New, barely open but the ambiance is lovely with lots of art and open light. Lovely dining room. Still hiring. We loved it.

We chose Sonata Memory Care facility at Tequesta Terrace for my father. They are well staffed with highly trained personnel and the facility was very clean and bright. They offer many activities to keep Dad's mind stimulated and I feel he will be in good hands here.

My parents were at Legacy at Highwoods Preserve for a respite stay and from what could tell, it was a good place. The staff was friendly and professional. I ate there once and the food was excellent. Everyone was very understanding.

The moment I walked in to the community I knew I was standing in the best Assisted Living & Memory Care in Tampa. This community really understands customer service. Legacy At Highwoods Preserve has set the bar high for Senior Living. The community uses state of the art innovation in a modern setting to care for their Residents but never losing touch of a home-like feel. All of the people who work for this community are absolutley genuine and overwhelmingly compassionate.

They have been wonderful. No complaints about anything. They have been just incredible. The attitude and friendliness of their staff has been particularly impressive. The personal approach with the clients is really nice to see. The head nurse Linda is phenomenal. They were being cautious when we first moved from a rehab, and giving her extra care, but they were quick to let me know when she didn't need it anymore, rather than waiting for me to say something. It's that kind of care and thoughtfulness that is displayed by all of the staff there.

My mother has been there for almost a year. She likes her apt. with her own furniture and says it's comfy. The apts are much nicer than others in the vicinity and larger. She enjoys the movies every day and other events, especially bingo and art class. I think it's like a cruise on land! The other day she asked me, "Can I stay here forever?"

So far, our experience has been good. We did have some issues with billing in the beginning, which was fairly costly to me. It is a nice, high end place, which is what I wanted. The only issue is there is a lot of turnover in the staff, which means the same people we moved in with are no longer there. The new management really seems to be in charge of things and have done a good job with keeping the residents safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. They are good about communicating with us about my husband's care and let me know if there are any issues. The food is a little underwhelming. They do try to encourage my husband to participate in the activities.

After looking at more than 12 places all around the area The village at Heritage Park wins hands down. It is the best value for a luxury living facility. The main points for me were the backyard for my garden; my own garage; My own laundry room and the happy hour all of this for very competitive prices

my wife is in the memory care part of the facility so my contact for the most part has involved only that part of the facility. It's close, only about 10 minutes away, so I can visit frequently and get there quickly if there's a problem. My wife likes to get outside in the fresh air. They do have a separate courtyard for the memory patients. And when I'm there, they have a number of nice walking areas. In addition, my wife had originally been placed in [community removed], which is a memory only facility. It was quite a distance away, and after their last price raise, considerably more expensive. Originally, I was hesitant about a mixed facility in that the activities might be more focused on the assisted living patients rather than memory. I find that the activities at the Legacy are at least as involved for the memory patient as they were at [community removed].

Tequesta Terrace met my needs with same time dining at all 3 meals with a group of likeminded women. This is our social time to reminisce and enjoy some laughs. The facility is bright and cheery with light colored decor. There are lots of common areas for different activities that take place. Recently I had an issue and the staff addressed it quickly. All in all, I recommend living here in your golden years when you need a little extra care.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Yes, we would definitely recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

The staff is committed to providing a safe, caring environment for all residents. Their friendly attitude results in the residents being friendly towards each other. My mom is in a wheelchair so needs extra help and they never make her feel that she is a burden. They provide transportation for mom to her medical appointments. Since she is in a wheelchair that is extremely helpful.

The staff is wonderful. The only thing I found frustrating was the communication between the staff and hospice. I had to advocate for my father a lot when he didn't have the supplies or services he needed.

We needed a place to put my sister, with memory issues, for a short time. They were very cooperative and were able to give us a private room for Respite. My sister is comfortable, clean and her room is clean.

They just had a staff turnover of administrators. The aides are the same. Most of them are good and caring some are ok. The head lpn on the memory care side lacks compassion and is rude to some, not everyone I noticed. I just hope she's doing her job well.

Wonderful place for my parents. So happy we made this decision. They love it here! Staff is wonderful and the other residents have been very kind in helping mom and dad to get acclimated to the community.

The Legacy staff has been very supportive and helpful to my mom moving into her new space. The environment is clean and well kept. There are many social events to keep everyone engaged and make them feel like a family. The food selections are great my mom especially likes the soups , ice cream that is home made and dessert. I really appreciate how everyone works together for the over all good of everyone.

With 13 months stay so far our experience is good except for her adjustment to the new environment. I picked this community because of a referral from A Place for Mom.

I have only had a few meals there with my loved one and I wasn't that impressed with the food. It may still be too soon to judge. It is very nicely situated in a green area and has paths for [name removed] to walk both outside and in. She's in a one bedroom with a modest walk-in closet many of the other places didn't have that perhaps most important of all they were willing to take her in assisted-living versus insisting on immediate memory care. So far the staff has been extremely kind and helpful and understanding.

What our family likes the most about The Village at Heritage Park is just having piece of mind that they can call for assistance at any time. Very friendly staff that checks in on the multiple times per day. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
