Atria

Like many families, when we first visited Atria, we were going through a time of loss and transition. We were rather numb and overwhelmed when we met [name removed]. I can't say enough how kind and gentle she was, clear about our options, and supportive with checking in during the 15 months it took to get our affairs in order and move my Mom, [name removed], from Massachusetts. Mom settled in nicely and often mentions how safe she feels at Atria, how attractive it is, and how well-designed her small apartment is. She loves the activities. [Name removed] creates an interesting, complex and stimulating schedule. She is also very happy with the food and appreciates [name removed], the head chef, who is very open and personable. We also particularly enjoy [name removed] at the front desk, who is welcoming and always has something interesting to discuss. I cannot say enough how fortunate I feel to have my mother at Atria, especially since I am her number one person and travel often for work. Coincidentally, I have another "mother" now living at Atria, a woman I have known since I was five years old. I saw her in the hallway yesterday and she looked more relaxed, vibrant, and youthful than I have seen her in years. When I asked how it is all going, she said, in a nutshell, "I love everything about Atria."

This is my favorite so far. [Name removed] has not seen it yet, but we'll be going back.

Very homey place. Very inviting and friendly. Unfortunately out of our budget with the price. They have a lot to offer though for their services

This place is gorgeous, clean, the residents look happy. The staff seems happy and engaged. I am seriously looking at this place for my dad.

I love your facility and staff. I visit my aunt regularly. I am always greeted by the staff. The staff member then tells me where my aunt is at that time. 99.99% of the time, she is at an activity. Her favorite is the sing-a-longs. I admit, it is wonderful to hear all their voices singing. Most impressive is the staff singing along. The activities are very impressive. Craft days, singing, parties and even a voting day! The staff's imaginations seem to be endless. What makes me the happiest is to watch staff interact with the residents. They are so kind, gentle and caring. If you , did not know, you would think that the staff were taking care of their own mother, or father or grandparent. I believe that any family that has to make the choice to place a loved one undergoes many emotions. The two that stand out for me are dignity and respect. At Atria, the staff continuously treats residents with dignity and respect. It is part of who they are. They are angels sent to care for my aunt.

Without going into too much detail, my family member had an extremely difficult and complicated medical journey. The team at Atria, particularly Executive Director [name removed], were instrumental in helping my family member get out of skilled nursing and into Atria as fast as possible. Though my family member ended up needing a higher level of care again and quickly had to transfer out of Atria, the team there was extremely professional, understanding, and helpful at every step. If you are considering Atria for your family member, I highly recommend you reach out to the team. They will answer your questions honestly and help you navigate the process.

Lovely place. Unfortunately my loved one is not well enough for this location and will have to go to a board and care. This is an outstanding assisted living location and I would have chosen it in a heatbeat.

Atria has been a wonderful experience for both my husband and me. Five years ago we had to make a quick decision to leave our home due to my husband’s Alzheimer diagnosis and Atria has been the answer. We have been very happy here. The care is excellent and the executive director wants all the teams to work together to ensure all the residents are living to the fullest. We have an excellent nurse. Everyone is interested in the residents and provides the best care.

Atria is the only home I’ve been in, but It’s been a pleasure. To be in> Ive made a lot of friends, who have become more like family. Even the staff and volunteers are wonderful.

My experience at Atria Bay Spring in Barrington has been exceptional. The staff are wonderful and caring people, who have provided a home away from home for my mom in Life Guidance. The Administrative Staff have been so helpful and kind, from sales to department managers. I don't know how I would have managed without them. Lastly, the facility is lovely. I am so grateful.

Having to move your mom/dad out of their home is never an easy thing to do. village walk has made moving our father into assisted living a breeze for my siblings and I. My dad has always been a social guy but after being here for a few months he has made so many friends and is always busy when we come to visit. The administrative staff goes above and beyond their titles and is willing to help with anything and this extends to all of their staff as well. They are always there to help my dad as well as any of us when we visit. we are forever thankful for making this transition an easy one for our family!

My mother has been at Atria for about 1 month and in the short time she has been there, I already see major positive changes. Her outlook on life has improved 100%! She smiles, she laughs! I am very happy that she is doing so well there. She has made friends and enjoys the events they have.

Nice facility. [Name removed] gave me a great tour and a comprehensive review of services and charges.

Great place in so many ways!

I have been staying here for only over a month to date so I can't give an elaborate review. So far, I find Atria a nice and homely place to live. Residents are friendly and staff are very accommodating! I have yet to discover other activities as I continue to live here.

Excellent facility - staff is very friendly.

Excellent tour today with [name removed] at Atria Oakridge. The apartments were nice and washer/dryer hook up was a nice touch. I had lunch with residents there and was able to ask questions. The staff were very nice and residents were happy overall. Great place to consider.

I cannot say enough good about this facility. My father has advanced dementia and a variety of physical limitations. The staff could not have been more caring, professional and communicative. From the moment we walked in for our first site visit, we knew this place was different. It has a positive energy, is full of light and warmth, and is truly among one the many blessings we have found through A very difficult time for our family.

I'm so grateful for Atria Crossroads place! They shower my mother with love and help her to feel so secure! I'm grateful for the RSA's, Engage Life staff and everyone there!
