Great apartment. Great atmosphere. A lot of age appropriate activities for seniors. Overall a very good experience. Only negative is you cannot add and incremental services like meals or nursing as the person gets older.

What I like the most about the community is that They offer several activities close to shopping. Yes, I would recommend Glenmont Abbey Village to other families based on the experience so far.

They are very attentive and truly care about the residents. They try their best to maintain employees in an industry that struggles to find good help.

The facility is very quiet (which I like), is close to numerous shopping experiences, and provides many amenities.

They're responsive, friendly, and helpful. Sometimes they feel the constrains of being owned by a corporate entity, in which case staffing shortages or priorities may feel underserved.

They were very easy to work with overall. The location was convenient and facilities well maintained. Staff were helpful and worked with us to accommodate our needs.

The staff checks on residents 3x a day.

Hanover Place is a nice place to live. Affordability is tight. Pricey compared to most senior living. Open, honest & relatable. I spoke frankly about my situation of why I needed to move, what I was looking for in an apartment & what I needed in services. [name removed], Property Manager, talked with me & my son honestly about what this community offered & how my husband & I could benefit from living here.

Overall experience a 4 because my mom did not get a buddy to help her adjust and learn where things were, didn't get invited to join people eating, like we were told she would. We were told no special discounts on rent for signing up, but now they are getting perks like that. Cleanliness-5 always clean or swing something being cleaned. Friendliness-5 Staff always friendly, so are residents. They all go the extra mile. Huge turnover in staff right after my mom moved in due to sale of property. But new staff great too. Quality of care - I change it to a 5. They are not caregivers as it's independent living but they are very attentive. Administrative staff- 4. Very friendly and helpful but in the monthly meetings with residents they don't seem to make changes requested by residents too easily. Unable to reach corporate staff for question I would like answered by them. Food- 5. Flavorful. Need more vegetables and request for bread,rolls at dinner go unanswered. Holiday meals are delicious and festive. Activities- 4. Same daily activities everyday. Games, Bingo, Coloring, that my mother is not interested in. I have made many suggestions for activities that are ignored. Outings to shopping too short. Disappointed in overall activities and frequency and type of excursions outside of facility. Value for money -3. Rent very high for 400 square foot room with no kitchen(only has fridge and sink and microwave). I moved my mom there so she would have transportation to appointments, social outings but scheduling doctor visits very cumbersome due to small window of availability. Few bus outings for the money paid. I still drive her to everything which is inconvenient to me. In my opinion there are people living there because they can't afford assisted living. For residents without their own transportation or family/friends to assist with same, do not expect the facility to cover your needs or wants at all times. You will need to have other options. (Even the facility says to use Lakewood Rides, etc)

I looked at several places and this was the absolute best in the area of town we wanted for the money we had to spend. This is my second time looking a place for my mother. I looked for the same level of care in another part of town 2 years ago. At that time I didn't really know what to expect from an independent living facility. Now I do! Wow. This place is a gem and a great value. On top of everything else, the food is several steps up from where she came from.

4 on all. It's a pretty good place to live. My mom likes it. It is expensive but everything is expensive. I wish it was a little less expensive. What my mom likes best is that all the apartments are all ground floor, have an option to have a garage, and have doors that open to the outside. She didn't want a larger indoor apartment complex.

I will say that being here is a lot of human and I thought it would be. I never thought I would like living in a community this size, but it has been a pleasure in a lot of ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The residents are really sweet and nice. I can say that I’m enjoying it more than I thought. The price is good but high, but I guess that comes with wanting something nice. In some ways, I wish it was a little less, but I guess we get a lot for what we do get charged. The one good thing is that we are supposed to not have to fix anything. It’s been a lot better than I thought it would be love feeling comfortable finally.

Hanover Place is a very nice complex. Residents are friendly. Minor inconveniences such as I was told there is a beautician on site one day a week, unfortunately there is not one and for people who have difficulty walking this would have been a welcome feature. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my choice of Hanover Place.

Its a very nice, pleasant environment. A majority of the residents seem happy. The staff is not efficient. The support to coordinate medical transportation is not available. Overall it is a nice place for older residents that are for the most part independent and can live without support

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, The office staff is also friendly and are glad to help. There are lots of activities and outing every month. They are also pet friendly. There is plenty security, all the gates wether driving or walking in, you will need a code. So far, I do enjoy everyone and everything

I was looking for independent living. Hanover is a 55 plus community. Since they do not offer meals or care services the rent is less expensive. I enjoy making my own meals. Tinley Park is very nice and I am close to everything.

This location is very relaxed. People here are polite a lot of Christians. Trips to the grocery store weekly and daily activities . Also there are fun monthly outings. It is overall a great place to start. It is worth a look. The price is a little higher than it should be.

The experience had been good. The staff is friendly and they care and are on concerns right away. We've never dined there. Due to not attending activities because they only have them in the daytime hours never in the evening. Some people that live here still work I imagine like we do so we don't attend functions even if we wanted to. The cost for what you get here is rather expensive and our rent went up slightly by [fee removed] dollars. I'm certain many of residents have moved out due to this probably being one of the biggest issues here . You could probably get a nice 2 to 3 bedroom apartment for what we pay here. And no lighting it's so dark in these homes I know ours is very dark. The charge for parking under those awnings is expensive for someone on a fixed income. And late fees are very very steep

The only food is the one served at events. There is gated parking at the back. It's convenient to the medical facilities near the TX Health Harris Southwest hospital. It's convenient to the Hulen Mall and Bryant Irvin shopping and dining facilities off I20. The rent is competitive for the space of the units.

Overall, I'm pleased with Haven At Lewisville Lake. I'm paralyzed in a wheelchair and there is little wheelchair access through the doors. There is no food except for the Friday happy hour. The best thing about Haven is the residents. There are 2 elevators but one has been "broken" for years. I can't evacuate if the other 30-year-old elevator fails.
