I am very glad I made the decision to move to Woodlands and very glad I did it this time in my life. I get to have the experience of living in a small apartment and not having to deal with my old 3 bedroom house & property surrounding it. I love the apartment & really appreciate it. All the residents have been very welcoming, smiling & friendly. After a day I was happy here.

The best thing about Wingate is that it isn't a giant national company. Because they only have a handful of locations, it feels more personal. The staff is lovely and my mom is happier and more relaxed in memory care there than she was at my home. The central garden courtyard area is really wonderful for residents and ensures they get plenty of fresh air. A key feature for my mom

Our mother has been at Woodlands a little over two years. She is happy has made good friends they have daily activities. Management has been responsive whenever we have questions. Staff are attentive. We appreciate the good care as we are out of state. Thank you WOODLANDS.

5 but the problem that caused me to move my wife was the lack of 24 hr nursing coverage. Only 8am to 8pm and she occasionally would need prescription medication after 8pm that the staff could not administer! Found out that many facilities in this area are similar in lacking 24 hour nursing coverage

I would say they get a five on everything, except number six. Because I've never eaten the food and have no opinion. Also, on number eight, I have no opinion because I've never compared prices that closely between facilities. I like the fact that there's a nursing home on the campus.

Beautiful setting. Easy move in and out. Active social opportunities.

My brother moved into The Inn Assisted Living for a respite stay after a hospitalization and it was the best decision we could have made. The staff was kind and responsive and helped him work toward his goal to return home. If he ever needs more help in the future we wouldn't hesitate to call Wingate.

I did a short-term stay at Wingate while my sister was away and have nothing but incredible things to say about the staff. When my time comes this will be the location for me! Thank you team wingate!!

Beautiful and quiet location on Silver Lake Reservoir. Fairly rural community. Have to travel by car or Wingate van for shopping. Rooms are a better than many of the other facilities I visited for my cousin. Has an on campus rehab facility across the parking lot. Wingate residents get priority if needed. An excellent choice.

They had excellent memory care support, excellent care attendants, and my dad had male attendants which helped a lot when he got to where he couldn't walk. They were super helpful in coordinating with primary on medication, had lots of fun activities, wonderful meals and they had church services every week which my dad loved. They also coordinated with Medicare and PT and OT support coming in. Their all around service and offering was great.

I would recommend them. They have a good community. We picked this community because, she liked it better. The other places were a little stuffy. The staff are very friendly and courteous.

We had been providing dementia care for mom full-time with in-home support while we were at work. We started this process thinking that we’d just get a feel for the facilities that were out there for the future. We toured the Highlands in Providence and at Wingate. People at both places were just so kind and knowledgeable it made me feel like mom would probably get a higher level of care from memory care professionals at this stage. We chose Wingate because we knew how much she’d liked very the courtyard garden. The staff is so knowledgeable about Alzheimer’s and the needs of residents. I initially struggled with some guilt but each time I visit, she looks happy and engaged. I just get to make her feel loved and help her look forward to the next event in her schedule. I really feel like I’ll be able to enjoy my remaining time with her more because now I get to just be her daughter.

We moved our loved one to long term care at Wingate and it has been a wonderful place. The nurses and staff are great. Both my parents are there and I would highly recommend it. The place is clean and the patients are clean and well taken care of, plus great daily activities.

Former church retirement / retreat community; the place still hums with a positive vibe. Even if a secular place now. (Our pastor told me he remembers when it was a retreat place years ago.) Great place for all levels of care, highly recommended.

Positive experience for the short time my sister was there. They took excellent care of her. Were responsive to her complex medical needs. Stayed in contact with me as her proxy. Reached out when she passed after a short period of time.

We are so grateful that A Place For Mom matched Mom with Wingate Residences. The staff was so helpful as we navigated entry and move-in, and answered our many many questions kindly and well. Staff from CNAs to food service to housekeeping and maintenance have been friendly and respectful. The other residents are welcoming. There are so many activities, Mom picks up the daily schedule every morning and lives by it. And the food is wonderful! The main meal is lunch, which makes sense for so many health reasons, the variety great and options plentiful. Transitions like this are hard, but Wingate has done everything possible to make it easier. We appreciate it so much.

What our family likes the most about The Inn at Silver Lake is the staff. They are very receptive and are available to check in on and help my mother whenever she needs it. Based on our experience, we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.
