Westmont Living

Westmont Carmel Valley is absolutely beautiful, there is a lot of land surrounding it, beautiful peaceful views, it's a very quiet area, close to restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies. There is parking for residents that drive and a shuttle for those that do not. The staff is very friendly, I always feel welcome when I drop by to see my mom. There are a lot of free classes for the residents, happy hour, live music on many days and for holidays they go all out. The food is good, I think there could be done improvement with the taste of the food and maybe more staff to serve but it is good. Overall I feel like this has been one of the best places we have seen and we are happy

Previously lived in a senior living in another state I expected the usual but to my delight this facility surpasses anything ever. It lived up to its write up description plus. The facility is clean; the staff are all very attentive and care, full time nurse care when 3 meals daily smacks any time and continuing life style from independence to final days to heaven!

5 for all categories. The staff is great and there are a lot of activities for the residents. The food is good, and the place feels like a resort. My mom is enjoying her apartment and balcony. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so for

My Father is happy there. The staff care for him and love him like he is family. I am assured he is cared for and safe. The therapists on staff provide services to him when it is needed. Staff let me know when something goes wrong. I am welcome to visit and enjoy meals with my Father regularly. It is a lovely facility and has beautiful outdoor patios and gardens. They hold nice music events outside periodically that Dad and I have enjoyed.

Very friendly and caring people staffing the memory care facility. Many and varied fun activities are offered as well as off-site activities are offered. Mom seems satisfied with her meals, although she comments that the meals are never as good as homemade....

Even though the monthly rate for a room in the memory section of Westmont seems high, the administrative staff reassessed my mom after the first month and adjusted her from a level 2 to a level 1. A savings of $500 per month which they made retroactive for the first month as well. The individual care givers in the memory care section were very kind and attentive to my mom. The food in the memory care section was often bland. This may have been because they don’t allow knives in this area. However, when I visited I was able to take mom to the main dining area where the food was good and the service of a high standard. It didn't take long for my mom to find friends in the memory care section. Although, as you can imagine there were many repetitive questions etc.

If you can afford top quality care the oaks is a great facility. The staff is very responsive to the residents needs and the food is great. Having a physician that comes to the facility is so helpful for those that have difficulty with transportation. No one wants to move to assisted living and lose independence, but the oaks provides a safe, clean and friendly environment for those that need it.

Very informative. Excellent walk-through of the memory care area. Clean as a whistle. Staff friendly and engaged with the residents. This place is number one on my list. Individual rooms are well laid out.

I would rate everything a 5, a few stumbles from the administrative staff, such as conflicting information but they were anxious to resolve miscommunication. The staff is very caring and responsive. And the move in went very smoothly. The family is very happy with Lakeview Senior Living.

Eventually we had to move out due to cost. Found a cheaper solution for living. Yes, we would recommend Westmont of Fresno to other families based on the experience we had.

Good food, Very very clean, staff always here for us feel safe and loved lots and lots activities. Outside clean and safe staff go's out way to help with tv movies.

Oceanview is a great place to live. The manager [name removed] is great! Does a great job. Best in the last 20 years I have lived there.

My sister and I were very impressed with the environment at Westmont when we toured for our mother. There was a table of four residents in the dining area that were having a great time together, we were having a great time together, we were greeted with their laughter, there was a full house at Bingo and we were introduced to tenured staff, 6, 7 and 9 year veterans of the building, that speak volumes.

My mom was extremely overwhelmed with my there's ever growing care needs and memory concerns, we had to make a quick decision to move dad into Westmont of Escondido. The tram was able to quickly and efficiently transition my dad into their compass rose memory care. Through increased communication and consistent care we are on track to maintain a very positive outlook and overall experience at Westmont.

I would recommend Westmont. Westmont is a nice place and we hear lots of compliments about the staff from independent and assisted living residents. Our mom has settled in and is treated very well by the memory care healthcare workers. We are mostly satisfied with the Westmont of Escondido.

I did my research. This place is one of the best in the I.E. beautiful, full of amenities pickle ball court, movie theatre two restaurant and three fitness centers full care service if when I will need it. Ask for [name removed].

Great place! Wonderful staff. Everyone here is so friendly and very helpful. There are numerous activities and schedules are distributed and posted throughout the facility. My mother is very happy here!

If you have a loved one who needs full time placement in memory care, my heart goes out to you! We were in your shoes making the VERY heartbreaking decision that mom could no longer stay in her own home. We agonized over how to do it and then where to place her. So blessed to have found Westmont at San Miguel’s Compass Rose Unit. Our mom has been in their care for 15 months and I can say we chose the perfect place for mom. She recently had a hospital stay and we could not wait to get her back “home”. The love and true compassion we witnessed when we brought her back to her room was nothing more than spectacular. Everyone who works with her treats her as though she is a family member. I cannot commend them more as a group. We are blessed to have such a caring team to surround her.
