They are trying to fill the building, so there are a lot of things they say they do that they don't do to the extent you think they will. They offer transportation free to and from Dr. appointments, they say just schedule it, and let us know. When we got there we found out it's only available Monday and Wednesday, and only from 9-2. They only have one driver and she is the activities director too. They didn't have me sign the contract until we were almost 3/4 of the way moved in. There were things in the contract that had I known, I might have made another decision, things like we would have to have a medical reason to move. You should be signing the contract when you put the deposit down and not waiting until you've already moved furniture in. It's beautiful, and clean, but they have limited amenities. They only want you to move in on certain days, that was frustrating.

Greg explained options at Heritage Park very well. However, he didn't give me a ball park figure on what the nursing costs would be. It seemed like the building was a little crowded. The apartment size was nice, but I'm concerned about the cost.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for my loved one. This was a nice enough looking community. The staff we met were all friendly and it seemed well run. We didn't quite like the feel of this community, however. It didn't have an atmosphere we felt my loved one would be comfortable in, it felt too clinical.

It is still early - time will tell how well Mom adjusts. Staff has been great. Could have been a bit more structured around the transition process, but we got there.

Overall I think they do a good job here. It's a nice looking community, and it is generally clean and well kept. The rooms are a good size, and we like that there are doors into a courtyard type area. They could use a bit more greenery outside to make sitting in the courtyard more pleasant. The care and activities are both areas where they could use a bit of work. They are a brand new community, only open a few months, and I feel like they are still settling into their routines.

Met with Kara Leek. Since no independent living offered, residents likely to need more care than at some places. Upside MD and nurses on staff a plus. Apts and storage were spacious. Common areas light and pleasant.

garden home layout is ok. Wish it had wood floors. Sunroom small. Size adequate.

This was a wonderful facility. The facility was very clean and bright. I was really impressed with the memory care area.

Extremely impressive place.

Visited with director. Pleased with what I saw. This is probably the place.

POSSIBLITY LIKED CLEANLINESS, WOULD PREFER LARGER ROOMS

When searching for a place for my father, we toured Bethany Village Assisted Living. I do not remember much details about it, but based on, my father's situation, it would not have worked out for us. It was a nice place, though.

We are staying temporarily at the Rosegate and so far it has been good. The place is comfortable and all of the staff are very nice. The place is clean, for the most part. It is an older complex so there are certain things that need to be replaced. They have a lot of activities and outings available.

This community did not have a room available in their long term care unit. The assisted living area did not have the staffing to care for mom properly while she was staying there. The food is a little expensive and did not taste that good. They started eliminating the choices of food options after mom moved in. They do offer a cafe for the staff and I thought the food from there was better than what mom was receiving. We did not always have good communication with this community.

My mother is very independent and sometimes the staff doesn't give her some of the space that she needs. She administers her own medications and doesn't eat breakfast there. The community wants to have her engage more in their programs. Her apartment is great and the staff is nice.

Felt mislead by sales. When we first went to rosegate we were told mother would have a room up front. Two weeks later (and day before mom had to move in) we were given keys to a room in very back of building. There was no way mom could get to meals or activities, however since we were in at her 100 days rehab we had no choice but to accept the room. We were forced to go spend $1600.00 on a motorized scooter so she would not be a prisoner in her room. We were told at that time by Mark that he would move her in two weeks. When two weeks came and nothing I went to him and he said it would now be a month and room would only be half way (still to far for mom to walk). Two times I was mislead by Mark so I am very disaapointed with him. Activities, Nursing and Kitchen are fantastic. I would reccomend this place just beware of being promised things just to get you to sign.

The staff for the most part,I would rate 3/4 I don't feel as though there is enough stimulation, interactions or activities. I've noticed that after lunch and dinner they're right back in their rooms, so I'd give that a 2/3 I've eaten some of the food and it isn't as described, so that would be 3 It looks clean but I've noticed odors lately coming into the facility, even the dining area on the memory care unit and in my aunts apartment, especially the bathroom and reported it to them so I'd give that a 2. Not a lot of interactions between staff and residents, so I'd give that a 2. I like her apartment it's very comfortable so 4/5 but i feel as though at least a fridge should be provided and with what it cost to live there and the additional fees for cleaning, laundry, etc these things should be rated higher, and the only thing that might assure that is more staff. Another thing that I didn't much appreciate was, I came in one evening and there was a guy up front singing and playing the guitar but the residents on the memory care unit wasn't up there to enjoy it. My aunt loves music so I took her up there to enjoy it ,which is the only way they're allowed to go off the unit. So if that be the case ,there should be enough staff to take them up there to participate as well. That was very discriminating in my opinion and certainly unfair for those that can appreciate it. Overall: just "so-so Cleanliness: zero(dining room carpet is disgusting!) Friendliness: Okay,[removed name], Activities director is "above & beyond" Quality of care: I'm in the independent apt. so I don't know much about this. Administrative staff: okay Food: Horrible Activities: very good Value: was decent the first year, now it's becoming a real stretch, several folks are bailing out, moving! Over & out!

Neighbors are nice and the staff likes to blame the problems on upper management. - My mother in law is the one who decided on where she was living. I am not sure at this point if I would or not recommend. If upper management was changed at this location and more employees were hired and not treated as well.
