The client, care giver ratio, is extraordinarily perfect !! She had such exceptional supervision . She knew the staff well, in her simple recognition, with patience, kindness respect and a smile !! Staff kept the out of state family informed, at all times . The coordinator staff person was always available with detailed reports for the families comfort and 100% confidence . Professional recommendations were provided and in consultation, when the time came for bedside hospice. Always a staff member by her bedside while waiting for out of state family . We knew Grandma was NEVER ALONE !! The general care, for activities of daily living , were so professional in experience and expertise. They accommodated, in every way, with our out of state family, a way to have special and private time with Grandma . The staff was so observant of weather conditions and safety measures always taken . 100% access to hydration.. So many positives.. I am elated to recommend this facility and the best experience, I could have only prayed for .. above and beyond our expectations . Thank you for this wonderful service to our beloved community of the senior

It's a beautifully designed and decorated place that truly focuses on the social aspect of quality living for older adults. One Friday I was there, there was live music and drinks in the main area and it was actually awesome!!

The facility is nice and the staff is very friendly, loving and helpful. They are able to handle actual advanced memory care residents. My mom was at another memory care facility before that couldn't handle her level of Alzheimer's.

5s across the board. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff who go out of their way to create good experiences for residents.

I would rate all of them a 5. #1 the experience of having someone there was difficult but the staff made everything so much better. #2 the facility was always clean and never smelled bad. #3 All the staff was very friendly and caring. #4 I felt the care was excellent. The staff made sure she was as comfortable as possible. #5 the administrative staff was very helpful and caring. #6 I never ate the food, but it always looked good and varied every day. #7 the residents seemed to enjoy the activities. They always had a monthly schedule for both in facility activities and trips to restaurants and other places. #8 value seemed good, but I only visited a couple of other places. I liked that they did not have a lot of extra costs to add to the regular monthly price. I hope this helps. I would definitely recommend Astoria to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.

I appreciate that they had enough staff to always have someone available. Everyone was always super nice. The bill I received was over the contracted amount but staff there assured me they were working on it and insisted I only pay what we agreed to, which was very nice. They called me several times to update me overnight the night my mom fell, which I appreciated. Mom did say the bed was uncomfortable but she was already in a lot of pain with her diagnosis. The room didn't easily accommodate the wheelchair she came to need. I really appreciated staff was honest about the ability to fit a lift in there after she broke her hip. I would highly recommend the Kensington. Beautiful place!! Food and activities were impressive.

I would absolutely recommend to others. Mom says the food is amazing and she's had great experiences since moving in. Mom is very introverted and they've done an excellent job inviting her to participate in activities. She's now meeting people and doing things she never would have signed on for before.

I don't have much of anything specific to say... we were only there for about a month and a half. They helped us through hospice for my[ age removed] grandpa. They were pretty wonderful. The only one small issue was food, because he was a vegetarian, and they don't really do vegetarian well, but it was to be expected. It's hard to cater to that. But they did the best they could. And toward the end, all he ate was ice cream. They were so kind though. We were able to stay overnight the last few nights so we could be right by his side, and they even brought us catering food (like strawberries, cheese, crackers, water, and punch pitchers, etc) when they knew he was almost gone so we didn't even have to leave his side to go get food.

This is an old school facility!!! Fully staffed 24 hours a day!! The residents are very well taken care of!!! They get a 10 in my book

I'm grateful for taking such good care of my dad. The room size works good for my dad. He likes the meals and is becoming more social with the activities.

I love the facility. Very clean and people in assistant living are cheerful and will talk with you. The manager is very helpful with ant questions. Can point you in the right direction. The medical are also just as helpful. We communicate regularly. Highly recommend.

I’ve been working in law enforcement for a little over 28yrs and don’t often get to see the good in people. After bringing our mom into The Terraces at Via Verde in San Dimas, I’ve been completely schooled at how well the team member work together, are in tune with one another and care. From day one they’ve treated us like all like family and mom is doing very well… she likes it! Thank you Terraces staff… we’re all thriving now.

Moving a loved one from home to a memory care facility can be challenging, as the approaches to dealing with the patient that previously worked may need to be adjusted. Open communication between the family and facility leadership is essential to identify necessary changes, implement them, and evaluate progress over a few weeks. I found Sera Sol to be good at this. By working together with patience and flexibility, the right balance can be found. In our case, my wife ultimately thrived in the facility—she was happier than she had been at home. We were able to reduce her medications and allow her more freedom throughout the day, which made a world of difference. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Cafeteria open 7am to 6pm. The food is awesome! The cost is about [fee removed] to [fee removed] less than the other assisted facilities I looked at. We would absolutely recommend Astoria Senior Living community to other families based on the experience so far.

They provide higher levels of care here than others we looked at. Food is great in the main dining room. The meals in the villa are cold and often they run out and my brother does not get all of it. Some staff are excellent and others not so much.

The staff are AMAZING. I have gotten to know many of them and I couldn't be more impressed with how much they genuinely care about the residents.

Let me be crystal clear, these folks are FANTASTIC! I could not be more pleased, would tell every single person to see [name removed] at Tre Vista! This group of people are professionals, who are ready willing and able to guide us through some of the most difficult decisions we make in our lifetimes. I can only hope that when my time comes, an equally capable group is available to help my children

I placed my love on in this location where the workers are so caring and professional. They work there because they want to provide the best care for love ones when families can no longer be the main care givers. The food is absolutely delicious with varieties to make anyone excited to eat. The desserts are like being on a cruise ship. The staff is engaging with the residents and families. There are fun activities, interactions with all residents and staff. The location is quiet and beautiful. My mom is always clean and in fresh clothes. Her room is clean and her bed is made daily. There is an on site salon and the stylist gave my mother a nice hair cut. For families, information and photos are posted to keep them in the "Loop". This facility has won awards and I can see why, visit for yourself and enjoy a drink or a treat.

We give the overall experience a 5 because of the health care workers. My husband was there for 6 weeks before he passed away. I thought he would be there much longer. Originally, I was thinking of another place but I'm so glad we chose Astoria. The staff made all the difference. It was amazing how much the assistants do. Our family will be forever grateful for the care and time they spent with my husband. It's only been two weeks he passed so I'm still working on how to deal with his loss. We decided to give a scholarship in his name. It will be specifically for children of health care workers whose children want to further their education by attending a trade school or college.

Its great! They are very hospitable, caring and competent community of caregivers, nurses and administrators. I give them a five star. My dad was very lonely and depressed three weeks later and he is smiling, laughing and enjoying himself amongst the people. The staff there have really helped him get back onto a regular routine and happy life.
