American House

We've had an excellent experience. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They are extremely friendly here. The residents seemed happy here during our tour. The day my loved one moved in the staff were friendly and they continue to be. There is a new cook and they are providing better food than in the beginning. The food could still be improved upon for the residents. Some of the activities include exercise classes, bingo, arts and crafts, outside entertainers, movies, theme parties, religious activities, and more for the residents to choose from.

This was a wonderful experience. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. I was sad to have my loved one move out of the community for family reasons. The staff were excellent to work with during my loved one's stay. The food was good at first and the chef that replaced the chef that left wasn't as good, and the residents could tell. Bingo, arts and crafts, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to choose from.

Found AH while looking on the internet. It was the only community meeting my requirements. AG gas exceeded my expectations. They offer regular exercise programs and weekly outings for shopping; there are religious programs and health seminars.

The community is very attentive towards the residents. They are quick to resolve any issue that arises. They value their residents and are very caring. Bingo, outside entertainment, fieldtrips and more are some of the activities offered for the residents to participate in. My loved one seems to enjoy the food offered at the community.

I was very impressed with our tour of American House, in fact this facility would have been my first choice. It is set up very similarly to the place that we chose in terms of the dining area, activities provided, amount of residents etc. It is larger and I thought that would have been great for my cousin because I figured it would give him more of an opportunity to find people he had things in common with. I got a great vibe from them and really enjoyed the tour.

I toured American House and had a good first impression. [community name removed] had an additional license - extended congregate care - which allowed them to provide more services for residents. I chose another community because it was located closer to me and had more to offer.

I would recommend them.

I thought Beach House was a beautiful facility. We decided against it because it's farther from where we live, and it was more expensive than the place we chose. But for folks nearby who can afford it, I think it would be a great choice.

I'm very happy with American House. The people there are very nice. It's a great place for your mom or dad. It's close to where we live, so it's very convenient for us to go there and visit. Or if there's an issue, it's easy to drive over. And they've been very communicative about any issues my mom has. The facility is very nice and very clean. They have an updated setup. I would love to see them expand their gardens a little more to have more of a place for the residents to walk around. They have a nice koi pond and a little gazebo, but it's not expansive.

They could not go wrong at least checking into it. My loved one enjoys the Friday happy hour. She really enjoys her exercise activities like balloon volleyball. She has learned to play dominos and some card games. This keeps her active which we all appreciate.

We chose American House Cottage because of the availability of a unit at the time, the convenient location, and also the appearance of the facility, it was very clean. The main thing that I would tell others is that the management team here is very personable and helpful. I would definitely recommend to other families looking.

The staff do a really good job keeping the community very clean, and we were extremely impressed with the meals and dining service. Our loved one, due to her health, is not able to participate in the activities but they do have a lot going on, we are impressed with their variety. It is expensive but they do a good job taking care of our loved one.

Good tour, more assisted living style. Not what we were looking for.

I had a great tour with American House. I just did not find it as clean or spacious as another facility that I was looking into.

I chose Park Place because the size of the facility, there was plenty of space. Also I got referrals from some of the people who worked here and they said if they had to go somewhere, this would be where they went. The apartment sizes are very nice and spacious, I am very impressed. The staff has been super helpful, if I need anything they are here right away for me. I would absolutely recommend to others.

They ending up doing a trial stay for a week. There was a Covid outbreak during their week. So they did not get the full experience due to that. They thought they food was excellent, the staff were excellent. The facility was clean and well run. This is where my parents wanted to be. Food variety was good, flavor was good. Smaller portions but can ask for seconds. It's not inexpensive, not super expensive.

The facility works hard, collaborates best with the family to ensure that their is a good transition for my loved one and ongoing support.

We chose Anthology of Wildwood because of the overall good first impression and the proximity of the facility to our home. Mom loves the food that they serve. The staff is very friendly, caring and generous with their time. I would definitely recommend them, mom is happy here.

We like how close this community is location wise, it is very easy for our family to come and visit. We like how our loved ones have a villas as opposed to an apartment with an elevator, the villa is much more personal. Our loved ones take take advantage of the library and they have a bus transportation system. They are really enjoying the meals and dining service so far.
