What I like the most about the community is the friendliness, and respect for me in all situations.

What we like the most about the community is that it is a clean and modern facility with a homey feel. The rooms are a little bigger than other places. The workers are very nice as well. Yes, we would recommend CountryHouse - Cedar Rapids to other families based on the experience so far.

Th staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. Apartments are super nice and it's a very nice, clean, organized place.

Great referral. We went with Astoria. I'm told I'm pretty picky and I have been real happy with my loved ones their. I would recommend to others.

My sister is loving The Kensington senior living house in Cumberland, Maryland the people there keep us very informed. If something happens to my sister they call immediately she got Covid. I was called and text within an hour of them, knowing that I can't say enough nice about it. The people are just so friendly.

Way under staffed, but those here are very good, kind and helpful. Not very good review on the food.

All staff are friendly and helpful. The meals are very good. Lots of fun activities to do.

We were always greeted by the friendly staff. It's a nice quiet location and a small number of residents.

1. My mother is very happy at Holland Farms and getting excellent care 2. Holland Farms is exceptionally clean. No odors. I have never noticed an area that isn't kept clean 3. Right away we were greeted by so many people. Staff and residents stopped to welcome us 4. Holland farms has been very attentive to all health concerns. They established a new physician for her, established physical therapy, and are able to take her to appts. The staff is excellent and always answers calls, emails, texts My mom loves the food so far. They have lots of options and have food available whenever it's needed There are plenty of activities and they have an app where I can log in and see all the available activities and what my mom has chosen to participate in. The communication is wonderful! Assisted living is expensive. That being said, this is our 3rd facility and the best yet, and yet it is less expensive than the others. They really do a lot to make this place worth it!

My mother has lived in 2 other locations and she is super happy here. [name removed] the nurse is awesome and really cares. The staff are definitely trying to do what is right. They are very kind and helpful with my mom. I am very happy and my mom is making new friends. She is really loving all of the outdoor areas that let her feel alive. She is happier than ever before.

The staff is excellent. They are patient & kind. They facility is clean & has a great outdoor space. We are grateful for them. (And for A Place for Mom for all the help)

He is very happy with the facility and its accommodations. The room layouts were the most appealing. Especially the larger kitchen area and full size refrigerator. Located in a nice neighborhood that is quiet

A lot of space in each room. Pleasant staff. A lot of functions going on. Movie theater. Nice walking area. I would recommend to others. Before we chose Holland Farms we visited 3 other places.

First increase at 1 yr mark was 9%, this inflation rate will not be sustainable long term. Facility is beautiful (only about 4 yrs old) & kept very clean. Staffing these types of facilities is tough but CountryHouse Folsom does a great job & the team is consistently great with my Mom. The Activities Director ([name removed] ) is amazing & does a great job helping my Mom engage & she has more good days the more she stays busy & feels needed so she is a huge asset. My Mom is still pretty physically able so my only wish is that there were a few more options where she could get more movement in but I know it's tough when trying to be inclusive to all 40-ish residents

The client, care giver ratio, is extraordinarily perfect !! She had such exceptional supervision . She knew the staff well, in her simple recognition, with patience, kindness respect and a smile !! Staff kept the out of state family informed, at all times . The coordinator staff person was always available with detailed reports for the families comfort and 100% confidence . Professional recommendations were provided and in consultation, when the time came for bedside hospice. Always a staff member by her bedside while waiting for out of state family . We knew Grandma was NEVER ALONE !! The general care, for activities of daily living , were so professional in experience and expertise. They accommodated, in every way, with our out of state family, a way to have special and private time with Grandma . The staff was so observant of weather conditions and safety measures always taken . 100% access to hydration.. So many positives.. I am elated to recommend this facility and the best experience, I could have only prayed for .. above and beyond our expectations . Thank you for this wonderful service to our beloved community of the senior

It's a beautifully designed and decorated place that truly focuses on the social aspect of quality living for older adults. One Friday I was there, there was live music and drinks in the main area and it was actually awesome!!

5s across the board. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff who go out of their way to create good experiences for residents.

I would rate everything a 5. Breakfast and lunch are covered in the cost. Dinner is additional. Single bedroom apartment has room for a queen bed. Studio apartments are quite small. Food is really good. No care is provided. It is independent living. Single bedroom apartments have a nice kitchen. Hope this helps.

I would rate all of them a 5. #1 the experience of having someone there was difficult but the staff made everything so much better. #2 the facility was always clean and never smelled bad. #3 All the staff was very friendly and caring. #4 I felt the care was excellent. The staff made sure she was as comfortable as possible. #5 the administrative staff was very helpful and caring. #6 I never ate the food, but it always looked good and varied every day. #7 the residents seemed to enjoy the activities. They always had a monthly schedule for both in facility activities and trips to restaurants and other places. #8 value seemed good, but I only visited a couple of other places. I liked that they did not have a lot of extra costs to add to the regular monthly price. I hope this helps. I would definitely recommend Astoria to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.
