After a bad fall at home I was relieved to found this senior living alternative for my wife and me. We have been here 10 months and are happily getting in. The living a easy as the song says. Good food new friends minimal 1st quarter but very pleasant and private. Good for the long haul.

When my wife and I toured for her mom we noticed that all of the residents were smiling and welcoming. The grounds and buildings were also very well maintained and comfortable. The staff is very available and involved in ensuring that the residents are safe and happy.

I am an a caretaker who happens to be an only child. Caring for my 90 year old mom was beginning to be taxing. My mom was experiencing loneliness and anxiety living alone. It was challenging for me to assist her in her moving about; she sometimes experiences problems with her knees. I needed her to be somewhere she could get the help she needed without worrying about her being alone and not being able to help her. Atria Oakridge is the perfect place. She enjoys the entertainment and she's met some really kind people. Everyone looks out for her and I feel very comfortable with her being a resident there. The staff is very supportive and keeps me informed about what's going on. It is a place I highly recommend.

I can't say enough good about Atria. My mother is very happy, enjoys all the staff and residents. The only thing she is not 100% happy with is the food. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Good communication from administration and staff when their issues with Covid that's being done in the building, etc. Staff seems to truly care about the residence

There are a lot of things to enjoy at Atria when it comes to classes and activities. One activity I enjoy is brain symposium, which can be challenging but the people at Atria are very encouraging and help us a lot. The classes at Atria are for anyone and are very fun. There are also plenty of games and activities throughout the week, which also gives lots of opportunities for friends.

I have been impressed with Atria La Jolla up and down. The staff are so kind and caring and the facility and activities are top notch. Would recommend for anyone looking for independent living with a bit more support than most places.

I would recommend. I checked I think 5 other places. I picked this community because of the staff and friendliness.

It just fit Mom best. Right combination of everything. Food (!!!!) carpeted hallways, attentive staff including care workers and administration, lots of outdoor spaces, cost, room size. Other places were either subpar with no visual esthetics or were too grandeur. Atria was perfect for Mom.

My mother was living in a progressive living community in PA... She liked her community and had strong connections to the area after living there for 30+ years including a church that she was very very active in. My sister and I live in NC and finally convinced her to move here to be near us so we could assist her with things as she gets older. She was very hesitant, she started off with a negative attitude about just about everything. It did not take long for her to warm up to Atria Oakridge, the staff there is so nice and really care about the residents. I know a lot of these types of places where the staff gets complacent and jaded, but that is not the case with Atria. My mother did not just move in there, she has been there for 1.5 years now and I know what kind of place it is. They do care, they go the extra mile to take care of their residents and also are very approachable by the families of the residents. Not one time have I felt like I was intruding or not welcome.

I've been very happy with my mom's care. Although the cost has risen nearly $1,900.00 per month in her two yrs. & four month stay. That is just their cost increase and not my mom's care level cost. So that is a bit shocking. I also would like to see better nutritious snacks. Too much sugar ! However they try pretty hard serving descent meals. I do feel fortunate for the care at Atria overall.

The food is wonderful. The housekeeping is wonderful. The waiters are wonderful. The golf carts are wonderful. The pool is wonderful. I love the party, happy hour. Excellent live music. The workout room is excellent. Beautiful, new machines. There is so much I like. I think I am in heaven. God sent me here!

On the heels of a terrible experience at another facility, Atria in Center City Philadelphia has been a delight. My mother has been living there for about 9 months and is very happy and well-cared for. The communication with upper management has been consistent and reliable, the nursing staff is ever-present and kind, and the food is actually pretty good. At the onset, the sales team (notably [name removed]) answered all of my many questions and alleviated my concerns. Then Atria lived up to its promises. Though the first day of on-boarding/reception was a little clunky, it look very little time for the team there to get my mother integrated; and now she feels like it's home. As a healthcare professional I have been witness to a myriad of settings and institutions and I do not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone or their loved one(s). 5 stars.

Toured Atria with my best friend who is looking at community options for her mom. This is the first community we visited so I don’t have anything to compare to yet. I would say the grounds were beautiful, it’s so nice to have all of the outdoor space. It was a relatively cool day but we still saw a gentleman swimming. Lots of people were out and about, saying hi to us and making us feel welcome, both residents and the employees we encountered. It looks like there is always something going on and it felt lively which was unexpected but a nice surprise. Our biggest fear was that the communities we visited would be depressing and that was not the case here. Atria Willow Glen was a great first tour and I could easily see this being the right fit.

I would said that everyone I came into contact with, was cordial and welcoming. I picked this community because of the vibe. Real clean, and cozy.

Everything is 5 except the cost is continually rising. Nearly 35% cost increase in two years. They will work with you on the pricing but its always higher the what we say we can afford. We're going to likely be outprice by the next year of price increases. I would definitely recommend, but would also tell them to be aware the price is increased yearly, with the lowest cost increase we've seen being 12%.

[name removed] was a great informative and company representatve. She was knowlegeable, patient and answered all of our questions. Her demeanor was very comforting. However, we ruled this community out as my wife has difficulty eating because of an essential tremor. [name removed]introduced us to [name removed], head of food services, and [name removed]told us that assistance with feeding was not an option at Atria.

The sales team is just stellar and she continued to follow up even after a full year of my mom in the nursing home. Goes above and beyond from visiting my mom to picking me up to come tour the beautiful grounds. Mom will be getting more freedom and we are appreciative of all the care.

I was not a resident of this location, but a friend was. The team was FANTASTIC! For the brief Respite Stay, everything was excellent. [name removed], [name removed],[name removed], [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]were a very well organized team. They were so professional, gracious and truly went out of their way to make the brief stay a memorable one. Atria Glen Cove is a luxury property, with great meals, immaculate grounds and facility. All the services you need are right there. Thank you again for being so wonderful.

Thanks again for each time you open your hearts to me and others at Atria. Each and everything done is truly appreciated. It was a Bus ride to church, an Arts and Craft item made to decorate my front door, a ride to get my hair cut, or to the aquarium to enjoy the sites and aroma of the ocean I love so much, the Bible study where I was able to ask questions or having [name removed]lead the Friday dance exercise class. Being able to get a few items like milk, cereal, a banana or an apple from the kitchen between 1 - 3 … Helping decorate the lobby Christmas tree, enjoy s’mores on the patio with friends and help plant vegetables and herbs in patio boxes. Walking from the clubhouse where we can all enjoy happy hour or a game of “Wii Bowling” to a good dinner in the dinning room … if the walk is too much for us, a golf cart driver will gladly pick us and our walkers up and deliver us to our destination.
