We have not lived there yet to experience the activities but there seems to be a lot of them offered. We've had several meals there - everything was delightful. The whole apartment has been freshly painted and floors were changed from carpet to vinyl plank, per our request! So, so happy with our choice - of your group and of staff at Atria!!!

Currently in search of a place for a loved one, I reached out to Atria FH to ask for a tour. I was invited to a tour by [name removed] was courteous, professional, patient and friendly. He answered all the questions I had and told me important things that I did not even think of asking. Atria FH was truly beautiful, similar to the atmosphere of a good and warm hotel in a pleasant area. As [name removed] told me about Atria FH, , I could see that he had a big heart and truly cared about the well-being of residents. The residents that I saw appeared vibrant and happy. The Interaction between residents and staff was warm. It was clear that in Atria FH all care deeply about one another.

I love Atria Marland Place! Everyone, from the front door reception area to maintenance to the women that work with my mom daily as well as the hairdresser, are all doing an exceptional job. [Name removed], when I met him, he was the kindest person. He helped my sister and I in a direction that we really didn't know too much about, it was the first time mom was in Memory Care. He went out of his way to help my family receive the utmost quality of guidance and help in the direction where Mom is today. We are hoping that we will be staying at the Atria for a very long time. We only have that hope. But I'll tell you, I live every moment to the moment and as a result of my visits seeing mom, they have become my family.

My loved one is currently a resident at Atria Longmeadow Place and everything has been great for her at this facility so far. Communication with the family has been great. The staff, friendliness, care services, meals and activities have all been great so far. The value for cost is great, as well. We are very happy with Atria Longmeadow Place. I would recommend this facility to others.

When it comes to the cleanliness the sinks/showers in apartments need a little more attention. Our loved one is very content there and enjoys the kindness of the entire staff. We would recommend this community to other families

It was the first one from your list, that I visited and compared to other places I visited and sourced myself… I liked it immediately.I have had an excellent experience.

We visited my aunt who recently moved in and I was pleasantly surprised to see how the residents were all busy doing various different activities. The staff was pleasant , encouraging and very attentive to the residents and their needs. We were there during a social happy hour and there was a live entertainer who was great. We even sampled some of the food and it was delicious. My aunt never wanted to leave her home, but she admitted she should've made the move sooner. I am very pleased with Atria and would recommend to everyone who is looking for a senior living community.

A recent experience with my Brothers decline from dementia. This occurred over several years with the onset of his loss of memory of familiar family members. Followed by delusional episodes, ie out of the blue scenarios with imaginary people, plans for meeting etc. However able to maintain his apartment and tend his kitty. Over time his ability to maintain the apartment, do laundry, prepare meals and personal hygiene declined. Then wandering in the city and bing rescued by a good friend. Then his food intake declined and severe weight loss ensued. Psychiatric analysis confirmed dementia. Finally contact with Kew Gardens was made possible and he was placed in the memory care facility. We were impressed with the cleaness of his room and the professional care provided. As anyone having experienced this decline we are now breathing with a sigh of relief knowing he is in a safe, professional environment.

We picked this community because it's close to my brothers so we can share seeing my mom. The experience has been great. I would recommend to others.

We picked this community because of the, proximity and ability to shift to memory care at same location if ever needed. So far, very positive and good interactions with the affiliated medical team. I feel mom is getting the attention she needs and it takes a lot of maintenance off of my shoulders.

5 on all categories listed above - even cost compared to other places, it is still not affordable for most especially on the earlier side. I am thrilled with the facility. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

The entire team at Atria Darien, especially [name removed], went out of their way to make our mother’s transition from home to assisted living a great experience. [name removed] attention to detail, patience and expertise and handling the most difficult aspects of a big out of town move made this necessary step go so smoothly for a very reluctant new guest. [name removed] was wonderful and attended to my mother’s needs with love, warmth and expert care. This is a very special place and feels like home.

I met with the Community Sales Director to talk about services I can provide the residents and future residents. The Community Sales Director was extremely warm and friendly, and very easy to talk to. I was given a tour of the facility and was given explanations for the different features and amenities. The Community Sales Director was exceptionally pleasant to be with, and I can see why Atria Cranford is a wonderful senior living community.

The feeling of an upscale hotel rather than a retirement facility. Beautiful apartments with full kitchens with washer and dryer hook ups.Nice landscaping with outdoor walk paths and places for leisure. Very nice dining hall with quality food, not to mention, many scheduled activities to choose from. My mother loves it there and has participated in many of the activities offered. I was concerned she would be an introvert but that has not been the case. Very pleased.

Based on the experience we have had so far, we are very pleased with The Village Walk at Patchogue community. So far we do not have one single complaint about the community. The staff members that work there are wonderful.

Mom & dad moved there in ‘12, and she has stayed since dad passed away in ‘13. She absolutely loves it. The staff are hired based on wanting to be with the community, and it shows in the way they care about the residents. There are a variety of activities that residents can choose to participate in, including cards, games, arts & crafts, movies, water aerobics, exercise classes, etc. They also arrange for “field trips” to shows, shopping, etc. The dining room offers breakfast and a choice between lunch or dinner, with a variety of options every day. The facility itself is in good shape, and they work to keep it top notch, especially with new senior facilities being built all around. This was not the place we thought they would move to, since dad needed home health care, but residents are able to have home health come to them. All in all, this was the best place for them to move, and mom has never regretted moving there!
