My mom lived here in Assisted Living and for a while it was great but her disease progressed quickly. The Memory Care floor was depressing although they had great activities and seemed to know exactly what they were doing. There are also no private rooms in Memory Care which was not an option for us and too expensive. I liked the Director. He knew what he was doing and was extremely knowledgeable.

Lovely spot, caring staff and wonderful facility. This is on the high end, very luxurious feel, in a good way. Not the right geographical fit for us, though.

Toured on Saturday. We liked it very much. We still would like to look at two more area locations to have a comparison, and my husband would like some references from families of residents.

Beautiful building, nice apartments, ate in the fine dining side of the restaurant and the food was excellent. Well planned internal activities with good variety. Fewer planned outings than I would have liked. Staff seemed pleasant, caring and competent.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mother. This is a really big facility with a great big movie theater. The director of activities was excellent and I was impressed. She was the single most impressing thing about the whole place. My sister-in-law and wife went with me on the tour and they both noticed the same thing I did. We saw everyone just sitting around and it’s like the staff didn’t notice them. There is nothing wrong with the facility; it just wasn’t for my Mother. I would recommend this community to other families.

The people and amenities were great. This Atria is rather large and seems less personal than some other locations that I have visited. The Memory Care section was a plus but is cost prohibitive.

It was a wonderful visit, lunch was great and our tour guide was fantastic. It just makes decisions harder to make. I have no complaints except the annual increase with no notice. While visiting another location there were at least six residents relocating from Atria. Nice but there appears to be hidden cost to add to $2548 monthly fee.

I toured this facility and liked it very much. However, they segregate the assisted living from the independent living and I wanted my Mom to be able to interact with people that were still very cognitive. The staff was very responsive and more honest with us than I think is typical for clients. The cleanliness was good and I never saw anything that was out of place. They had a few activities available but no Catholic service, which is something that we really wanted for my Mom. Ultimately, we decided against moving her in.

Overall, I feel that Atria is a very good community. I like that it's clean, and that the staff seems very friendly, caring, and attentive to the residents. I feel that the food is good, but I do wish they would do more with the residents as far as activities go. I think they do what they can, but it seems that they do more sitting around than I would like. Overall, I think my loved one is happy here, and we are pleased that he is well cared for and close by.

Atria Campana was a very nice community overall. The people were polite, the food was very good, the facility was very pleasant, the rooms were attractive, and the kitchen area was adequate. However, we were looking for a community that did not use high levels of chemicals on the premises. We were initially told that they lay pesticides on the outside of the community quarterly. However, we found out later that the grounds are sprayed monthly. My patient is highly sensitive to such chemicals, and she became very sick while she was here as a result.

I toured Atria while looking at a place for my husband and me. I did really like the community, and we felt very comfortable there. However, I felt that the apartments were too small. We were hoping for something more spacious that what they had available there.

Atria Walnut Creek has been a very positive experience for us so far. My mother seems to be warming up to the community pretty well. I feel that the staff’s communication is good, They are flexible and willing to work with you, and that the atmosphere is very warm and friendly there. I get a feeling of genuine caring. The food is very good, and they have a lot of verity. It’s like a restaurant or a bistro, with breakfast all day and two menus. I also like that they have three choices of room available studio, deluxe studio, and one bedroom, so it is easy to find a suitable option. I’d certainly recommend Atria to others.

Atria Grand Oaks has been a good experience overall for me. There are some issues with the dining staff. They’re short staffed, so it often takes a long time to get our food, but overall, the staff has been fantastic. They are very helpful and caring. The director is excellent. She is definitely in the right position and she has all the personality she needs. She is certainly extremely helpful and very well liked among the residents. I’d recommend the community to others.

My mom was living here in this community and it was always clean and kept up. The staff was friendly and caring. The memory wing hadn't been open very long and they were working on the staff turnaround there. But mom started falling a lot so we had to go to another community.

I was looking for a place for myself to live and had toured a couple of different communities before coming across Atria. From the tour I took, it was pleasant, but I could see that I would have had to walk a long way from the entrance to my room and maybe that's because they have a lot of people living there. Every body seemed friendly otherwise.

My mother lives in Newport Terrace. The staff has been great about pairing her up with a buddy to help her warm up to the community, and they are very helpful, warm, and congenial. They have lots of activities like exercises, Bingo, trips, and classes that my mother has been getting involved in. It's a mid-sized facility, which we liked, and yet they offer as many amenities as the larger ones. I was pleasantly surprised that it was no more expensive because of the NB address and the proximity was good for my family. They do have cleaning in the community once a week, but if I have one shortcoming to point out, it's that I wish they'd do a second pass, as I often empty the trash out and do a once-over of the bathroom when I visit. But overall, I’d definitely recommend it to others.
