My mother is doing great here at this community, they are caring for her very well. She made the transition to the community very easy. It is a nice community, they do a pretty good job with keeping everything nice and clean. My mother's room is well-kept. The staff is wonderful, they have been very helpful and friendly. She is trying out some new activities. The meals are nice, she is pretty pleased with the food. I'am confident about the type of care she is receiving.

I really liked this facility. The common areas are very nice and it offers an indoor pool, fitness room and a small store. Interaction between employees and residences is very good. The location is close to Grand Ave (lots of activities to attend). They have a nice secure parking garage with ample parking for visitors. Prices are reasonable.

Our biggest concern is the way the food is served. The dining room setup is not done very well. They can have to wait up to an hour after ordering for the food to arrive. I think the cleanliness is fine. I have been pretty impressed with most of the staff. There are some little things that could be better, the laundry isn't always brought back promptly. The transportation to and from doctors appointments are a little limited, with only certain, days and times, or distances. That wasn't very clear.

My experience with Pinole Senior Village has been great. I like it a lot. It's very affordable. They are well organized. They seem to have lots of experience in the field. Staff is really caring, and friendly, always ready to help. The facility is really cleanly. And one thing I really like is things don't get lost.

There are a lot of activities. The residents are very friendly. I’m perfectly happy here. Sometimes the food is very good, sometimes it’s fair, sometimes it’s poor. It varies. I haven’t had any issues with the laundry.

I toured this location when I was looking into senior living options. I had a meal here, and a brief tour. From what I saw everything looked very nice, and the food was good. However, this place was just too expensive for me to really consider it as an option.

Visited 11/15. Nice facility, newly painted and carpeted. Food good. Flexible eating times. Shuttle allows for some flexibility. Courtyard being re-done. Apts. adequate. Nice library.

This was three meals a day, no exceptions. They did offer full kitchens which my mom liked but she didn't want three meals a day and I think they were more expensive.

The food was superb but it's a lot more money the Westmont in Brentwood. My mother didn't like it which surprised me because it was very upper class. It really surprised me that she didn't like it because they have all the bells and whistles for a much higher price. The rooms were smaller though.

It was a nice place. They have a good restaurant and other activities there for everybody. The staff seemed nice.

Did meet with Director and it was a pleasure visiting that facility. The Staff was attentive,we did have lunch there and the food was wonderful.

I liked the Garden one because it has a studio instead of shared living. It has all inclusive personal care.

At the beginning, when I was still "looking" for a place, I always received responses to my emails or voicemail messages I left. Now that I have placed my father in this facility, I can't seem to get any responses to my emails or voicemails that I have left. It is regarding billing and [Removed], the office manager doesn't return my calls. I have even sent emails to Shelly, the person I had signed up with, even though this I not her area and have not received a response. The bill was due on July 1st and there is a 5 day grace period then you pay a late fee. Today is day 5. I started leaving messages on June 19th or 20th. I spoke to the nurse that does the assessment for the assistance needed on Sat., July 1st. She said she would have [Removed] get back to me. Still no response! I am not happy with this lack of response to my questions about their charges which are much higher than what I was told I would be paying.

This was just a short respite stay and I wasn't there much. The most frustrating part was that we didn't get the approval until the last minute. I felt like it could have been handled more expeditiously. When we got there, and being a Sunday, they weren't really ready for her. It's a young group of caregivers, but I do like that they have a low income tier. They have a great group of Seniors living there, really friendly, and funny too. It's a small place, they were very open and accepting. The only thing that was kind of scary was that they happened to have two people with with similar names, that resulted in medication mix-ups.

They said they had a security guard walk the perimeter every night. That didn't seem to be the case. We had an incident that indicated to us that whoever is supposed to be doing that, isn't doing it. Other than that they are clean, and they were cooperative when we moved.

The carpeting was just cleaned within the last couple days after not being cleaned for over 4 years. My mother is independent, but has had to deal with lack of privacy, and staff coming in her room without notice at all hours of the night without good reason. The staff gets a 1 (old administrator) they just changed about 6-8 weeks ago. New admin much better. But too early to rate. Dining room has many issues. Not all properly trained servers. Food is many times cold when served. Many times people wait 45-60 minutes for their food) unacceptable. My mother is not getting her monies worth, and she is in independent living with no help needed) biggest issue is the dining room at this time. People need to eat decently, and it's not happening.

While there are many caring and dedicated caregivers who do their best, my overall experience left me feeling that operational priorities sometimes took precedence over individualized resident care. There were occasions when the level of assistance provided did not consistently match our expectations. I also felt that management could have been more responsive to resident and family concerns. I appreciate the compassion shown by the caregiving staff and hope these areas continue to improve.

The environment did not convey a sense of comfort to us. The staff at the facility appeared cold and not especially friendly. Their demeanor was more businesslike compared to other places we visited, which impacted the overall atmosphere. The residents we observed were not very active and did not make use of any of the amenities provided. In general, the amenities were average, and the fitness room was small and lacked adequate equipment. While the casitas offered spacious accommodation, the master bedroom seemed small. The price for the casitas of [Amount Removed] per month (for 2) seems exorbitant, considering that there was no medical care available to residents in the casitas and only one meal a day, the casitas were located a considerable distance from the main facility, requiring a long walk to access central services.
