What we really like about Atria Carmichael Oaks is how friendly the staff members are and the facilities it offers. Based on our experience we would recommend Atria Carmichael Oaks to other families.

From the moment you enter the Village Green there is a pleasant smell, cheerful atmosphere, and you are greeted by whomever is at the desk. Without asking, they know who I am and who I am coming to see. There is an easy going atmosphere absent a lot of rules. The overall size of the facility is perfect for my brother. Other facilities I visited were very large, difficult to navigate, seeming somewhat impersonal. The Village Green is only two years old and is well maintained. There are three room choices which would seem to accommodate the needs of many. There is ample parking and easy access to the Wantagh Parkway. Staff is very accessible. Like many places, there seems to be a staffing shortage at times. They do advertise for help and you do feel they are doing as best they can When my brother was admitted he could barely walk, was confused and didn't know how to dress himself. In less than three months, he hardly needs a walker, communicates well and is handling many things on his own. He is almost like his old self (which is not necessarily a good thing for us!) LOL. He was 98 lbs. upon entry and now weighs 110lbs. Village Green has levels of care ($[removed] additional for each level) So, there are no surprises. I was taken aback that each facility toured with tacks on a "community fee" equal to one month's fee upon moving in. Most did not mention that until I knew enough to ask. Village Green waived this fee. I am only 10 minutes from Village Green which makes the "emergency" requests from my brother tolerable!

Everything is excellent. We should not have to use a minimum of two hundred characters to say one word, EXCELLENT! You can’t expect us to sit and count characters. I have no more words to write. Have a good day.

I would recommend Canyon Creek to all my friends. There are 2 meals a day and a bistro for lunch. There is also a good variety at meal time. They have a great community with multiple activities. It is a great place to live.

Atria Las Posas again, was a very nice community but it was too pricey. The tour guide was great, and very informative about the facility.

I can wholeheartedly give Atria Aquidneck Place a 5 on each category..... We were blown away by them!!! They truly deliver! What we recognized prior to Mom moving in was a sense of family. We were somewhat jaded at that point and wondered if it was just another dog and pony show. After moving her in and getting her settled, we now know that the Atria staff, from the Executive Director to the maintenance person, are all in. Meaning each and every staff member is part of Moms new extended family. A sense of joy is present.

The staff way very friendly, and it was really clean and the food was good. I also was very impressed with another community, but we just chose Atria because it was closer. She was only there two days and transitioned but while she was there it was great. I would recommend to others.

My loved one was a resident at Atria Bay Spring Village. It was great. The staff was very friendly and supportive. The quality of the food was good, but the salt was too much.

The director of memory care, [name removed], is fantastic. So helpful and professional and warm toward all residents , staff, and families. Staff are friendly. Big plus here is only 12-15 residents per floor in this 2 story building, with each floor offering a restaurant area & activities room. Also, wonderful to have an outdoor central garden area so residents can get fresh air, sunshine, see flowers, anytime without requiring supervision. Note: no stairs available between floors-only elevator operated by caregiver code. A good safety measure, but my mother was a bit claustrophobic in elevators & still mobile enough to love using stairs. Not an issue for most residents. Very knowledgeable sales rep, [name removed], is quite helpful in learning about all options at Atria Hacienda. I do appreciate when they include my mom in activities on the assisted care wing, as she needs this extra stimulation at her stage of cognitive ability. Some of the daily memory care activities are not enough to occupy her or keep her productively engaged.

Moved my father in to the Atria and from that first day they welcomed him with open arms. Made friends immediately and started partaking in many of the activities. He really enjoyed the meals and all of the staff were very caring and friendly.

I visited this facility with my coworker to volunteer and every single faculty member I encountered was treating the residents with kindness, care and respect. The Director of Life Enrichment, [name removed], was kind enough to give us a tour and teach us more about the Village Walk facility. They have a full itinerary of programs for the residents throughout the day including board games, Musical experiences, Movie nights and so much more. We were lucky enough to get in on the fun of BINGO which everyone seemed to enjoy. I also thought it was great that they have multiple trips the residents can sign up to partake in which included museums, restaurants and even Dave and Busters! Based on my observations I would say this is an excellent facility and somewhere I would recommend for a loved one.

The staff members are absolutely amazing to work with. Everything there is so caring, if our loved one needs anything or has a question they are always right on top of it. The cleanliness of the community is also fantastic. There are plenty of activities for the residents to do, when we come to visit they have a big board that shows different things going on. There are card games, and board games that our loved ones like to do. There is a little bit of something for everyone. It is a very very good place and we would absolutely recommend to other families.

Our host [name removed] gave us a fantastic tour and overview of the facility. He was very pleasant and friendly. We have looked at a few places and this one exceeded our expectations. We hope to make this place a home for my Father in the upcomming months.

In [date removed], my 97-year old aunt fell at home and broke her arm. After a long rehab period, we insisted she move into an assisted living center. We discovered ATRIA Forest Hills, and could not be happier with our choice. Although resistant at first, my aunt very much warmed up to the community. Her health and mental attitude have drastically improved, and she's very much back to the woman I knew and loved before her fall. We are deeply indebted to the staff of ATRIA for being so welcoming and supportive, and for giving my aunt the comfort and dignity she deserves.

Atria Park of St. Josephs is an excellent place, they get a 10 out of 10. I would tell others who are looking that it is easy to get to, they have plenty of parking available, and the inside of the facility is neat and clean. The staff are professional and courteous. I would absolutely recommend Atria Park of St. Josephs to anybody looking.

What we really like about Atria Willow Glen is that the staff are caring yet professional atmosphere of all levels of staffing. The community opportunities for residents. The friendly environment of the community. Based on our experience so far we would most definitely without hesitation recommend Atria Willow Glen to other families.

I cannot express just how happy I am to have my dad at Atria. All the staff go above [name removed] and beyond to meet his every need. The nursing staff appear to genuinely love their job. [name removed], the head nurse, is unequaled in her commitment to and love shown to her patients and families.

We toured Atria Park of Sierra Pointe and it was great! They showed us around the facility very well, did a great job giving us our tour. The cleanliness and friendliness were great, also!

I hope I am in the right place. I have lived at Atria for four months now. I feel like I died and went to heaven. I wanted to be near the pool for my water exercises, I am near the pool. I am near the mailbox. I am near the office and best of all the dining area. Chef [name removed] makes the best meals (healthy meals). I am eating more often and losing weight. The grounds are kept so beautiful. The maintenance crew is excellent! I love the housekeeping! I feel safe and very well taken care of.

The tour experience was the highest, 5 stars. Atria's non-memory care section is very nice. Had my mother not had memory issues, I would've liked to have her there, from what I saw in the tour. The memory care area, doesn't hold a lot of residents. They want the M. C. resident to be fairly ambulatory. I would've liked my mother to be a resident there, from what I saw during the tour. Unfortunately my mother has 3 very slow healing wounds on her calf. An outside Wound Care Nurse came twice a week to care for them. Atria felt they were not a good fit because of my mothers wounds.
