Comfort is everything, and Atria has delivered. Not having to worry about cooking meals, housekeeping, entertainment, and maintaining a home has been a great relief for me. I am able to focus on enjoying my golden years in a place that has it all!

Atria San Juan does a tremendous job. I truly appreciate the staff and how compassionate they are for the residents. Its like one big family. My aunt was recently there and she couldn't stop complimenting the employees. Thank you for all you do, especially during these times.

They take real good care of our father. The staff is friendly, attentive to his needs, and always let us know of any problems he is having. They allow him to live as independently as possible given his overall situation. They have done a real good job during these last several months of COVID problems.

I feel so comfortable living here. It was an easy decision for me when I found out I would be living amongst fellow professors. The poetry group has been my favorite program along with the dining options.

Glad I made the decision to live in this community. I've lived in NYC--specifically, the UWS area--and Atria was an easy transition for me. I live in the same neighborhood that I know and love, and with Atrias convenient amenities I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything!

I’ve had family member and friends of family that stay at the atria. I have nothing but great things to say. From the cleanliness of the establishment to the management. Everyone is very friendly, food is wonderful and the activities were always fun for my family members. Would recommend atria to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones.

I can't say enough about how happy I am with the decision to move my dad into Atria Hertlin Place. From the moment you pull into the winding driveway and into the front doors we already felt home. Everyone we met on the tour was friendly, well kept and smiling. The building is immaculate, updated and smells wonderful. The room we chose for my dad overlooks the huge property and the foliage this time of year is breath taking. My dad will really enjoy the walking path around the community and he's looking forward to his first Veterans lunch and Men's Club.

We were impressed with Atria from our first call. The receptionist was patient and helpful directing us to the right person. We were overwhelmed with lookin for a new place for my Dad but they made the process painless. They did everything they could to help relieve the stress from us and most importantly him. He loves the care staff and feels like they are part of his family. He loves to call Atria home.

My sister needed to be moved into assisted living. Atria was the first and only place we looked. It’s a great facility and I can’t even begin to say how much everyone has helped with my sister having to make this very difficult and emotional move. [name removed] has gone above and beyond especially! All the staff members are very friendly and helpful. The majority of residents love living there! I feel very comfortable and grateful to be able to have my sister live at Atria. They will take outstanding care of her!!

Overall, VERY happy! I sleep soundly EVERY night!

I didn't truly realize how lucky I am to live here until I was stuck in a rehab facility for over 6 months. I missed everyone so much and the team of directors even came to visit me at the rehab and made me feel so special and loved. I am so happy to be back home here with my friends and the staff who are like family.

I was born and raised in Lake ronkonkoma- So I knew when I was helping my grandmother look for a community it would be Hertlin (House) Place. I remember when it was built. We met with the director and she was lovely. She explained everything nicely. It was nice that she introduced us to all the residents and staff members along the way. My grandmother had chose to move in and is very happy. She has made some wonderful friends and really enjoys the socialization. Her favorite part is all live music they bring in. It is very uplifting during this time.

Upon looking around at quite a few communities for my Aunt we came to Hertlin. I have lived in the area for many years and never even knew it was there. The grounds are amazing. Looks like a beautiful Hotel tucked on the top of a hill. My Aunt Loved the community above all others. every resident that we saw during our visit went out of their way to say hello. All of the staff was equally happy. My aunt has been there a few months now and we are thrilled. even in our "new normal" it feels like a huge family.

In a matter of days I was forced to find my father assisted living at the age of 77. Obviously it’s a hard thing to do when you’re planning - let alone some thing you have to do in a matter of days. My family has history of owning nursing homes in upstate New York and I’ve grown up working for our family business for several years so I have a insight to adult care. That said I could not be more pleased and happy to call this place his HOME. The level of care and interaction has been amazing and know he is part of their family not a number.

This has been a wonderful living community. I feel like I'm part of a family with all of the friends I've made over the years. There's no need for me to venture out to seek entertainment, delicious meals, and community.

This is a great place. They have protocols that truly protect the resident from COVID. They provide great communication. It is a loving community of support. I would definitely recommend this place.

A completely different style of Senior Living! My loved one is very happy here.

Atria Hertlin Place has been home to my grandmother for the past 2 years. She was hesitant to move in but after adjusting she feels like this is her home. The staff is attentive, the community is well kept and on a beautiful piece of property that makes you feel like you are in the country. The food is tasty and my grandma feels like she's eating a home cooked meal. Everyone treats us like family and there is no where else I would want her to be. In addition, The management team worked diligently during COVID to keep my grandma and the entire community safe and healthy. This has been the BEST decision we made!
