When Mom required a Senior Living Community, Atria Lynbrook was our choice. However, about a year later Mom needed a higher level of care which was not yet available at the Atria. So she moved to a Memory Care Community not run by Atria. We were disappointed in the care and service and felt Mom was definitely not as comfortable. How happy were we to discover that earlier this year the Atria Lynbrook opened a Memory Care Community in their location. We immediately made arrangements for Mom to return. She seems much more settled and aware. We love the staff, the services and the attention to detail exhibited by every member of the Atria Lynbrook team. Keep up the great work!!!

Clean, brand new, and attentive staff! My mom has been very complimentary on everyone she has interacted with. She feels very happy, safe, and cared for! She loves the food too! We are so happy and relieved that we chose the right facility for her. It really feels like “home”!

It's been a whirlwind after Mom fell & broke her hip. The realization that my Independent Mom was now at a point that she needed assisted living care is not an easy decision to make for any family. The key is finding Good Care, good customer service & a facility with a Director & employees that takes pride in putting their residents welfare first, especially in a Pandemic! Covid -19 didn't make it easy in the process, but Atria Collwood came through for my brother & I to tour the facility in the moment, virtually by [name removed]. The grounds kept clean, facility is clean & organized. We decided that day that it was the place for Mom! It didn't end there; [name removed] along with [name removed] the Director worked in the process of an exit plan from the skilled nursing facility Mom was at 2 hours away; Having Mom evaluated medically to insure best care for her when she arrived at Atria. Putting me in contact with a Home Care service for Physical Therapy & Mobile Drs. Service was a tremendous help! All falling into place for Mom's benefit and giving me the peace of mind I so needed after many sleepless nights worrying what was best for Mom. My peace of mind was knowing Mom was going to be safe & her needs met in her new home at Atria Collwood. Minute Mom arrived the staff was so attentive!! Atria Collwood was an answer to my prayers asking for help & insight to do what was best for Mom in her circumstances & in a Pandemic. Thank you Atria for coming through for Mom & my family. No words can convey the appreciation and gratitude I feel for helping me get Mom the help she needs and to her new home!

I certainly saw the negative review posted. That was 2 years ago. I know first hand how clean, well cared for, and above and beyond the facility is maintained. That of course is just the ascetics. The staff there is kind, warm, and goes over the top to make sure that all the residents are cared for and all their needs are met. The activities that are planned are well thought out, entertaining, and puts a sparkle in the eyes of those living at the Atria of Plainview. I know firsthand because I have been there and witnessed all of these attributes. I was blown away by the very gentle nature of the staff, attentiveness to the residents , and just the smooth running operations that go on there on a daily basis. You should have no worries having your loved one live in such a warm, inviting environment. See for yourself and take a tour with one of the wonderful associates there.

Really loved living here! The staff is always helpful and there is always fun things to do like going to DPAC, shopping or to a museum. Legacy is a great group as well and its very convenient to have them in the building - though they make me work hard :) I enjoyed having meals with others and doing puzzles in the common area. Overall a really nice place to live

We wish to thank you for the excellent care you all gave our father. It was comforting to us to know that he was being so well cared for during his stay.

when I phone my aunt she is always busy doing activities or out and about with the leaders off to a great adventure to a park or shopping square. When we speak to her she always has so many things to share with us about her day. We are glad she chose to live at Atira

I have just recently moved my father to atria crossroads . I have been really pleased with the transition my father has made to this facility.. the staff is always pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

This has been a great place for me to reside in my senior years. I mostly keep to myself but I never reject company.

I have no complaints about this place! My mother has been so happy at Atria and has made new friends. She really enjoys the volunteering program they have since my mother has always given back to her community. She also enjoys the Good Dog Foundation that brings in dogs for all the residents to socialize with.

My mother lived at this facility for several years. She never complained and was always happy to be living there. She was quite the joiner of their activities and my family and I often joined in some festivities there. All the staff were caring and loving to my mother.

I have toured Atria with clients, and each time we are always impressed with the atmosphere and sense of friendly community. The residents are happy and inviting and it speaks volumes to how the folks at Atria are serving their community and how they care for them. The food is always great and the apartments are spacious.

My experience at Atria has been nothing but positive. The food is great the company of my neighbors is better. I enjoy the concerts and the happy hours and the outings. I'm a quiet guy but have made lots of friends over the years and I always feel at home.

I am a first grade teacher in Valley Stream, who has had the delight of working with the residents of The Atria Lynbrook for ten years. Together with [name removed], Atria's Engage Life Director, we have been planning and enjoying monthly visits for our Intergenerational Reading Program with my first grade students. The compassion and direction shown by [name removed] is extraordinary. As is the care by [name removed], who transports the residents in the most loving, caring manner. The residents light up when they enter my classroom...almost as much as my students. I have been teaching for more years than I care to admit, and these visits are by far, the highlight of my career. We have had the opportunity to visit The Atria, and have been greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. I can't rave enough about my impression of The Atria Lynbrook!

At this time in her life, Atria is the opportunity our mother needed to become an active member in a caring, safe, fun filled community. The residence is absolutely beautiful. No matter what the job description may be, each and every staff member has gone the extra mile to establish a personal relationship with our mother. The directors provide leadership by developing caring relationships with the residents, and also provide a great sense of comfort to families through their communication. We are so happy and grateful to be an Atria family.

My mother has been living at atria for pass 8 years. By having [name removed] in the office has been the best thing ever happened to the residence. Every one has been so caring and loving at Atria. To be is like they r taking care of there family. I am so thankful that everyone has been healthy and safe during this difficult time. I want to thank everybody from the bottom of my heart ??

Wonderful place to live, amazing staff, and residents.

Staff is friendly and know every residents by name. Residents are happy and enjoy their home. The community is beautiful, neat and clean.

Such an amazing place to live, wonderful and caring staff , we love Atria Newport Plaza

As soon as our lease was up we moved here. We became residents in December 2019. We were only here a few months when the corona virus hit. In the few months we were able to enjoy some of the amenities, one being having our meals at the Café. We got to meet some other residents and Atria became more of a community in my eyes than a complex. Everyone, residents, staff were all so friendly and welcoming. After the corona virus hit we were told to stay in and the staff began to take care of our meals by delivering them three times a day. Our safety by taking our temperatures twice a day. And our mental health by providing positive distractions, with theme days, musicians coming outside our quads, puzzle books and more. There are not enough ways for us to say thank you and thank God for the staff here. Everyone, I mean everyone on the staff took care of us. We continued to have our once a week cleaning giving special attention due to corona protocols. For a extra charge we had all of our laundry washed as well.No job was too small or too big. They worked together to make sure we had what we needed. Do not forget that the temperatures have consistently over 100 degrees so that was no small task. My husband and I would gladly recommend Atria Valley Manor for any senior looking for a new home. Because that is what it is. A home where everyone cares.
