Atria

Mom chose to move into Atria Chateau Gardens in Willow Glen in 2012. She loved it there, but the landlord as 2017 holiday gift kicked Atria out to build condos and she suddenly had to move. The great folks at Atria jumped through all the hoops and got her moved into a new assisted living apartment at Atria Sunnyvale. A few years later Mom needed to move to memory care, and the great folks at Atria again jumped through the hoops and made sure Mom was fully moved into a beautiful apartment on the Memory Care side of Atria Sunnyvale that very night. Her care on the memory care side is first-rate, especially throughout the pandemic challenges, and she's very happy there. Atria has the best staff, best food, clean and bright and upgraded in both common areas and apartments (I wish my house had that much granite) and great activities. When you tour facilities, pay attention to the feel of the community - the basic vibe, the mood in dining and the activity areas. Atria feels like home.

I rather be in New York but, my family brought me here because they thought it would be less expensive. I have a nice apartment. It is very clean and kept very clean. Help is always near when i call for them. I like the activities like: Tai-Chia, and regular exercise. Move night are nice and short films we watch. I enjoy being with my neighbors, they are friendly and we respect each others privacy. I love sitting out front because I get to meet everyone coming and going. It's beautiful. My walking and active level has improved. Atria my sister went to a lot of commununities but, she liked Atria the best. She knew it would be safer for me here than home alone at night. The staff members that I am particularly grateful for are Care staff- [name removed] who is always cheerful & helpful, [name removed] is very lovely, [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are all very nice. I like the nurse [name removed] and [name removed]. The receptionist [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are all very pleasant and I like them as well.

I am writing this review for my aunt who has lived there for three years, but is not computer-literate. She asked me to share her views as she felt it was her duty to put her “two cents in.” She absolutely loves Campana del Rio. She believes that moving there was the best decision she’s made as a senior adult. (and it was a hard one.) She claims that the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is good, (and she is a tough critic,) the setting is beautiful, and the activities are fun and not just boring old bingo. And she respects their efforts to mitigate Covid 19. All in all, she thinks that the facility and staff sincerely care about her, and are doing the very best they can to ensure that her “golden years,” are exactly that.

This community is very well kept and clean, and the personnel is friendly. Current residents seem happy and are very friendly and social. During my tour, I noticed that they have a lot of social activities throughout the day.

I toured the Life Guidance section which is also known as Memory Care. While I was there the residents were having a garden tea party in their courtyard. They seemed to be happy and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. The rooms are nice and spacious. Since it wasn't a meal time I wasn't able to see the food, but I was shown the menu and the meals seemed great, there was variety to choose from.

My mom used to live in Newport Plaza. I would visit her often and I would always see her having a good time with her friends when dining, or when doing activities. I still follow the communities Facebook page and see that residents are still engaging in fun activities and it makes me happy. The environment at the plaza is very welcoming, the rooms are affordable and nice, and the meals, and the desserts are good. The care staff were always caring and patient with my mom. On busy days parking would be a bit tough, but wasn’t an issue all the time.

I went on a tour at this facility and was blown away by the professionalism, thoughtfulness, and cleanliness. All caregivers and staff were well trained, collaborative, and passionate about providing the best care for the residents. The staff was very personable and knew each of their residents very well. T As a student studying to become a future OT, I can see how much time, effort, and dedication is put into providing the highest level of care for their residents. I was extremely impressed with the monthly calendars and daily schedules created for the residents as it is important to provide opportunities for older adults to socialize, reminisce, and engage in meaningful occupations. Atria at Foster City feels like a big family. As they say in our profession, "Our clients are the true experts." In the case of Atria at Foster City, you can see the staff truly strive to learn from their residents to make this place feel like home.

What a lovely community while visiting the area I checked out this community. Possibly moving to the area and will need a great place for a family member. Prices seemed competitive. I heard great things about the staff. Plenty of activities!

Warm and compassionate staff

We toured six different facilities looking for a place for our mother. Found fancier locations but nothing compared to the feeling you have being at Atria San Juan. Residents and staff are friendly and welcoming. That’s exactly what I want my mother to have.

Excellent community, The staff is wonderful and it is because of them that Roslyn Harbor is #1. Lots of activities for everyone and all the residents are friendly and happy. Food is delicious and my loved one loves the movies and broadway shows.

I'm only 52 and I wanted to retire and move in :)

Atria is a nice comfortable place to spend your retirement years. No cooking! everyone was helpful and pleasant to be around. Most of the staff and residents make me feel loved.

I have been very impressed since first coming to this facility. It has all the space I need, wonderful staff and enjoyable activities.

I enjoy the dining, the people and the staff most of all. I love my apartment and the beautiful view that I have. I love the service which is very good, both medical and regular services.

I feel that the staff here tries very hard to plan activities for us that are enjoyable and appropriate.

Enjoy living here at del sol. All the staff especially the care staff and so friendly. The staff is always looking for things that are more enjoyable for the residents i especially enjoy the entertainers and live music. Also, love how beautiful the grounds are outside.

I have found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant. my room was cleand once a week the bed was made up with clean sheets and the bathroom cleaned.
