My mom was at spring village and the service in the past 3 months has gone drastically downhill. We had no choice but to find other arrangements for her care. Nursing is subpar and the living arrangements are going downhill fast.

This place is nice from the outside. Looks are definitely not what they seem. I am not sure what is going on but it’s not a place I would send my loved one or work. I have tryed several times to get in touch with [name removed]and they never answer phone calls return emails. You go in to see them never in the building to talk to or the office is all dark all the time…. My loved one is always dirty, can’t find nursing staff. If you would have went back to several month they had amazing staff that cared for the residents they had a director that was there 24/7 and answered everything she could. Now you don’t know what you are walking into and most of the time it’s a [removed]show.

Extremely overpriced for services rendered even with contractual agreement. Occupational therapy never render. Patient falls. [Secondhand information removed.] Covid19 restrictions in force but was advised by certain staff members how to get around this. Cleanliness issues in room/bathroom lacking. Clothes went missing never returned or reimbursed. $X,XXX+ [price removed] month is to much for this place

10/10 do not recommend for employment and for care! Do your research. They put on a good front that’s for sure! But it’s all for show. The place is so poorly managed it’s soooo sad! I’ve never experienced anything like it. There is absolutely no support or sense of team working there. There’s a reason they struggle with employee retention! Think about it. They cannot keep people for more than a few months bc they treat them so poorly! The place is seriously understaffed on a regular basis and management rarely comes in to help! This DIRECTLY affects the level of care staff is able to provide to their residents. The LNAs are so burnt out in all aspects.

Please do not place your loved ones here. They put on a good show to get you into the door but after that there is a significant issue of the Woodbine company just trying to fill the beds (as fast as they can) without adequate staffing. Additionally, your loved ones are not advocated for as they should be by anybody!! They do not have any type of system in place to prevent frequent falls. Please- continue the search for a better long term care option. You’re paying for it, after all.

We had a very bad experience with Spring Village at Pocono. My dad fell many times in 6 weeks and the staff members do not watch their residents. I would tell others not to move your loved ones here.

Not be considered in Spring. Small hallways, cluttered space and the dinner the night I visited were a hot dog or sandwich not the type of meals for us

The Gardens is an inadequate assisted living facility. The nursing staff is completely incompetent and will just send residents to the hospital when they don't know what to do. They have insufficient caregivers available and very limited staff on weekends. They may seem reasonably priced but will charge for every care visit and hire additional outside help without your knowledge and then bill you for it. Very poor management. Do NOT go there!

For a very large lump sum of money Spring Village is definitely not worth it. Our loved one came from a hospital after falling - we were promised he would have physical therapy and adequate care however our loved one did not receive physical therapy or the correct care. We were told by the community that our insurance had no providers that were in the network and we were willing to pay out of pocket so he could receive the care and that still did not work. The rooms were nice but not kept up to our standards, there were ants in the bathroom, dirty dishes on countertops for weeks, dust on shelves, our loved ones clothes were lost in the laundry and never were returned or reimbursed I would not recommend this community for even a dead dog

Spring Village a Woodbine Co. has taken over The Gardens and in 1 1/2 months is destroying the best assisted living facility. My mom has been here for 9 years. Two years ago I wrote a 5 star review because The Gardens was a privately owned facility with loving caring and professional staff. The Executive Manager was walked out today after 19 years of running the place. The chefs quit the other day-14 years working there. I am heartbroken and will soon look for another place for my mom who I thought would live there til she passed, but I will have to move her. Look up Woodbine reviews of staff. I want to take my 5 star review down but will just add this one
