Wonderful place, I am very happy here at Wren Place. Everyone is very friendly and nice to me . I love everyone.

I'm glad that we have a new director. Our nurse is fabulous. I like that when I go into [name removed]'s office, she listens to what I say. I like that they take me in the van to my appointments. I like the new furniture that we have already gotten and I love the new bathroom decor. I love living here. My puppies [name removed] and [name removed] have loved living here with me for the past 3 years.

Wren Place is amazing .The staff is amazing! Our mom is very happy and she can have her pets.

My grandmother lives here and loves it! We as a family could not be more blessed by the Wren Place and everything they have done for us! All of the staff and community members are so sweet and helpful.

I think that the staff and caregivers are very loving. They try their very best to accommodate our needs and wants. The community is very nice. Everybody is always friendly. I love living here! I've made friends and I've learned to play 42 since I have been here

Dad was diagnosed with a problem that was not even on the radar...The help and quickness of the response to his change in behavior made all the difference. The Admin and Nurse visited us in hospital and daddy loved the special attention. Thank you Bluebonnet place!

The Lucas Place has always shown care and respect and love for their residence. Also, this facility is well kept and clean as well as professional. And the staff is in-tune to each individuals need such as medical hygiene, social, and nutritious and spiritual.

I toured a number of memory care facilities + nursing homes for my mother after a traumatic brain injury. The day I toured Bluebonnet the Exec. Dir, [name removed] was at lunch. [name removed], the maintenance man called her to return but began to give me a tour. After only a few minutes it was evident to me that he loved his job + the residents. It appeared that every staff member was “hands on” with the residents + the affection was sincere. Mother was so loved and cared for in the approximately 20 months she lived there. The staff member who found her was the day of her last fall. The one which eventually killed her, said she just “had a feeling” checked on her + found her, probably saving her from bleeding out alone on the floor + enabled my niece to be able to hold her (she worked there) till EMTs arrived- very meaningful. [name removed] + the former activities director (a girl don’t remember her name) attended her memorial service: what a blessing to the family! Not the fanciest “body” (facility) but the biggest “heart”.

[name removed], administrator of Lucas Place has provided along with the staff all the care needed for my 93 year old dad with Alzheimer's during the transition of placing him in assisted living. The staff continually meet his every need from medication reminders to his special adaptive utensils at meal time. I highly recommend this community.

I recently moved my elderly relatives here (and they really did not want to leave their home of 53 years). After seeing Brookdale Irving, they were amazed that they could afford to live in such a nice place with so many amenities. Now, four weeks later, they look better (good food makes a big difference!) and seem so much happier than they did when they were trying to hold things together in their old house. I have been very impressed with the staff -- caring, attentive, warm and welcoming. Brookdale Irving has truly transformed a difficult decision into a happy and excellent experience!
