I would recommend Atria South Setauket to other families looking for their loved ones.

It is a very friendly and relaxed place. It's a great fit for veterans and working class seniors. My brother was immediately welcomed and has more friends now than he has had in many years since retiring. It's a great fit for people who share similar life experiences. I do recommend it.

They are very friendly and take care of issues fairly quickly. They check on my mom to see if she is ok, when she does not come down for dinner. Her main complaint is the food isn't good. She has already discussed this issue with the staff.

The new community will finally open in February 2023, which will have both Assisted Living and Memory Care. What stuck out to us here was the affordable Memory Care and the up grades (such as roll in showers, in which some of the others did not offer). We liked the idea of a flat fee, no add ons, which would have made AL at other communities almost impossible. The Staff has been wonderful to my mother. I have become friends with many, as I look at this as a partnership, what can I do to help you help my mother. I am a very proactive and supportive family member and I feel that is very much appreciated by the staff. I visit with my mother 3 to 4 times a week. Since my mother has dementia, some activities are a challenge. But the staff and residents encourage her and support her. Housekeeping is provided, at first I was not pleased but I believed they have changed cleaning companies. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

The main reason we went with Anthology of Olathe over others we toured was just because the locaiton was closer and more convenient for family. They have an awesome activities director [name removed] and [name removed] is great too.

We have been very happy with the experience at The Manor House Independent Living. Mom loves the people there and all the help that she receives. They have a very friendly and caring staff. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

Fox Trail at Manassas is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL facility. This is a place that I would move to in the next 5 years. It is for more active, independent people I would say but they do offer care. I saw a lot less people in wheelchairs than other places I visited. The only downfall was I did not see many staff out and interacting with the residents, but it may just have been the time I was there.

The staff at Atria South Setauket were AMAZING, I loved them. I saw a lot of residents out and about doing activities during our tour. The dining room was absolutely beautiful. The downside for us was the rooms, they only had a small window so it felt very dark and she would not get much natural light. I also was not a fan of the old hotel carpet in the hallways.

This facility is the right place for my mom right now. She's had no complaints. They keep the facility clean. Housekeeping is weekly and they do a good job. The food is good, it's good quality and variety. Communication with the family is good. One suggestion I have is better communication with what they have to offer like transportation and in house services. Even if they don't offer some of the needed services, a list of resources in the area for needs would be very helpful. Overall, I would recommend them to friends and family.

Management does not seem to have a lot communication with each other. One person promises something will happen, but then they do not communicate it and it does not get get done. But generally everything else has been good. The staff is friendly and residents especially are all very friendly. I think that it is a nice and safe place to live. I would recommend Legacy at Willow Pond to others looking for independent living.

Our loved ones biggest complaint would have to be with the meals - according to her now she is dealing with dementia so we are not sure how much of this is true, but she says by the time she gets down to the dining hall most of the hot meals are gone and what is left is just cold sandwiches. She is still adjusting to things but the staff member's have been incredibly and they can easily look at a situation and come back to us with different recommendations

Our family had an in person tour and it was a very nice and clean community, staff were great but we just did not like the room and bathroom set up

Atria Weston Place seemed like a good facility. Everyone was friendly and seem to get along. There was more interaction between the residents and the staff. It also was organized.

I think Anthology of Olathe is comparable to other places. Just like kids in a school cafeteria - no one really likes the food, but that's a personal preference and they can't please everyone. My loved ones apartment is spacious and larger than the facility before. The room comes with a microwave, basic cable, a living room that's separate from the bedroom, and lots of cabinet space. The community offers transportation to appointments and stores, but we haven't used that service just yet. When it comes to communication between the community and our family - when I've contacted them, they have been responsive and I've had no issue with receiving a reply. But I don't hear from them first unless I call or email beforehand. Overall I would recommend Anthology to others.

Our experience at has been pretty good. My loved enjoys being here. The community has lots of activities for the residents to participate in. My loved one enjoys the comradery and the social aspect of it. The food is really good. The housekeeping, changing of linens, all the meals, activities, transportation, the apartment, and utilities(except for a land line, cable, and internet) are included in the monthly price. The only downfall is the cell coverage isn't the best. The building has internet in the entry way, but it would be nice to have it in the entire building. There is a washer and dryer room on each floor. There is a kitchenette in the apartment for the residents to use.

We went to their Easter even and it was great and everybody has been super friendly and our loved ones seem happy. Only thing we are struggling with is the care services and having them stay on top of things and more of a follow through

This is a beautiful place, and you are treated well here. This was not the right fit for my loved one, as my loved one was more limited on what they were able to do than we initially thought. The community did the laundry, housekeeping, changing of linens, transportation, all the meals, and the room that were included in the monthly fee. There was a sink and a little refrigerator in the apartment for my loved one.

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They really try to help with whatever problem you might have. Any concerns they address immediately. All in all they do a really great job. Overall the facility is clean and well kept up, including the outdoors and exterior. One area for improvement is the on-site doctor visits. It took way too long for the doctor to see my mom after she first moved in. But I've met the doctor, and she is a very nice woman who seemed very concerned about my mom's health. She is knowledgeable and took her time to explain things to me. I just think they might need a second doctor. She sees so many people it's difficult to keep up with all of them.
