Absolutely loved the outdoor space, especially in the assisted living area, although there was ample secure outdoor space also for memory care. First impressions of staff were very positive, as was their interaction and ability to care for the memory care residents.

Very nice accommodations. Pricing is in the ballpark. Major drawback for us is the distance. Even though it may be in the desired 10 miles, the traffic flow to New Tampa is horrendous.

My mother has recently moved into this community and so far I have no complaints of how things are going for her. The staff are friendly and I am comfortable with the care they have been providing her. She has had no complaints about the meals and enjoys participating in activities from time to time with the other residents. Overall we are happy and would recommend it to anyone.

Mom is still adjusting to her new surroundings but so far she seems to be doing well. She is pretty independent and doesn't require a lot of help doing things. The staff seems to be friendly. She does not like the food at all but that is just her personality I"m sure there is nothing wrong with it. The staff keeps open and constant communication with me they provide me with feedback when asked. Overall I would recommend them to anyone.

Brookdale is a really nice place. It's located by a beautiful man-made lake surrounded by large pine trees. The room is lovely and it's a very affordable price.One thing that could improve is the morale of the staff. They seem to be rather detached.

My mother has made a smooth transition into this community and has really liked participating in many of the activities as well as the dinning experience. The only complaint we have had this far is that there should be faster response times with the staff. We have been waiting three weeks for her dishwasher to be fixed. We have also asked multiple times that her trash be taken out and it has yet to be done.

My husband and I stayed at Legacy at Highwoods for a respite stay and it was a pretty good experience. The staff was very helpful and accommodating during our stay. I think overall I would recommend this facility.

Everything there seems to fit my mother's needs. The staff is attentive and friendly. She loves her apartment and I am so happy that she will be safe with so many helpful workers nearby. She has been enjoying the meals and appreciates the option of cooking if she does not want to join the community for a meal. She especially feels pampered with the laundry and housekeeping services. We went to this community and took the tour. The staff was nice and friendly and they answered all of my questions. The community looked nice and as a whole seemed like a good place. We just found somewhere else.

The Brookdale Margate was nice and the people were all friendly, but it did not compare aesthetically to the community I ended up choosing.

The independent living side was very small, this community was more dedicated to assisted living. I wanted somewhere with a bigger group of independent living residents. The architecture was gorgeous and the woman was very frank about everything.

The people were all nice and very helpful with me. They showed me around and I liked the community. They were cooperative. The place just was not the right fit for me at the time. Nice residents as well.

I am very pleased with the my experience so far with this community, there has been little to no issues. The food is healthy and well balanced with good proportions. The staff are also very friendly as well as the other residents that live there. I wish they had some better communication with me since I have been in the hospital about making sure my things are okay and when I will be coming back.

The Brookdale Walnut was very nice but pricey. The place was clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and took me around the whole building during my tour. Overall a very nice place just not what we were looking for.

A nice community. a new and modern community. Seemed like they had alot of active people. They charged extra for physical therapy. Patients were monitored differently then what we wanted. It felt like more of a apartment experience. The staff was great, but this has more of a modern feeling then a homey community. They do offer great activities to help stay active. We would over all recommend this community to other families.

My husband is doing well here at this community. They have a good staff, I know he being cared for well. They do a good job keeping the community well-kept, and clean. They have activities available for the resident, and they have new activities director. He is pleased with the food, the meals are nice. I know he is safe and in good hands. Overall I would recommend this community.

The staff communication is good and they are very friendly. I would recommend this place to families. They offer many activities at the moment my loved one has not been engaging in them a lot but she does enjoy them. The meals are quite tasty and are of very good quality. My loved one is in good care and is most importantly safe.

I am looking forward to my tour of this community. They have more levels of care including assisted living. They have different room options from studios to double occupancies. The rooms offer a refrigerator and a microwave.

So far so good. I needed a fast move in and they had a special running at that time so it worked out great. There is tons to do, friendly staff, good food, so far good care, the apartment is a little small and awkward. The bathroom wasn't really designed with a wheelchair in mind which is odd and the kitchen needs some serious remodeling. There is a balcony with a nice view so that makes it a little better. But the overall facility has everything we need.

Nice location. Overall could use upgrades. Worn appearance. Nice size apartments. Reasonable prices.
