I had a good tour of this community. Everything looked nice and well maintained from what I saw. It was a nice experience. The staff I came across was friendly and nice. Budget was a factor when considering where to move my mother. Unfortunately this community price was a little expensive. My tour went well, but not the community for us.

Loved this place, and the staff was so helpful. Looking forward to moving Mom in when she is released from Rehab. Pleased with the fact that it is a smaller facility, where she will do well.

This is a fantastic community, and my father and is doing very well. I'am pleased with all they have done for us. I would highly recommend this community, it has worked out very well for us. I'am comfortable with the care they are providing him with. He is safe and in good hands at this community.

My mother is doing well here at this community. They are doing a good job with caring for my mother and her needs. The staff is good for the most part. The only problems I have had are with administration. They have made some promises they have not followed through with, and they the maintenance needs to be quicker with responding. Also they meals could use some improvements. Other than those issues they do have activities for the residents. She is being cared for well overall.

[Removed] [Removed] met with my Mother and I and was so genuinely caring and patient with our questions. My Mom made a quick decision to live at Brookdale and the whole family is so happy for her happiness. She has so much more energy with the stimulating activities and the people are nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place for your loved ones.

Dad is adjusting well to living at The Manor House. The staff as a whole are good and dad likes everyone. They offer transportation. They have numerous things available including playing cards, a work out room and church services. They have an outer dining room where residents can eat separately with family members. Dad likes the food and they offer a variety of choices. They keep the community and his apartment clean.

Everything is very well for my mother here at this community. I'am pleased with her move here, she is in good hands. She is receiving good care, everybody has been great. This is a lovely community. It has worked out very well for us. A place for mom was great with all the help they provided.

Everything is going wells for my mother here at this community. The location is very convenient for me. The community is five minutes for my home. They have a lovely staff, they are always willing to help, and attentive. My mother needs some extra attention, and they have been very accommodating with that. It is a smaller community compared to others, but it has a nice family vibe. Their rates fit our budget. This is a nice garden style community.

The community was very clean but the rooms were very small. The staff that offered the tour was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. They offered activities that the residents seemed to enjoy.

My mother and mother-in-law have been residents for several years now. The staff people are wonderful and long term, and the housekeeping is excellent. The food is so-so, and the ability to self use laundry services are limited. Many activities and opportunities for residents to attend events and shop externally. Limited car service (within 5 miles) for doctor visits with appointments. Electric and heating/cooling costs included in rent. The only complaint we have, as previously stated, is the increase in rental payments each year, averaging between 5-7 % per year, which is significant when the rent exceeds $ 4000 per month. Scuttlebutt within the residence is that there is a wide disparity in costs between residents. Eventually, these increases will likely force both my mom and mother-in-law to different accommodations.

My mom is adjusting well to Atria. She has been attending a variety of activities and enjoys the dining experience. The staff is awesome and very attentive. We just lost my dad my mom needed to be around people in a new environment. She was very hesitant to leave her home in a senior community, but I explained that her needs changed and begged her to try it. She loves it now, and I am so glad she is there. My only negative comment is the smell of the carpets in the hallways and the stairwells. I wish the flooring was washable and easier for them to clean. I know wood floors are expensive, but it would be a big improvement that would not harbor germs and odors.

This community looked pretty old and the paint colors were dark which gave me a feeling of not being home. I did get a chance to speak with the tour guide and he did invite us to lunch to talk more. The food was good and acceptable. The community all together was a nice, clean, well kept place.

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far our experience with Brookdale Brighton has been a positive one. The facility is clean and well kept, the staff seems friendly, and they've got a good variety of activities. It seems to be a nice place, overall.

Things are going okay at Atria Penfield. So far, I do not have any problems or complaints with the facility or the staff. I have had a pretty good experience with the place so far.

I visit there regularly for the past 10 years I love the staff there they are always helpful when it comes to the care of the residents they know what they're doing the Residents seem happy and healthy the food looks to be home made and the residents eat well Ive ate lunch plenty of times and had a great experience I'm reading some of the reviews on here and it's shameful to see that some people would say anything if their not happy I've had a wonderful experience with visiting and volunteering here with the residents at Amerisist of Manassas.

Life changing

They have done a lot well. They are very attentive, because it is a small facility. Their routine has been incredibly beneficial to my loved one, as well as the care she is receiving. The thing they can definitely improve on is their food; the menus are very odd and I am not sure about the nutritional value. The building itself is a little older too, but they are updating it.

We just had to take my mom out of the Atria /south Setauket because basically she got kicked out because they could not take care of all of her needs, so that was a little bit disappointing for the family.

My father was a resident in the Orange facility for 1 month and then was able to be moved to Amerisist of Culpeper which is much closer to family. The staff at Orange were very friendly and supportive of my father's needs. Tanika the resident manager frequently checked in with my father to make sure the asssisstance he needed was providied and also check on is physical and mental health were staying on track. She noted the same things I did regarding days when he was slightly confused and just not him self. The facility did not hesitate to call me with concerns or questions. I felt comfortable with my father being there.

I am really pleased with Brookdale Brighton. It is a very clean facility. In fact they were cleaning the carpets and upholstery when I was visiting recently. She is getting a really good value right now by signing by July 31st. There are a lot activities there. Unfortunately she does not really participate in them. Everything was a positive experience here. When she has any type of problem it gets resolved very quickly. The staff are wonderful. They are always willing, able, and happy to see you.
