I visited my brother during the holidays this year and I was very impressed with the warmth and the holiday spirit that they had. The staff were all very happy and kind. They treat the residents like family. I am so happy that he has these people caring for him. Thank you.

The staff are empathetic and compassionate. More than that they share and show love with the residents. They treat them with respect and great care.

When my parents moved into Summerhill 5-6years ago, they took adjoining rooms to give themselves both a BR and a LR/den layout plus the option of separate sleeping quarters (sofabed) if one of them became ill. They loved it! After dad was hospitalized to get medical care of his chronic leg problems, he picked up CoVid and was not able to return to Summerhill for the 6 months he held on through various challenges. Mom then downsized into a single room and keeps her nonagenarian spirits up by being surrounded with the things that she loves, frequent family visits, and the very professional care she gets from the upbeat staff at Summerhill and the company of fellow residents when she’s not reading, doing her exercises, catching up with the news and enjoying Happy Hour. In the years she’s been there, I’ve never seen the place look unsanitary; the staff have always been nothing but friendly, helpful, accommodating, sensible and about their responsibilities. My hat’s off to them - Thanks
