The staff are very nice, facility is clean and meals are very good. Move in process was efficient. Only negative since the move in was the elevator was down for more than a week right after moving in, the repair seemed pretty slow.

I would probably give them a solid 4, just based off of I'm not there everyday to see the whole spectrum of what goes on there. When I go in there the staff.. nurses, assistants and whoever else is there are very friendly and always give us updates. My mom used to get a call I think every week with an update but she hasn't gotten any in a while, just from me. The other thing I don't get and haven't had a chance to ask was when my dad has been taken to the hospital for a few falls, I don't know why the ambulance company isn't provided with his insurance companies. And I would think the ambulance would give that to the hospital also. It causes more headache for my mother to have to deal with the billing.

As a whole.. everyone at Willow Ridge is very accommodating and attentive. For anyone who's never had to find a safe place for a senior relative before .. it's traumatic for everyone.. especially the new resident .. each experience is different.. ours involved our 90 yr old, highly independent until this last year.. mom who fought the whole process kicking and screaming.. figuratively. Dementia is playing a big factor and declining cognitive strengths that none of us were prepared to understand and deal with. We're learning as we go. In the meantime.. moms safe, fed and warm every day. We all sleep a little better. Having her back in her own home of over 50 yrs is just not an option. Paying someone to be w her 24/7 there is not financially possible... the Village was the next best thing although an hour away from most of us .. we're doing our best to make it work. Our mom tends to be naturally negative.. always an issue.. and one that won't change. The staff seems to have the ability to roll with it

We are having issues getting parts to have her air conditioning unit fully functional and the food is not great. I would recommend Fields of Florissant to others.

I have been here for about 6 months. I came from a studio apt. to a 1 bedroom with a patio. The residents here are pleasant and helpful when I have questions. There are many activities to choose from. Some at the facility and out in the community on our bus we share with another facility. They asked me to be an ambassador and help new people joining our community. I have to say the food is much better than the other facility I was at, but I am not crazy about only two hot breakfasts per week. I am not a fan of boiled eggs except for eggsalad??... they have exercise equipment, a chapel, a library, tables for puzzle lovers, a special media room for movies, also a lot of TV channels for all residents through Spectrum. We just were informed of new ownership change last month. I would mention many residents have pets allowed for specific fees.

My Mom hasn't been there since last November. She then went to the hospital and is now in skilled nursing. Scored lower on admin because corporate office doubled rent out of bank account. Multiple calls, they wouldn't communicate in writing (email). Ended up contacting bank to dispute charge. Gables is independent only. [company removed] has way too many clients there to assist properly. Had issues with [name removed] to get responses. We wouldn't trust for care beyond meds. Most of her employees were nice and tried their best with the little time they had.

It's a wonderful place! Apartments are beautiful . There are various sized apartments. Amenities are comparable to other senior living.

The staff is excellent. The staff always knows the tenants names and are polite anytime our family visits. The quality of care is top notch. There is never a question they cannot answer. Activities get just a bit like a broken record but very engaging. The food reminds me of cafeteria food. Just ok. The rooms are perfect size and they are always kept clean.

Participants are friendly. Staff is extremely helpful and caring. The facilities could use some upgrades - outside preparation of the gardens are well prepared. Could use new rugs in isle ways as an improvement. They allow residents to participate with tasks for those that are interested in helping to make this feel more home-like.

Overall I liked this place. My friend was not easy to deal with, and I feel the staff overall was very tolerant of her behaviors. Would like to see more knowledgeable med techs.

The staff is helpful but the food does accommodate a resident who needs low salt diet due to heart failure. Apartment is single bedroom and it's beautiful with plenty of room.

Everyone is extremely nice my Mom feels welcomed and the building is always extremely clean. The food is awful.. overcooked dried out no flavor. My husband and I went to eat and it was actually horrible we did not finish our meals

The staff are wonderful and very helpful. It's like being at an all inclusive resort minus the alcohol. I would recommend

There is a ton of turnover in the staff all the time. Kitchen staff especially, making dinners haphazard, unorganized, and often cold. Desk staff seems to be someone new every time I stop by. The facility is lovely.

The welcoming staff at all levels. Yes I would recommend.. On our first visit the facility seemed a little dated but it was very clean and the staff seemed friendly and very helpful. We liked that the community was on the smaller side and the location in Greece was central to family. We were not mistaken! The staff is hardworking and friendly, the facility is very clean and our sister has found friends in the small, close knit community. One thing I would caution people about is once my sister arrived at the facility we realized she really had to have an electric wheelchair in order to get around, she was at the furthest spot from the community rooms. Unfortunately, we found out that it would take 5-7 weeks for her insurance to approve it. After 2 weeks of her struggling to get around we ended up purchasing it outright and it gave her the freedom and mobility she needed. That is the only reason I rated a 4 instead of a 5 as I feel that the staff should have realized that her mobility would be a problem and given us a heads up. She is very happy now and feels like a member of the community! And yes you can use my answers, anonymously please. I have recommended A Place for Mom to friends and I am sincerely grateful for all the advice and encouragement my family received from your organization!

The administration staff was welcoming and made it very easy for the move in process. Our Mom is quite happy after being there for 2 months which is surprised us.

Mom likes the people there, cleanliness is wonderful. But she has had pretty continuous problems with her room's thermostat. She also doesn't like the food, literally almost ever. The rates aren't bad though. She doesn't take advantage of all their available trips and services, but there are many.

The outstanding staff! That it is a clean facility and professionally run. Mom would like a little more entertainment.

How quickly we were able to get a room is what stood out. Very good services for the price. I would recommend to others.
