our first time with respite care for my husband who is wheelchair bound. The bathroom was well-designed for accessibility, and the apartment was comfortable. When I asked him about his experience, he said, "I liked it!" What a relief for me! We would like to return to Avista for upcoming respite stays. The staff are amazing!

My mother has been at Avista for almost a year. She chose Avista for several reasons, one being they are very pet friendly. Another, is that they have many family events and always decorate and celebrate the holidays. (That has always been important to her). She is also impressed with the dining room and meals served. And, she can get her hair done without having to leave the facility! My brothers and I feel we made a good choice!

I moved to Avista because they had a furnished room, immediately available @ a competitive rate. After a short period of time, and recovery, I requested an unfurnished room, which they obliged, completely repainted - and I furnished myself, (and paid a reduced room rate) and I am happy Everyone, especially the friendly management, has knocked themselves out to please me, which I appreciate. I like the "boutique" (35 patient) -sized facility which allows me to get to know the aides, nurse and other patients.

The care my in-laws receive is great. Thank you for doing a good job. The food was very tasty, the aids friendly, and a good variety of choices. The manager brought her teenage kids to help and they appeared to genuinely be glad to help. What a blessed time with family and friends. The BINGO games were fun and a nice addition to our table talk.

We looked at several facilities. We liked the smaller size of Avista. More personal and in the same area where my MIL lived. The staff was very cordial. [name removed], the community relations manager was efficient and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions and followed up with us. The activities director, [name removed] is very on the ball and energetic. The medical attention is great as well. Avista is clean and smells pleasant. Meals are lacking at times, though.

My mother is a new resident at Avista. It is welcoming, clean, comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. She is happy and kept busy with activities. I'm so glad she chose this senior community as her new home.

I went and took a tour at this facility and it’s everything I’ve been looking for. The staff is beyond exceptional and extremely friendly. They keep this place clean and taken care of. Can’t wait to see what my mom thinks of it. She was nervous about going but is now feeling 100 times better.

We’ve had a very good experience in this place. The staff is very kind, professional, and caring. My aunt receives excellent care and she seems very happy here. We’re thankful and I recommend this place to others.

This place is amazing. It feels like home. The staff is so friendly and went out of their way to say hello. The administration is knowledgeable and answered all questions they were being asked by residents and families. I enjoy coming to this facility to visit the residents and have made so many new friends in them all. There are so many staff members who I have seen for many years here as I have come to visit. Our family friend has been here since 2015 and loves it. They enjoy all the fun actives they have that bring the community into the facility. Their favorites are Halloween and Christmas because they get to see all the cute kids.

My mother has lived her for 8 years. It feels like a real community with beautiful human beings. I loved eating lunch with my mom and visiting with the residents. All their personal life stiries are beautiful and unique. The food is quite delicious. The medical staff is knowledgeable a d very respectful. My mother needs assistance and it is always done with kindness and dignity. Several CNA’s have been former science students of mine. The administratio is dedicate and passionate about creating a feeling of respect and friendliness. The way they include families and the local community is so inspiring with community trick or treaters, Santa photos and treats at Christmas. And the biggest is pulling off a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner held at Noon is second to none. Delicious. And the administration and staff serve the meal themselves. Simply wonderful. It is truly a home for my mom. . In short I would never want to have my mom leave in any other facility in my state. Period.

My family and I were in town and recently visited an aunt who is a resident, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming environment the the facility had. The staff are kind, attentive, and truly care about the residents wellbeing. I can confidently say that I would feel at peace leaving my own mother here knowing she would be safe, and cared for. I would truly recommend Avista Ellensburg for anyone looking for quality care for their loved one.

All the staff was very friendly and all the activities they had for them to do was great! Such a nice group of people taking care of everybody there. Great environment and very welcoming facility that looks to be well maintained!

My most recent visit walking into the facility you are welcomed with a happy and welcoming staff, not only with guest but there residents. Love it! The residents are always doing fun activities. The facility is very clean and staff is very informative.
