Artis Senior Living

This is a wonderful community! They have great staff, who are very helpful. They were able to make the transition for my loved one and family a bit easier. There are two entrees the residents have a choice of two entrees. The meals are good. The staff communication with the family has been very good when we have questions about our loved one. Overall, I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

It's a brand new facility- opened in May. So they are only 1/2 filled now, which means when a resident arrives they get a lot of attention and the staff get to know them as individuals. My loved one has medical needs and they have a full time nursing staff which was very hard to find. They have an in house doctor so I only need to take him to occasional specialists. Until now I've had to cover so much of his care - for several years. It has been a great relief to have him here.

My friend has adapted very well. The doctors there are pretty good. The value for the money is very fair. There is no issues, and they take care of my friend. Artis went above and beyond, and they thought he would be a good fit. The staff is very accommodating. They are well-staffed, and they are able to maintain care for the residents one on one. They are very intuned with residents.

They are very nice. I am very pleased. They call if there is any problems. The food looks very good, compared to other places. They have very nice activities. We picked this community because it was the best, and my spouse would have the freedom to move about, and the people were friendly. I would recommend to other families. It's been a good experience.

While I 100% knew that I was moving my mom into memory care, one thing I didn't realize before she moved in was that the other people who live there have pretty bad Alzheimer's/dementia. My mom was still social and able to have conversations, but there was nobody for her to talk to. It's a wonderful place though. The staff are caring and great. Just be aware of your loved one's functioning level in relation to the other residents. If your loved one is on that journey of more advanced dementia, it would be a great place for them. Olney handles dementia care right, and I wholeheartedly recommend them. There was nothing about them I didn't think was great.

We picked this community, because it is beautiful, and give my parents a lot of digninity, and atonomy. It would be nice to have more outings off campus. Overall, they are doing well with, the general care, compassion, and respect. That is very excpetable. I love the physical setting, courtyard, and ability to walk outside. My loved ones can do a 20 min walk outside. I would recommend to other famiies

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Artis. I’ve been to a lot of nursing homes, and this is by far probably the best that I’ve been to. Really everything stands out - it’s just a wonderful facility. And I’m very happy my friend is there.

This is the best place you can find for your loved one to be. The staff are very kind, and they specialize in memory care for the residents in the community. The staff communication is very good when the family has questions about our loved one. There are three meals a day served and the resident's have choices to choose from.

Five across the board. The team was great and very supportive! The staffing ratio to patient seemed to be adequate, unlike other facilities which provided appropriate oversight of my dad. Grounds were beautiful and open for the patients to have some level of freedom.

We had a very positive tour experience with Artis of South Hills. The people were all super friendly and have been great with following up with us still to make sure we are happy where we are at. I just did not get the " warm fuzzy feeling" I was looking for when I walked in. It just was not the right fit for us.

We picked this community, because we had a very good feeling, and it was a good fit for what we needed. It was a posivite experience, and we were very happy. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

It is very expensive and they raise the fees with little notice. I would recommend Artis Senior Living of Yardley as long as you are able to afford it. Just be conscious of those extra fees.

Everything has been great so far, the only complaint is that they do not provide rides to Dr. appointments .

My loved one likes the food, and is very engaged with the activites. The value for the money is reasonable. I am thrilled with the support, that we are receiving. I would recommend to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and the Artis tour was great. Very impressive. But it's all memory care, and we didn't feel like that was what my mother needed. That's one of the reasons we chose [community name removed]. Even though my mother has some dementia, she can be accommodated at [community name removed].

I have only been to the home since I love out of state, but my siblings who live in Cincinnati seem to like it. Our loved one seems to be in good spirits and looks much better and is safer than when he was living at home. He has so many more activities to participate in, sees more people and interacts with them and has someone to look after him all the time.

The transition was easier than expected for my loved one and for us. The activity there has been good for her and has given her some independence she couldn't have at home. I do feel she is well taken care of. We still have our share of "bad" days but have learned how to talk her through them. This is a cruel disease and every day is still heartbreaking for us but it was the right decision. On another note when I made the contact with A Place for mom I had no idea how much they would help us. They made this process so much easier. Can't thank them enough.

Artis Senior Living has been a wonderful experience (we had been harassed and abused at a previous community). Artis is professional, caring, and have been helpful with everything. Based on our experience we would definitely recommend to others!

They are great to work with understanding and since my mother in law has been there her memory seems stable all due to proper medication distribution and monitoring. The chef is great. All the people are giving.

My mom who's in their memory care has been very happy here. They have always been very accommodating to things she needs and helpful in suggestions on how to help make her more comfortable. I feel very supported at Artis. Some of their activities include group classes and outings. With memory care, my mom doesn't enjoy some of the activities because she feels everyone gets too wild, but she does really enjoy the outings. She gets to go out and see the city. Simple things like going to McDonald's, is very enjoyable to her. They have sing-a-longs, music, and exercise classes. Those are not so much up my moms alley. She mostly she likes to socialize, so anything that allows her to socialize and do the activity is great, but not so much when the main focus is the activity. Overall, I would recommend Artis Senior Living of Lakeview to others!
