The staff here are great!

I have lived here for 5 years. It was best when i moved in, with great food and good support. Thru the years this decreased, there was a high staff overturn. Then things improved. The administration is very good, and they mingle with the residents. I am very happy here.

I really like this facility. The staff are accommodating for what ever services whether medical or memory. I really like this facility. My loved one is actually here now.

The people have been extremely friendly so far, and the sales lady [name removed] has been absolutely wonderful. She has amazing since the move in process, she helped us move and even when our parents got tired she went to get them food. She has gone above and beyond what we could of ever expected. The first impression of American House was fantastic. Sometimes the meals are a hit or miss, but the activities are loved ones have participate have been really enjoyable.

Overall it has been good. Occasionally communication and visitation were a struggle. But the activities staff offers a full slate of activities, although I don't think that they actively engaged my loved one as much as they could have to get her involved in those things. The staff have been good overall, and it's a clean facility.

It's a place you can take your loved one and they'll be okay there. They provide a safe environment and take care of the residents' needs. It seems pretty clean as well. Some of the staff are really amazing, and some just do their job. But it's the best value I found around.

This facility was way to nice and overly fancy for my loved one. My loved one is just not that person that wants that feeling. My loved one is more into the rustic feeling. This was a nice facility however, similar to a five star hotel.

Overall we have had a positive experience with Elmcroft of Hamilton Place. There were things that needed to be straightened out but when I made them aware of the issues, they fixed them. I love the staff members here, they are taking great care of her. They do have a new administrator and she is very nice, if I have any questions or concerns she is quick to get back to me. The activities here seem to be good and my mom is participating more than she was at her previous facility. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

For the price it is a great place and affordable. They have Advisacare here, and this is the biggest issue. My loved one moved in during the pandemic, there isn't as much activity as we had thought. The dining situation is random and confusing for the residents, but we feel that this might be because of the pandemic.

We were very hesitant at first just not having experienced putting a loved one into a community, you always hear the horror stories, but this is not that place. They keep it very clean, they treat the residents like individuals and not prisoners, we calls the residents happy campers because they truly do look happy. Our loved one is really enjoying the meals and dining service, they give our menus every weekend with food options. Our loved one is limited when it comes to the activities but they are bringing them back and also hand our a weekly schedule showing whats going on. We have no problem with American House, they are doing a good job.

We had a good tour with American House East. We did not choose this facility because it seemed older and it was more dark and dreary which we figured would contribute to depression. It did have a very good price though.

Our family had an in person tour and the experience was good, the community was starting to open back up. We still had to wear masks and social distance. We were able to walk around and had a good feel for it, but we just wanted a smaller community setting for our loved one.

This was our second choice. The community was friendly and helpful. It is an older and smaller community. I was impressed by the residents at the community, and the community having a water cart for the residents. The only downfall is that it is too far to visit for us.

Because of the pandemic the community continues to have restrictions which is frustrating to have to always call and make an appointment to come see your loved one. Another concern our loved one has is sometimes the staff members are not quick enough or prompt enough to come help our loved one out with their daily needs.

The community was very accommodating during the move-in process. With the maintenance department, it has been hard to get them to fix things right the first time. The community is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this community to others.

We did not have to look at any other places because we liked Elmcroft of Hamilton Place after our first visit. The room sizes here are good size. My mother is in memory care and my dad is in assisted living but they are able to eat meals together every day. My dad is really enjoying playing bingo. I would recommend to others who are looking.

There are always extra charges so don't think it's the same price every month it will fluxuate. We have to initiate the communication and it is not easy to found out who to contact for what. The common areas are neat and clean and there are activities for the residence.

I toured Elmcroft of Murfreesboro in [date removed]. The staff I observed seemed caring, and the residents appeared content. Elmcroft's memory care area looks to be the oldest and darkest part of their facility, though I was told that the facility will be refurbished soon. Their memory care rates, however, seem to reflect the older condition of the facility, and are lower than other rates at nearby memory care facilities. The common gathering/eating area in the memory care area seemed particularly cramped. I only viewed a shared room in the memory care unit, and the blinds were closed at the time. The private rooms I viewed in the assisted living area were quite nice and had adequate space. [name removed], Elmcroft's Sales Director, was particularly helpful, spent a long time answering my questions, and followed up with me by email. Elmcroft has a psychiatric nurse practitioner who visits once a week. The caregiver to resident ratio appears typical for other memory care facilities, usually 2 caregivers for 12-15 residents.
