Fantastic!

This facility is well managed and organized. Staff cordial and efficient. They do the extra mile to assist residents. The recommendations are very good.

It's a very nice community, The staff is very friendly. The food is good and they have a good variety. I would recommend this community to others.

The rooms and overall layout of the community is very nice.

The community needs more selection of food. It is a very nice place, and I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones. In the beginning they had a lot of turnover of staff. This was hard on my loved one.

We chose Elmcroftof Shallowford at the time because of the availability and we had a friendly interview with the staff members. The room sizes here are adequate compared to others we looked at. I would recommend to others.

The meals that they are bring up to the residents are sometimes good and sometimes not so good, and unfortunately due to COVID there has been no dining services. Considering the value, we would recommend this community to others.

We chose Atria at the time because the price was goo and the staff was amazing. I work in the industry, so the staff won me over. The grounds are also very pretty and the apartments are great sized. They are very knowledgeable and accommodating, but they have recently changed hands so I do not know how how the new management is so far. Overall, I would recommend the facility.

The food at the facility was not very good, we had to buy food for my loved one which got expensive. The rooms were adequate, and the facility was clean and well taken of. I would recommend this facility to others.

We really liked the wooded area that this American house Riverview is in. We got the largest apartment they had and it overlooks the woods. I would tell others looking to go to the back of the building or go where the front walk is when looking for rooms available. The activities director is awesome. During covid, when residents were locked down in their rooms, she was coming by with "hydration hour" and bringing margaritas to residents etc. The staff members and medical team here has been absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough nice about this place.

We chose American House Westland Joy Senior living because we had a mutual friend who worked here and she had recommended it to us. Her room was good sized, it was more like an apartment. The food was something that could use improvement, they could use more variety on the menu. The best part about the community was the staff members, they were always very friendly. I would recommend the facility but not the medical team, they were not good. They were rude and not very responsive to our needs.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating for the most part. We made the decision to choose American House because of their food. Due to COVID it was being delivered to their rooms. They have now slowly started letting the residents back into the dining room but the overall quality of the food has just gone down hill.

Friendly, helpful. All staff greet you, call you by name, many times. Always looking for activities to keep us busy and active. Open to suggestions. Have kept us posted regarding rules during pandemic and now we slowly are doing more as we returned to some activities. Come and visit if looking for a senior resident.

It is very comfortable living here. The employees are very pleasant and helpful.

I've only been living here a short time. Everyone on staff here is very nice. All are trying to bring Happy Times despite the virus.

[name removed] and I are extremely happy at American House! We love attending activities with many great friends. We love our apartment, I believe it's the perfect place for us! Perfect model, perfect location. American House has wonderful, cheerful staff. The staff is always helpful. There are three of us in our wonderful apartment. The third resident in our apartment is my service dog, Yugi. She is loved by all.

I have lived here for six years and it really feels like home. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have opportunities to interact with other through games and entertainment. My apartment is nice and having a washer and dryer this fantastic. We are well fed and if you don't like a meal, there's something else to eat.

I have enjoyed living here. The people are very friendly. [Name removed] has helped me with my computer. [Name removed] creative and decorated beautifully and thinks of crafts that we can do. I like the exercises that [name removed] arrived. I’d like more intensive winter aerobics.

I am satisfied and have been here since May 2016.
