The staff works very hard for the residents. They care deeply about their duties, and are always cheerful and respectful. The cooks engages with the residents to make their needs enjoyable. The maintenance guy is very friendly, attentive to each of the resident’s needs. All of the nurse/staff have a lot of patience for each resident’s needs. Also the director and her assistants of the facility are very responsible for keeping the facilities running at a efficient level.

Can't say enough good things! EVERYTHING has been great so far. The staff and the other residents are so very friendly and helpful. Right down to maintenance. Super nice guy. Light bulb burned out? It will be replaced almost before you get back to your apartment. And the meals...really good. Clean? Could not find any dust even on top if ceiling fan! But the best part is that Mama is beginning to feel truly at home. And that's what really matters most!

The entire staff truly make this facility a family community for the residents. Everyone there is so very responsive to not only residents but also family and visitors.

Closest substitute for being home. Very loving and friendly atmosphere. Residents seem content and mingle well. Staff is very responsive to concerns of the families. The open atmosphere is delightful!

I am really glad I chose this community for my mom. She had a rough start settling in and adjusting but due to the helpful staff, she is doing much better. She is slowly getting into the social environment of the community making new friends and doing activities. Mom seems to be liking the food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them.

Everything is going just fine. The facility is very clean and the staff make my mother feel very comfortable. There are plenty of activities to participate in with other residents. Overall, we have no complaints about the Hopkins Place!

My mother loves this community, and she is doing great since her move to this community. I'am satisfied with her move here, I know she is in a good community. The staff is friendly, and have been helpful needed. She has gotten involved in some of the activities they have available. The community is well-kept, everything looks great when I visit. This is a community I would one hundred percent recommend, it is working out well for us.

I like the care here for my mom .The staff are outstanding and they keep me informed on her progress. The community is always clean. The menu is outstanding and they are famous for the good cooking and the variety. They had some small activities and the residents do socialize. We would recommend this community for the good care that my mom receives

We toured this community and liked the staff and we were nice and the community was clean. We liked the list of the meals on the menu that were appealing with a healthy choice. They had a good amount of activities for the residents who want to participate. We liked the atmosphere of the community and feel that we would have liked the care. This community comes highly recommended for families to tour for the care of a loved one.

My parents moved to Chisholm Place about 3 yrs ago. I can't say enough good things about this facility. It's a small community so everyone knows everyone in the building. The management and staff are nothing short of phenomenal. They care for all their residents as if they are family members. I've never seen a staff member pass a resident without talking to them and asking if they can get something for them or help them with anything. Someone checks on my parents every couple hours but if they aren't feeling good or have a special need, they check on them more often & assist with anything they need help with. Beautiful building, always clean. The food is great and served restaurant style in a dining room 3 times a day. It's a great place for social interaction, the residents truly care about each other as well. There are activities for a variety of interests, always something going on. Chisholm Place is exactly the kind of place I was looking for my parents to live. Well educated staff in every position as well as being extremely patient and loving. My parents have always feel safe and well cared for. But most important they considerate it "home" in every way. THANK YOU Chisholm Place!!!!!

My mother is living here and we feel like she is receiving the best care possible. The staff and administration are so helpful and we really couldn't ask for a better situation for [Removed]. The building is beautifully decorated and the grounds are carefully landscaped, so that she has a beautiful courtyard just outside her window. We are so happy and grateful that Abilene has a facility like this. [Removed] will be 102 years old later this year, and we feel like this is a really great place for her care.

My family is happy with the Chisholm Place facility and its caring staff. My in-laws have been residents for almost 2 years. The administrative personnel: [Removed], always take time to speak to us and make us aware of particular needs our family members have. [Removed], the activities director works hard to include residents in planned events, as well as spur-of-the-moment ones, her concern for each resident is obvious. [Removed] and her nursing staff take particular care with my in-laws and watch for signs they aren't feeling well, many times averting a crisis situation. Employees who take care of the facility daily operation are respectful and loving toward each person living at CP. I don't know if "an ability to be unflappable" is on the job description for employees, but to a person, the people working at Chisholm Place seem to have that quality. Grace under pressure and preservation of the dignity of each resident seems to be the philosophy of Chisholm Place.

I am a visitor who comes into the facility on a regular basis. The staff is always prompt to residents and visitor needs and are very caring. The facility is always clean and well maintained.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my loved one since she has made the move into this community. I am very comfortable with the quality of care that she is receiving from the staff and she is happy in her new living environment. My mother has been loving the nutritious meals they provide and enjoys participating in a few of the activities with the other residents. Overall we are very pleased and would recommend it to anyone.

I'am pleased with my fathers move to this community. He is doing good, and has adjusted well to this community. I know he is in good hands. The staff is good, and they have been helpful when needed. When we visit the community, and his room are neat, and tidy. Everything is working out well for us in this community, and I would recommend it.

My dad moved into these apartments and he is really happy there. They really do care and help him out.

I like the care at this community.y We are happy knowing that she is in a clean community. The staff is caring and attentive to her needs. The community offers a good variety of healthy meals and they are always willing to assist her special needs. They have a lot of nice activities that she is enjoying.

We are so happy with our choice! My Sister and I both agree this place meets all of Mom's needs and doesn't break the bank! Senior management has been a pleasure to work with making the move as seamless as possible. The community is small, clean, beautiful, and has good food too! Not only would I recommend this place I wish I could live here myself.

My husband is much happier since moving in. The care is wonderful. Everything is so much better from what we have seen in 4 weeks. He is active and participating in the activities. The nurses tell me he takes walks around and does not use his walker unless it is not a good day for him. He likes the residents and speaks to everybody there. I see he is fairly content even with his dementia.

The staff are really nice, quick to answer our questions and address our concerns. They are really good with my mother in law. The community is very clean and well maintained. She has not complained about the food and they encourage her to participate in the activities. They are quick to notify us and when I walked into the community it felt like home.
