Overall our loved one is doing fine. The Pinole Senior Village is a good facility. The staff have been very helpful and communicate well. They proactively call and keep us updated with our loved ones care needs. The community is very accommodating with the meals served. They offer a variety of healthy options.

If choosing today this would be the facility I would choose for my parents, however, it is their decision. I like the indoor pool and the courtyard.

Really nice rooms; smallish outdoor common area

A Place for Mom was excellent in helping me find a new home for my Mom. She needed a memory care facility and I was given a list of places near my home. I am very, very pleased with what I found through the help of Sara S. from A Place for Mom. She was extremely helpful in all aspects. Even telling me that my Mom can apply for VA Assistance as well; my step dad was in the Navy. I was not aware this before. It will be helpful in the long run. I am moving my Mom into her new apartment tomorrow and I am very excited. I think she will ready enjoy living there. I would truly recommend A Place for Mom for anyone who needs assistance in placing a loved one in a home.

The staff at this community is very nice and they go above and beyond to assist the residents and the families. Some of the family has tried the food and it is good. Mom does not participate in a lot of activities yet but she does enjoy the bingo. I would recommend this clean and well maintained community.

My mother is very well and I am very pleased with everything they have done for us. The community looks great and everything is nice and clean. The staff is wonderful, they are always checking on her to make sure she is happy. She is trying plenty of activities, they have many through out the week. The food is okay, its not the best, but my mother say they are improving the food. They are very helpful and I would recommend it.

The most welcoming, kindest, facility I have visited. The folks that work there are so helpful and cheerful, you feel so comfortable asking questions about anything you feel the need to ask. The knowledge and compassion this facility has is a true blessing for such an overwhelming decision to place an elderly parent. You want the absolute best for their remaining years and I feel we have made the perfect choice. I can only say thank you for their patience, understanding and grace.

We moved Mom in very quickly and although she is still trying to get acclimated to things it seems to be the perfect fit. They hold lots of social events for the residents and Mom really seems to be enjoying the food. With time, we're hoping that it gets better and better. The staff have been great and very attentive to Mom's needs!

We are really enjoying Westmont. It is by far the best community we looked at for my mother. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of the community is great. It was one of the things that stood out when we toured. Due to the fact we had to move her so quickly, it is taking some time for her to adjust but that is to be expected. She has made some new friends with residents at the community. Overall, the feeling of the place is great and the residents are very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this community to my family and friends.

Our first feeling was that this site was on a busy street, however, once we were inside, that feel disappeared. The facility was clean and homey. The residents that we encountered all responded positively when we asked them how they liked it. Julie [removed] was a great source of knowledge and resources.

This was the first time to have a care giver. She worked out great even though Mom was grumpy and resistant at first. It was good for me to have some time off from the care giving. The caregiver was warm and friendly, and the light housekeeping she did was greatly appreciated.

So far, everything is going well at Alterra. The staff is great and they treat the residents well and the facility is clean. I can't think of any complaints or problems worth mentioning so far. A great experience. . .

My Dad died, but when he was there they were really wonderful with him. He was temperamental and they were very kind and patient with him. The staff was wonderful and I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Everything there is nice. Transportation is really excellent. My mom goes to get to get her hair done, appointments and it is really safe.

Out of the five facilities I've seen Lakeview Senior Living it's the best. The friendliness of the staff is a 6! They are very accommodating and understanding. In the past I would have to go buy moms necessities for her and here it is included. The facility is close hospital so I love the location. She is getting used to it there and getting adjusted. She is much happier on the coast even though it is not quite as convenient for me. It was a good move to have her here.

They were very receptive and helpful on getting my dad in there and situated. They helped make it a seamless transition and really made it a lot easier than we expected it to be. They helped get him in the room and living area that he wanted. The director was very helpful and very caring. They were very accommodating all throughout the process.

The apartments and facilities are very nice but the staff really shine. The friendly people at the desk, especially Bridget, make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone has been very kind and made the difficult transition of moving my mother to assisted living much easier. Beth

My mother has only been here for a couple weeks so I don't have any long term experience. I looked at several assisted living facilities but I found that most of them were a bit dreary and dated. When I came to look at Westmont Town Court I was happy to find attractive, bright, apartments and facilities. I think that the staff, especially Helen and Julie are very kind and helpful.

I feel that Pinole Senior Village is very personal. The staff has gone above and beyond, always being very helpful, kind, and welcoming. I don't know what more they could have done. The only thing I can think of where they could improve would be to have a wider variety of activities (with some more stimulating options) and encourage the residents to get involved.

Fabulous facility. Friendly staff, lovely grounds. Nice activities for seniors.
