Toured two other communities and realized that most of them offered the same amenities and around the same rates so what finally nailed it for me was the staff. At the other two no one made eye contact with me. Very few staff members were smiling. They just seemed miserable. Walked in to Shallowford Elmcroft and it was amazing. Everyone smiling and seemed very happy to be there (residents and staff). Everyone made eye contact, smiled, introduced themselves (even the residents). You cannot beat the care at this community. The staff definitely stand out.

Wonderful place! My husband and I both have our mother's at Elmcroft! The staff is very pleasant and helpful! One mother is in the Chronicles area, and she receives excellent care. The other mom is in the senior asst living area. The activities are exceptional and the staff is very attentive! I would highly recommend Elmcroft of Kingsport to anyone looking for senior care!

I recently visited Elmcroft and found a very friendly and welcoming environment. The residents are happy and well taken care of. There are many activities for residents to be involved in. The food looked excellent. Elmcroft feels like home.

I had not been to the facility for a number of years so when I entered to visit a friend, I was absolutely, positively, astonished with the facility. From the first step into the lobby, and throughout the residence, the atmosphere was positive and uplifting. Some of the residents were enjoying a painting activity; pleasant smiles all around. Others were socializing over coffee and tea in the dining area. One gentleman was reading in the enclosed courtyard, enjoying his book in the quiet of the garden-like space. Anyone looking for secure and enjoyable space for themselves or a loved one need to carefully consider Elmcroft of Kingsport.

I’ve been impressed with Elmcroft from the first day that I visited the community. Staff is extremely friendly and informative. I loved the second wind dream program and the gallery of honor. Such a wonderful place. We toured Elmcroft of Kingsport in July 2019. The residents and staff was so friendly. The staff seemed to be top notch and the community is so clean. We moved our mother to Elmcroft of Kingsport in August and we wished we had helped her make the move sooner. She is so happy and I can now lay my head down at night and not worry about my mom.

I toured this community about a month ago and the residents and staff looked so happy. The director sat down with us and listened to our concern regarding our mother. The community was clean, staff friendly and its a live! We moved our mother to Elmcroft of Kingsport and we are so happy and so is SHE!!

Nice room Choices. 4 levels of care. Offers short term respite care at $170/day. price competitive at studio level. Need to get mom out to see it in September when we get closer to transition.

Great American House, they do not do the waiver program, so this is likely out! This was the nicest and the cleanest of those I have seen to this point. This also had the sohortest waitlist for the tax credit, if you were on the internal waitlist and approx 2 yrs external waitlist.

If you're seeking a community and care is your priority this is the community to choose. Hands down some of the best Resident Assistants in the business, that provides top notch care every single day!

Apartment rooms are a very good size and good closet space, too. Very good activities calendar, I compared it to another facility we looked at and they had more activities and more variety. Staff very welcoming. Very nice views of the lake from the dining room. Only negative is that the carpeting in the main areas and halls needs to be replaced. It is too worn and would improve the overall appearance tremendously.

Mom moved here almost a year ago and has been very happy. The room is larger and brighter than where she moved from and more reasonable in price. People are very friendly from the staff to the residents. The services are great the room is very clean as is the whole facility. The location is convenient yet seems like part of a neighborhood.

My parents moved in last April and are very happy. The staff and residents are friendly, the food is good, activities are plentiful and their room is the best of all places visited - has balcony with tree view.

Mom was only there nine days. The facility was well-maintained and the staff was friendly. We were very happy with the care she received and were grateful that on the day she had her heart attack that they knew what to do. American House Bonita Springs is meticulously clean and has an extremely friendly staff and robust schedule of events offered each week for their residents. Put this facility at the top of your list for consideration if you are looking for a place that will truly care well for your parent(s) as they age. My Mom has been there since they opened--she has made so many friends and the staff are so good to her. Don't take my word for it--visit them at one of their open houses and see for yourself!

The bright cheerful environment is matched only by the level of care they provide their residents. I simply cannot more highly recommend this facility. Eugene and all the staff there will truly care for your loved ones!
