i cant believe this place was awarded best memory care in evesham! The facility is clean, food decent but care is fair to poor. there is not enough staff. Many times there is no staff around. some of the staff are excelent, most are fair to poor. management doesnt seem to notice what goes on. many of the care partners are not involved with residents. Activities are mainly for higher functioning residents who are totally independent. They do bring in entertainment.

Not very pleased with this community. My father fell within the first 24 hours of moving in and fell again 10 days later. The staff was not very friendly and they did not inform me when changes would happen with my father's medication. The community is clean and the social director was great!

Sorry to say that there is a lack of care of the Dimentia patients. Dangerous behaviors are tolerated and brushed off as if they are used to it. Doors are locked and staff can not find keys...scary fire hazard. On a positive note...great activities and beautiful grounds.

The staff allowed visitors into the facility even after lockdown orders were imposed, if they insisted. My relative is now in the hospital with COVI-19. There was obviously insufficient training and supervision to ensure the patients' and workers' safety because such breaches should never take place. Someone from the outside necessarily brings it in. There are more than a dozen patients now who have the virus at Artis and several staff, and that will spread further in the days to come. Without testing it's almost impossible now to guarantee safety, since at the outset the staff failed to enforce the lockdown.

I toured Olney Memory Care, and thought it could be a good fit for my parent. The marketing director, [Removed], seemed knowledgeable. She introduced me to [Removed], the Executive director, and I was impressed with her background and experience. [Removed] asked if she could follow up with me by phone in a few days, and I said sure. Never called or contacted me. After several weeks, ready to make the move, I called and spoke with [Removed]. She was responsive to my questions, and said [Removed] would follow up. Again, no word from [Removed]. I email her, and she replies as if we have never spoken previously. After refreshing her memory, [Removed] asks if I would like her to arrange for the nursing assessment. I state that I would, and again [Removed] goes MIA. She reappears several weeks later, no mention of her lack of responsiveness, and says she will call the next day to set up the assessment. And yes, no call, no email, no consideration. This facility is 4 years old and has never been full. At over 8K/month, they are priced at the upper end when compared with the competition. If you are this unresponsive with potential residents' families, what happens after people have invested tens of thousands of dollars? Someone familiar with this facility told me they only want to admit more independent residents. If that's the case, be honest and stop playing with peoples' lives!

This place is so unsafe. Not enough staff in the building all around and the residents can just push the doors open and fall down the stair case if the keep pushing a few times. They can even get outside, so dangerous and worrisome. When I walked the halls with the sales woman all the residents were on top of each other in the one main room downstairs it was so overcrowded I was not impressed at all. Very disappointing for something over 10k a month wow. Very small rooms and not appealing. One shelf on the wall that the sales woman was so proud of and not sure why!

Place looked nice. Room was small but had 2 windows. They claimed to have a lot of options for food, but brought two options out to choose from. When mom needed soft food, they didn't bring it unless I was there specifically asking for something. They had to dine with the people from their hallway, which many were loud and overwhelming, and others didn't talk. The care plan was not followed resulting I believe in another infection. I found a resident on the floor, and had to find a nurse. No cameras allowed which hindered the safety of my mom. Slippers went missing day 2. The day I pulled her out, her bathroom was disgusting. The directors were caring and compassionate.

My husband was a resident at Artis for 1 month in 2024. He was diabetic and had severe dementia. We were told when we toured the facility that they serve Mediterranean style food. One meal I saw consisted of a hot dog on a plain white bun with potato chips, baked beans and a glass of juice. Definitely not healthy for anyone let alone a diabetic. I mentioned the food several times but nothing changed. The thing that caused us to remove him was when I went in one morning he was sitting on his bed with just a bottom sheet. I asked a helper where his bedding was. They found it in the locked laundry room clean folded up on a shelf. The first time I visited after a few days I found in his closet a stack of about 8 towels. My husband never wanted to leave his room so I know he didn't take them from other residents. He was miserable and just sat in his room. My son brought him home that day. No one questioned who he was or when he'd be returning him until 2 days later. So A PLACE FROM HELL.

We visited this facility which had come highly recommended to us. At first glance it seemed very sterile and not very welcoming. It was quickly apparent after talking to a few of the residents and touring the facility that the residents were not kept busy, not kept mentally or physically engaged. The residents were sitting alone without any sort of activity nor entertainment. The residents looked sad and depressed. A few of the residence expressed that all they do, all day everyday is sit with other residence or by themselves with absolutely nothing to do. Also, the dining room area was full of flies. In my opinions, I would not recommend this place to anyone that is looking to have a family member well taken care of and not feel that they have been discarded.

