They absolutely love the aide. No complaints there. I believe their only concerns have been around accuracy on the billing side, where the days charged didn't always match up what they had prearranged and what they received, and that required some follow-up. The agency luckily corrected the problems, but we definitely check those billing statements for errors! Overall though, they tell me they are happy they have the service and plan to continue. I would recommend their services with the caveat to check your statements to make sure they line up with what happened.

I would say the caregiver quality was quite variable and owners response to a significant safety issue was somewhat lacking I would still recommend and advise caution and oversight

Friendly staff, but keep in mind their minimum hour requirement so you maximize the work they do for you. I would and have recommended their services to others.

I selected St Mary’s because they responded immediately on a Sunday night. I needed a caregiver the next morning. Their name is deceptive as it is not associated with a church or religion. The director’s name is [name removed].

I had to pay a deposit that I understand other companies don't ask for. It was supposed to be refundable. I ask for it to be refunded and it never was

The caregivers, for the most part, were very friendly. Communication was good. [Name removed] was amazing because my mother's dementia was progressing, it was difficult for the care workers to know what to do for/with her. I would recommend them to others.

The only thing that seems to be problematic is the turnover. The first caregiver lasted 2 weeks. This new one has been here for 2 weeks and is talking about getting a full time job.

Home Instead is working on getting a better caregiver. The one we have now doesn't do much of anything and he signed with Home Instead for cleaning, laundry, etc The agency is great, everyone has been wonderful and has been very helpful. We also are very grateful for [name removed], who has been so helpful and patient with helping us to find the right care for our dad.

Communication issues at the start, but they are working themselves out It's costing my dad a lot of money. It's what we have to work with right now, and he's holding steady. So for now it is working.I have nothing to compare it to. I would most likely recommend with a warning of some of the recurrent issues we have experienced.

Home instead is good at the office level. The caregivers are hit or miss. Some are great, some are ok, some are just there for a paycheck. I would tell others to leave a detailed list of wants and needs with the binder. So no matter what caregiver arrives that fay, they can be informed as to your specific wants and needs. Their system is in place with that info, but it helps to leave specifics in the home for best care

I would recommend them to others. The sales rep lady was very very helpful in coordinating things and adjusting things for me. I had to adjust a lot, so it was hard to get a regular caretaker. I did not like the part of having four hours minimum every day cause some days I only needed a couple of hours. So, more flexibility would've been nice. But I had my back messed up and really couldn't get around much, so they helped basically clean the house and kitchen and help me fix my bed and change my sheets. Because I could not lift anything or barely move. They even walked my dogs for me, which was helpful.

Home Instead is good to work with. They try hard to meet scheduling changes and shortfalls.It was one that was recommended by A Place For Mom.

We used home care services through ComForCare Home Care for my loved one and the experience was very good. I would definitely recommend ComForCare to others looking for home care services.

The last three caregivers that my loved one had were wonderful, caring people. The care that they gave my loved one was tremendous. They were very considerate of her pain and needs. When my loved one could no longer get out of bed, they sat by her bedside and kept her company when family wasn't there. They took the time to have meaningful conversations with her. There was a temporary aide on one of the weekends that didn't work out as well, but I had called to ask that she not come back and the supervisor was very attentive to our complaint. I definitely would recommend them to others, but always remember that if a person is not a good fit to speak up.
