American Senior Communities

I thought Beech Grove was a nice facility. My family member was in independent living and made friends. Covid makes it hard to evaluate what they normally had for activities. Slow response to my calls was biggest problem. I live over 100 miles away and would have liked to reach someone at the facility easier.

We like they they have been very responsive and supportive when we have questions or concerns. They don't hesitate to set up a group phone call with the care team to go over options and what is happening with my grandma. I'm sure there are probably areas of improvement but I live out of state and am not as aware of those to speak on it. Regardless, we have been very happy with her care overall compared to the last facility she's been at.

American Village was pretty and landscaping and outside areas, but the community was depressing on the inside.

My 86 year old mother has been receiving excellent care since the current executive director and her team has been in place at Anthology of Meridian Hills. My mom’s care is outstanding and she is treated with sensitivity and dignity. There is an “ sure, we can do that’” attitude with a smile. I recommend the facility highly and without reservation.

Anthology is a beautiful community. Staff is friendly. Lots of activities through out the week. Medical staff is fantastic!

People at The Meadows receive overall good care. The staff is more transient than I prefer which is especially hard on memory care residents. But there are some special workers that will always be remembered.

I would recommend getting your family member into assisted living as soon as you can. Before moving into Rosegate, my mom was really depressed about even leaving her house. And now, after moving into Rosegate, she's all excited about being there because of the activities and the people there. She just seems a lot happier.

The curb appeal truly is the way it is. What you see is what you get. It was higher rated than any other facility that we toured in Lafayette. They were very helpful. The food was great my aunt said. The only complaint was that if they do have deliver it to the room it is an extra $3 dollar charged. Overall I would recommend I have recommended this facility to 4 of my friends.

The Brownsburg community is very clean and friendly, our loved one is comfortable being there. It is in her home town so their is familiarity being there. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

They're close to a 5/5 rating. However, they have new management that has been slow to make sure things are kept up. For instance, the bus broke down and there was no urgency to have it fixed. Employees were parking in the front lot where guests park, so there were no parking spots for guests. That has been corrected, but it took having a meeting with higher-ups to get this done. Meals are not good and not worth the cost if a person has other options. (ie can still cook and get groceries). I am very happy with the cost of rent.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a really nice tour experience

We have had a couple of times when we needed to have some things done and they weren't done and the ball was dropped. This has happened several times. We know everyone is short staffed and is hard to rate due to this. We have instances where he needs checked on and not even certain that is being done. We have to remind them to make sure these things get done. Feel like they need to pay more attention to those residents that may need more help or reminders.

Our experience with Allisonville Meadows has been excellent so far. They have an on site physician that is awesome. Lots of staff.

This is a nice place to stay. The grounds are kept up. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are friendly to work with if we have questions or concerns. There are lots of activities. Some of them include bible reading, movies, trips to the store, church services, and field trips outside of the community for the residents to choose from. There is transportation for the residents to use for doctor appointments. Fried chicken is the best along with the calm chowder, and shrimp is good as well. There are lots of choices for meals for the residents to choose from.

What really stuck out to us about American Village was the friendliness of the staff members and all of the amenities that were offered. The apartment sizes at the facility are very nice and spacious. Their additional services were great if you take advantage of them. I would recommend them to others looking.

Aster Place seemed really nice. I liked it the best of all the places we looked at. The rooms seemed bigger, and I liked the activities better.

They were very clean in the open areas but moving into the room there were some things we had to clean. The community smells well also This is a really nice clean community and I would watch the billing to make sure everything is right.

I would highly recommend this community. It is more independent living but it is working for my loved ones.
