I have been receiving Home Again Senior Living Communities services in Winston Salem, NC for 9 months. These services assist me with tube feedings, bandage changes, showers, and some household chores. This agency is unique in that it is able to provide its services in 30 minute intervals, which, I discovered, no other agency could provide. The attendants come three times daily and are very reliable and trustworthy. [name removed], director and one of my attendants, is extremely caring, patient, and respectful of me and my special needs. She sees things to be done and does them without being told, a trait very important to me.

I have a lady here 3 days a week for 4 hours a day. They have been prompt and helpful.

We have been using SYNERGY for about 8-10 weeks now, and the caregivers themselves have all been very good, professional people. However, I am concerned with communication with this company. One of our caregivers called in ill, and we were assured that there would be a replacement. However, the replacement never showed up, and only when we contacted the company, did they tell us that the replacement also called in sick. We have also had a few changes in caregivers, and I hope the newest one will stay on for a while. Anytime we get a new caregiver, I do have to spend a considerable amount of time acclimating them to my loved one's needs, so it isn't very time effective to continuously train new people.

We are no longer using Synergy HomeCare at this time. It was a little pricey and there were some snags along the way. They provided companionship for my mom but they often left the house a mess. There was one time a caregiver left the house before the next caregiver arrived to take over the shift. Another time my mom needed assistance and the care giver was sleeping. We know that mom can be forgetful and sometimes mix up the time frames but we always tried to verify that the events that happened were, in fact, true. We had a recommendation from someone who had used Synergy HomeCare in the past and it was a struggle to get mom to have any assistance at all. We are just using part time help now.

My dad ended up not using this company in the end decision because they did not have everything my mother would have needed like the physical therapy. The staff where very helpful and understanding with my family and I. Overall it was not there care that was the problem it was the lack of options they had available.

The person that came out to the house was great. They anticipated a lot of my questions and concerns. They were organized and seemed very knowledgeable. I have a concern about one of the owners so I did not think this service would work for us.

I am happy so far with the care that this company has provided my mother. The caregivers have been on time to our appointments and have provided great quality of care for her. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone interested in a home health care company.

The caregiver that came out to the house was wonderful. She helped with the cooking, shopping and was a companion. She was sweet worked very hard and went above and beyond. We did have some issues with the manager as we they did not explain everything about how you have to agree to a minimum of a month of service. I felt they went around me and had dad sign the contract. We did have an issue with getting out of the contract even though we advised them they were not getting the care they needed. Dad did not like speaking to the manager [Removed]. I would suggest asking a lot of questions when looking into this care service.

It was a struggle at first but we have finally worked out the minor issues in getting the caregivers we needed. The caregivers we currently have are nice. Some do light housekeeping and one of them is solely for companionship and care. I would suggest asking the service up front if they are able to handle the care needs you are looking for. This service is better than others I have looked into.

The in home care I am getting for my father is excellent. He is getting the assistance from the care giver who cares. She is always on time and patient with my fathers needs. He gets the help that is needed with care. I do recommend this service for others needing good in home care.

The caregiver that comes in 2 days a week for a few hours to keep my husband company is very nice. We will be going out of town for a little bit but we will be using this service again when we return.

They have been good. If there was someone who needed more assistance, they would have to hire some more workers. I'm not sure how many people they have in their registry to pull from. We like the people we have now, but it did take some time to find a good fit.

After having home care for my mother in NC I was a bit disappointed here in SC. I've since been informed that the laws are more lax in SC as far as wearing gloves and such. Right @ Home has been lacking in communication. Caregivers have been very nice but move on quickly, so consistency is poor. Most importantly the caregivers are great.

Hello, I was able to briefly work with Synergy Home Care of Milwaukee County to find someone who could help my mother with some personal hygiene care during the week. My mother fell into a gray area of needed care because she can care for herself in most ways but in other areas, such as showering or cooking meals, she needs assistance. We met with Synergy to go over what we desired in an in-home care worker. My mother desired a worker that was more her age who could relate to my mom more. The first person they recommended was very young but very nice, and my mom liked her, but after the first week, she quit Synergy unexpectedly. Synergy quickly set up another in-home care worker but the second worker was also very young. Again, the worker was very nice and very helpful, but didn't relate to my mom as much as we would have liked. We eventually moved on with another company because of this. I can only speak on our experience but I would suggest that Synergy Home Care might want to hire more workers that can better relate to the person they are caring for. This will help the patient feel more connected to the person that is helping and reduce any uneasiness. Synergy Home Care as a whole was very nice, they just didn't match up an employee to my moms needs as well as they could have.

CNA was requested for facility, was provided immediately. Overall satisfied with the services and staff. Would recommended.

They seem to be okay. The person who does the driving for my mom isn't quite as good as the first person. The first person had a sick mother or something so now we have someone else. The first person was excellent. She was proactive and better able to manage my mom. This second person is a whole level below but it still seems to be working out okay.

I tried twice two different health aides and both were not a fit. The cost and the service weren’t a balance. The staff made the arrangements. The first aide I had to call and advice the person they sent wasn’t a fit due to her about to do the work. The other aide was ok the first two weeks and on the third weekend she texted me at 12 pm to advise she wasn’t coming in but the agency never sent anyone that weekend. I had to call on Monday to advise she never arrived. I had to miss work that weekend.

If you want consistency in your caregiver, Right at Home should NOT be your choice. Always a different person, not a good fit for an elderly or I’ll person! Office staff is nice but difficult to get all on the same page regarding instructions and requirements. Former client at this time

I appreciated the extra efforts management made to cover 5 days over christmas. They agreed to give us a refund for the hours that where not covered. We are waiting to recieve it. Im sure they would do better with long term jobs.

I received some caretakers that didn't speak English, a couple that didn't want to work, a few that didn't know how to help me out of the shower, but I have had a few good as well, they speak English and understand multi tasking
