Wingate Senior Living

I cannot sing enough praises for this facility. The executive director is awesome and accessible and her staff is the best I've ever dealt with. The food is awesome, the nurse is top notch. The residents are so sweet. and the entire staff is so kind and helpful. I would whole-heatedly recommend AdviniaCare The Woodlands to other families looking for care for their loved ones. [name removed], the executive director, knows how I feel. I have expressed, to her, everything I have shared with you. She is amazing.

My mom is currently a resident at Wingate Residences at Melbourne Place. All of us are happy with everything going on at this facility. I don't know about the food, but mom likes it. This facility is the perfect fit for my mom. She is more active and mobile now. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My person had problems adjusting to smaller spaces and being dependent on others. But the staff is knowledgeable and patient. And she is doing far better adjusting.

They mostly took care of my loved one. There was a few times that I emailed and didn't get a response. But overall yes. Everyone there is very helpful and kind. I would recommend this community to other families.

Wingate Residence on Blackstone Boulevard was an exceptional facility. My loved ones were at another Wingate facility and it was excellent all around.

The facility is absolutely stunning. It's modern and clean. The staff is absolutely wonderful. It is truly a whole other level of senior living. The apartments are spacious. You can get full kitchens as well as two bedrooms. I would highly recommend the Wingate family to anyone.

My loved one is a resident here and we absolutely love it. The living areas are large, they offer a ton of activities, great food. The staff is excellent very caring and hands on all the time. They do hourly checks on residents, there's actually a button in each resident's room for the staff to push to verify that the hourly check has been done. My loved one is back to being active and involved in activities now that we've moved her to this facility. Plus, the cost is less than many in the area.

I toured this community and I really liked it. I was impressed with the caring staff and the cleanliness. However, it was more expensive than some of the other options in the area.

It's a beautiful place with caring staff. They provide good care to my mother. And they do a good job reaching out to keep our family informed.

The ease at which we maneuvered through this whole process, as far as meeting with the sales team and everyone else, there led us to have everything done within two weeks time - which to me, is amazing. I would describe their staff as very friendly, caring, and engaging. Some of their activities include live music on a weekly basis, and my mom has been doing some exercise programs like Pilates, yoga, etc., that she didn't participate in beforehand. They really included her and made her feel welcome to join in. They also have weekly shopping trips, wine and cheese on the deck every couple Fridays. They have any number of activities for the people there.

I was very happy with Wingate Residences. The food was good. The people were kind. It was a comfortable, beautiful, homelike atmosphere. They had beautiful landscaping, a swimming pool, exercise classes that were appropriate and modified to the level of the residents. It was a great experience that offered me relief from the weight of being my loved one's sole caretaker. And I am so grateful for the time I got to spend visiting him. I was there often and for long periods of time, and the staff were always welcoming and kind to me. My loved one needed quite a lot of care, and in selecting a place, I had to choose between an assisted living facility with some extra nursing care, or a nursing home. Looking back, I wonder if perhaps a nursing home would have been a better option for his care simply because he needed so much of it - at no fault of Wingate Residences. They are an assisted living facility, not a nursing home. And they are great at what they do. I just wasn't ready for him to go into a nursing home yet, but I also didn't realize how costly hiring hourly nursing care would be. Those are just things to keep in mind if your loved one needs quite a lot of care. But I would recommend Wingate Residences to others and have recommended them to a friend of mine.

our tour was awesome and we found this community to be very nice. we chose another community because Wingate could not accommodate the different needs of my loved one and their partner.

My mother in law was a resident at Wingate Residences on the East Side for many years. She was very happy there and it felt like home. Staff were attentive and caring. The meals were wonderful and the special events were a highlight for her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wingate residences.

Every time I visit my mother there I am more impressed with the staff and the way things are so well run. It is a continuing rising level of pleasure and satisfaction to witness again and again the care and thought that goes into every aspect of this charming place. Look no further!

I have a loved one here and she is attended to with gentle interest and a strong sense of being encouraged to move about and experience movies, games, and meals in the dining room. They brought her out of her shell and made her a lovely home to be in and where it is easy to be relaxed and happy!! The staff, from the top down are exceptional!!

I spoke with the Inn and they were lovely. We actually have friends who have family members at this facility and they are very happy with their experience.

It is pretty pricey but from our understanding we do think the meals and dining service is pretty good. Also they do have activities for the residents who choose to participate in them.

The staff members are all very friendly and very kind. The care services were good we have had no complaints and our loved one seems to enjoy the meals. The only complaint he did have was just not being able to mingle with the other residents, have visitors and do the activities because of the covid restrictions. However we would still recommend this community to others.
