A Caring, Responsible, Warm Community! Atria Rye Brook is a wonderful, caring habitat for older family members. It offers independent living plus communal activities, including dining, movies, bingo, arts and crafts, on-site performances, NYC theater junkets, etc. The whole team - from front desk, to dining, cleaning and maintenance, office, sales and management - are responsible, welcoming people. During a serious illness that afflicted our family member, when we could not be on site, the management team stepped in and was there to provide life-saving guidance to family members. The executive management is particularly responsive to needs and deserves enormous credit for navigating with diligence, sensitivity and care through the pandemic that has afflicted us all.

I came to the Atria in July of 2019 and was happy to be in a more social environment than my big, empty house, which I had lived in for five years after my husband passed away. I was glad to meet new people, and participate in a variety of activities. I found the staff to be supportive and lively. Gradually I began to take part in different programs, and at the same time continued my hobbies of painting and playing the piano. I have been able to participate in musical programs where I played for community sing-a-longs, and will be having an art show next week of my Chinese water color paintings. The Atria has brought me into a new phase of life, and made me feel I have much to look forward to.

I lhave lived in Darien for 61 years and moved to Atria one year ago. It was a warm and welcoming community. I am deeply impressed with everything Atria has done to manage the COVID pandemic. Hats off to the management and cheers to the staff!

I moved here one year ago t be closer to my daughter . I like the size of the community, the people are ver congenial and it is impeccably maintained. My cat Stripes and I are very happy in our apartment. I especially enjoy attending the live lectures and the variety of engaging topics. Most of all I feel secure that we are not going to get COVID-19 here.

I moved here 3 years ago from New Canaan. It was my choice to come because I was living with family. I was able to be on the first floor to take my dog out so it was perfect! I like being independent here and all of the lectures and activities they offer. The food is very good. The staff makes such an effort to keep us happy especially during COVID-19.

I have lived here for 2.5 years from New Canaan. I love it here. The people that run it are wonderful and I have made a lot of nice friends. It’s easy to live here and there is a lot to do if you want to do it. The food and staff are also wonderful.

We chose Atria Southpoint Walk because we liked that they offered an apartment with a separate bedroom, it was very convenient to where I live, and they also offer great activities for the residents. They do happy hour in their pub area where they could get together and be served drinks, they have a beautiful screened in gazebo, and a bus that takes people places. She says the food has been 50/50, but they do have a good variety. The best part about the community so far has been that they have had minimal covid outbreaks, so they are very consistent. I would definitely recommend.

I have lived here for 7 years. I moved from my home in Greenwich where I lived for 40 years. The people here are warm, friendly people. My apartment has beautiful, large windows and Am very comfortable here. My NY Times is delivered to my door daily. We are so lucky to have [name removed] the Executive Director does a wonderful job of keeping us safe and healthy.

Atria is a well run place with good management. With everything going on in the world there is a lot to do here. The staff is terrific and always ready to help. The residents are very friendly as well.

I have lived at Atria Darien just shy of one year. Atria is very thorough in everything they do. They offer an abundance of enjoyable activities. The staff is very responsive and very interested in what we do. I have felt very safe and protected during the pandemic. My family share in my comfort in being here and are also delighted. My daughter is a doctor and appreciates all of the communications from the Executive Director about protocols and safety.

A very lovely facility and hard-working and friendly staff from what I could see. The sales manager, I believe her name was [name removed] was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This facility treated my mom with the utmost respect and love. Each of the caregivers were amazing and caring and treated her like family. The environment was always spotless and provided wonderful activities to make her feel involved and productive. I would recommend Atria to anyone who has a loved one who you want to know is in the BEST Senior Living Facility I have experienced.

My family member did a respite stay at this location and still to this day talk about feeling like they were on a vacation. Lovely location and great employees.

It is hard for me to truly express my happiness in seeing the wonderful display of sushi that Chef [name removed] brought to me. I know my dear departed wife was watching me consume the feast. They go above the norm here and I gratefully appreciate it. My palate was so elated. Thank you!

I just toured their “contactless model” and met with their Executive staff. It’s a really beautiful location and one of the more classy and upscale communities that I toured for my family member. Also, the downtown Davis area is close and that’s nice to visit.

We virtually toured this Atria location at the recommendation of a friend. We ultimately moved our family member into another Atria location as it’s a bit closer to some family members but it was a tough choice. They have a pool here!

My family member lived at the community in their independent living. We loved that they have independent living, assisted living, and memory care and knew that our family member would be safe there. Such a sweet group of people at this location. Ultimately moved him into another Atria a bit closer to us and they helped us with the process every step of the way. Thank you for all your help.

My Mother moved into the community today. It’s been a tough transition for her but this team couldn’t have done more to make it seamless for us. Thank you so much. I am excited for her future here.

Overall great community...my loved one is thriving. Highly recommend. The staff is very caring and friendly.

The staff is are friendly and courteous, I'm always greeted with a smile and made sure I'm taken care of. I'm very happy here and have been enjoying my time.
