Tour was very mice, everyone seemed happy. I like the activities music. crafts and discussion group.

My tour was very informative the lady was very kind and patient.

Friendly staff, beautiful faculty lots of activities to keep residents busy, food looks great. Very excited for my dad to move in next week.

I will review Atria in 3 areas: the staff, the facility and the food. The staff has been wonderful. They are attentive and professional. They knew my wife's name on the first day. She was in need of more supervision, so they arranged that. She is engaged by staff to participate in activities with the other residents. This allows her to make friends and get to know the other residents. The physical facility is well maintained and clean. She has transitioned to memory care which keeps her in touch with the same group of people every day. She likes the routine. The food is served restaurant style. Residents select from a menu of several choices for each meal. This allows for some variety. Meals are another opportunity for socializing.

I would definitely recommend Atria to people who are making decisions about a love one. But I did complain once while I was eating lunch with her. They had served her some kind of meat. The meat was in too large of hunks for the older people to eat. I watched several people having issues.

They had a lot of activities for their community people! I would however there a few things I would like to point out! More training on Dementia patients on the 4th Floor staff, also the language barrier as the Spanish staff are hard to understand and not to say they all are that way! Overall they were wonderful to my husband it was just a horrific experience overall as his wife! [name removed] was fantastic so was [name removed]and [name removed], [name removed] can't remember the rest of the staff not to say they didn't do their job!

[name removed] and [name removed] were the business people I dealt with and they were really good at explaining options and helping me with applying for the low income program for my mother-in-law. They were both very receptive to answering all my questions and emails whenever I had one. It's a beautiful place and, I think fairly affordable for this area.

I would give each category a 5 except meals/dining are 4. Nothing wrong with the meals but to get a 5 they would need to be pretty gourmet. The food is certainly good but not over the top. The staff is excellent.

We recently moved our dad into Maplewood and every person we met was friendly and accommodating. From [name removed] who presented to us to [name removed]at the front desk to [name removed]who helped dad adjust to [name removed]who has been super responsive to requests. We are very happy with the facility.

My mother in law is very happy in her living situation. She feels close to the staff and has made some good friends. It's a very safe environment. My mother in law made friends fast. The leadership ensures inclusion. Friendly people and staff.

We picked this community because of the location and transportation for doctor appointments. It's a very nice place.

Atria Kew Gardens is excellent. I wanted to move in myself. The staff was also excellent. They have nice rooms. It's clean. There's no nursing home/hospital smell. What I like best about the place is [name removed]. She was the one in charge and showed me around. The atmosphere of the place was very entertaining and very stimulating. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was the spot. When you walked in the door, it was very welcoming.

Food is quiet well with choices. The manager seems to be very concern with safety, health of the residents. The staff is quite good. I visit almost daily. My wife seems happy. Her cousin who also visits weekly is very impressed.

I am so grateful for the wonderful experience my dad is having at Atria at the Arboretum. The healthy and delicious meals prepared by [name removed] and her kitchen crew have truly revitalized him. [name removed] made the move seamless, ensuring he felt at home right away. It's heartwarming to see him enjoying life, engaging in activities, and feeling valued. Everyone knows him by name. We see his photos in newsletters and on Facebook and we’re glad he’s involved! Thank you to everyone at Atria for providing such a caring and welcoming environment. I'm so relieved and happy with our decision to move him! Most importantly, he is happy!

My only critique with the care services, is that there isn't any kind of "report card" sent out. It would be helpful to have a report of how my mom is doing, what activities and events she is engaged in, any areas of concern, etc. sent to me on a regular basis. When I call and ask the staff gives me a brief report but it is always initiated by me. Mom says the food is "ok" to "good", never "delicious!")

Everything that could be done to make my stay memorable was done by [name removed]. She thought of everything. She always is there for me. From soaps to creams etc. she is a very special person. You should appreciate her.

We were staying in oyster bay New York, and we are very familiar with Glen cove New York. When we took my sister to tour we were very impressed with the director very compassionate and understanding with our situation with placing my sister.

Lisa’s interaction with my mom during our tour helped decrease my mom’s anxiety and fears. She was very knowledgeable and sincere. The entire staff was friendly. I would highly recommend Atria Willow Park.

just met with [name removed] and the wonderful embracing staff and community at atria forest hills. my mom will move in soon and become a part of a vibrant and lovely home looking forward to her enjoying her new adventures.

Hello...long story short-my mom has lived in regular assisted living in her own studio apartment for the past 2.5 years. During this time, her dementia/Alzheimer's condition continued to deteriorate and she became agitated over time. After having a SAU (senior adult unit) adjust her psych meds to calm her anxiety, she never bounced back or reacclimated well upon her return. She began to be confused in the environment she was so familiar living in for the past 2.5 years. Suddenly I was forced to pay for overnight care (in addition to the [fee removed]/month I was already paying monthly for her to live there). I had to pull the trigger QUICKLY! After deep-diving ALF's with memory care facilities around me, I discovered Atria Maplewood. I had a conversation w/[name removed] & made an appointment to tour for that day. [name removed] was AMAZING during our phone conversation, & was even more awesome in person. [name removed] compassion, empathy & understanding were ALL I needed to know this was the RIGHT PLACE! :)