Artis came highly highly recommended by the gentleman that was working with me from A Place For Mom. After interviewing different places we decided to send her there. Unfortunately, things went awry and it seems almost all of my mother's winter clothes got taken / stolen/lost. They left her with no winter coat, boots, hat, gloves, scarves, winter pants, winter sweaters, winter clothing. I had hired a company called [removed] to transport my mother to and from doctor visits and the woman who worked for them and who drove my mother told me that on a [date removed] day she went to pick up my mother and my mother had shorts on. And a second time she went to pick up my mother, my mother had no coat on. I was never called and told her clothing was missing, yet they sent her out the door like that. I would stop in and visit without notice and there would be no toilet paper in her bathroom, no hand soap at the sink, and I opened up her closet and there was not one article in the closet, not one hanger, not one pair of shoes. When I inquired where my mother's clothes were they acted like oh they were somewhere around the place. It was a total lie. I moved my mother to Pittsburgh in my son's Ford pickup truck that has an extended cab on it, but upon moving her out of Artis all we needed was the back of my daughter's Nissan Rogue due to most of her clothing being gone. So I have nothing good to say about the place, other than yes, the girls that worked there were nice. And after treating my mother that way, [name removed] would call me and insist that we owed the balance to them but instead I hired an attorney.

Saw residents wet in unchanged depends. I really don’t understand these positive reviews. My mother rarely gets her medications and they are fraudulently mark ed as given. She also is supposed to get her blood sugar checked, which is also fraudulently documented. Unbelievable. Moved her out two weeks ago to stay with us where we can actually care for her. Stay away!!

I am warning you now. Artis of Lakeview is awful in every way. They will lie to your face to get you in and then you’ll find out how horrible and expensive it is. No amenities, every single thing costs extra, food is fast food, processed type food, indifferent and uncaring staff and rampant theft. We personally experienced all of the above before immediately taking my mom out. We found a MUCH better place at 1/2 the cost of this [removed]. Artis of Lakeview should be shuttered for sheer incompetence.

Artis in Yardley is a terrible place. When residents complained about how cold the AC was, they were ignored. The head of nursing [name removed] is a nasty person. My husband was miserable at Artis. I would NOT recommend this place.

Have had my wife there for over a year. In the last two to three months it has gone downhill drastically. You've gotten rid of a couple of administrators did not replace them. The general help known as AIDS or insufficient lazy non-conforming people. For what this place charges , they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves people that are left there should be given a discount. There's a few very good nurses still work there but the rest of the staff and help are horrible. You try to talk to some of the help about it and all they say is they're going through a transition time. If this one a transition time looks like then they should be discounting their fees The quality of care does not match what they're charging. I will certainly be looking for another place for my wife.

It's way overpriced and management is not responsive to concerns. If you or your loved one are incontinent, they do not address that. Some of the staff are caring and do their jobs well, but there's not enough of them to make up for terrible management and out of control expenses. The rent went from $[fee removed] to almost[fee removed] in less than a year (per month). Cannot recommend.

As you can see we had a horrendous experience at Artis. We were told that they serve a meditarean style food. Since my husband was diabetic we were happy about that. During the 2 weeks we kept him there I went several times during meals. He was served hot dogs on white buns, potato chips and juice. That's just one lunch. I mentioned to the staff that he was diabetic and they said they would keep an eye on what he was eating. The lunches didn't improve. The final day we left him there he had gone to bed with just the bottom sheet. They said the rest of his bedding was at the laundry , they were clean and folded on a counter. Every time my son or I stopped by he was sitting on the side of the bed with his head hanging. Needless to say I have nothing positive to say. If your loved one has dementia they can't fend for themselves and they're left alone. My son took him out of the facility and nobody said anything. It was only the next day that they called to ask if he was coming back. My husband died peacefully at home in October. He was miserable there. Please don't recommend it to anyone who needs to be taken care of.

This use to be a wonderful place for a family member. Over the last several years I have seen a sharp decline. They are short staffed, have a high turnover of staff and leadership and seem to not be up to date on what residents need or are scheduled for. Unfortunately this is no longer the place for us.

Understaffed. They do not employ CNAs. They have 2 “care partners” per 18 residents. Not enough. Lack of supervision on weekends and at night. Director of Nursing worked relaxed office hours. Even during a Covid break out, she was MIA. Director of location was like a used car sales guy. She put pressure on before we even moved in. Loud mouth and very aggressive. After Thanksgiving, they allowed COVID to spread throughout facility. It was only after I learned from resident Covid was in the building did they put up visible sign on front door, but it was partially covered by Holiday wreath. I observed Residents who were crawling on the floor, walking bear foot and my poor mom was regularly left in her room alone. I paid extra for incontinence care and on several occasions her room stunk of urine and she was very wet. I got into screaming matches with the Director of Nursing who challenged me about my concerns about my mom’s wet pull-ups. So not worth the cost.

I have nothing good to say about Artis. My husband is virtually non verbal and has uncontrolled diabetes as well as Alzheimer's. We were told they serve a Mediterranean diet. In the 2 weeks he was there I witnessed 2 lunches they served him. One consisted of breaded fish with french fries and creamy cole slaw. If I hadn't been there they would have given him fruit punch to drink. The other lunch consisted of a hot dog on a plain white bun with canned beans and potato chips. I had visited him on a Fri. afternoon and his bed had only the plastic mattress protector on it. There was a sheet in the closest. They said everything was in the laundry. When I went back the next day his bed had just a sheet on it. When I questioned a helper they found his comforter in the laundry room folded up (clean) on a counter. I left the place in tears. We removed him from the facility later that day.

My mom was previously a resident at Artis. When she needed help, only certain staff would help. One time, someone even said no and sat down and went on their phone.
