Westmont Living

Our Dad had a stroke in early May 2023 and at 94 lost his ability to walk and take care of himself. We live in Encinitas, so wanted him to be close to us. After going to look at several Assisted Living/Independent Living Facilities we were quite surprised to find that Westmont Of Encinitas was far superior than all the others and actually was quite less in cost. The facility is just slightly over two years old and the staff is friendly, food is great and the activities are plentiful. Just in a short 2 months he is walking on his own, living in his great bright 1 bedroom apartment and going to Bridge 3 times a day, going to Ice Cream socials, and exercising and building his strength up with their great Physical Therapists. We brought him down from Costa Mesa to Westmont of Encinitas on [date removed] and he is thriving in such a short time. I would highly recommend Westmont of Encinitas for any loved one. Are father is happy and social and healthy now. This facility is a 5 Stars for sure.

Our family had an in person tour with The Terraces Senior Living and we thought the community was beautiful and the tour experience was great. I wish I would have picked this community for our loved one

My cousin looked at all senior homes for our aunt. By far the best overall. My aunt is very happy in all areas of the service she gets. They care about the people living there.{ name removed] the community organizer is the most caring person ever. She keeps an eye on the day to day concerns of our aunt!! She is the best!!!!!!

It's a little pricey, but I love it here, good service, very friendly environment, staff couldn't be more helpful or accommodating.

I have been thoroughly impressed by the staff at Westmont. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming. The care staff are very attentive, the food is delicious, and facility is beautiful! I could not be happier with our experience at Westmont of Fresno.

We like the community size, services offered, friendliness of staff and residents. I also think there is some room for improvement in the food area. There is room for improvement by way of a well defined transition communication plan on care plan It would be helpful to have a meeting with family pre move in ( post assessment), then another 2 weeks after move in and a month after...something of an on- boarding, how its going check in and a look back, now that family member has been here check in. A feedback loop for both family and Westmont because that is the space improvements happen and expectations are understood or clarified. I want to add that it is a very welcoming environment to new residents and their families. It gives the piece of mind needed. Change is difficult but made easier with a warm welcome and support for daily life needs.

I would say that it has been a surprisingly easy transition for our Mom. Therefore; our family is extremely grateful To Westmont and their wonderful staff. We picked this community, because of the convenience, and once we toured the facility, our minds were made it's less than 2 miles away from my brother's new home that he built .

My family and loved one have had a wonderful experience with Westmont of Cypress. Everyone here are friendly. The community building is new. There are activities and meals provided to assist with socialization of the residents. Overall we would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

It's an amazing place! Mom is so much more active than when living by herself!! She is now closer to my sister but can retain her independence. She loves the activities; whether it's listening to a concert or movie night. They have an app called "LifeLoop" where family members can view all the activities that she attended that week as well as pictures! Being in the dining room for all 3 meals is also a great way for her to meet new people; I must say the food is good, and there are lots of choices. Yes, I have eaten there!! Staff responds to inquiries in a timely manner; this is very helpful as I don't live in town, and my sister works so can't always answer my questions.

Westmont at San Miguel Ranch is very lovely and has loving staff members that work there. It is only 8 years old. The apartment sizes are great! They have a wonderful kitchen with plenty of room. I would absolutely recommend this facility for others looking for senior living.

Our experience has been wonderful with Westmont Village. The staff communication has been great and they have been very easy to work with. My loved one and family are very happy about choosing this community. This is a community I would recommend to others for their loved ones.

The only reason we did not choose Westmont Village was strictly due to financials, otherwise this would have been our top choice. They were well staffed. We loved the boarding options, they had lots of choices. You could have a private room but if you had a shared room, you still had privacy because it was your own bedroom with a shared bathroom. It seemed like a great place.

Our family is so grateful our Mom is at Westmont. She is happy and well cared for. It's an excellent facility and caregivers and staff are always responsive to anything we need.

Westmont Village was very nice and had a homey feeling, but it was too far for my loved ones.

Our family member is very comfortable at Westmont. Thanks to [name removed] and the staff and for finding an excellent care companion for our brother-in law. He has received attentive and compassionate care and has been more stable physically and mentally since he moved in. Thank you for all that you do.

Overall it was a great experience. The place is new and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They offer a lot of activities, including optional outings. They have in-house physical therapy, which was real plus. My loved one was able to do an hour of PT every day, which was beneficial to her wellbeing. The only issue was the food was not good at all. Often it was far overcooked / burnt, without much taste. That was the only area we felt needed improvement. Other than that, I thought it was a good value and give it a glowing review.

The staff is wonderful. Overall we're very happy with this community. My loved one's room is beautiful with a wonderful view. She seems to be very happy here. Housekeeping is weekly and does a good job. They offer a very wide variety of activities. The residents can also get their hair and nails done on site. The food is good, there have been a few mix ups with to go orders but nothing major. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

We're quite satisfied. I receive positive reports from the staff. They keep in communication with me and let me know if any issues arise. The facility looks very clean. They encourage my loved one to participate, and it looks like he's joining in. When he acts out of hand, they handle it quickly and professionally. It has been a good experience overall.

Walk into this lovely and cheerful business of a three tier care facility, I saw a group of ladies visiting around the fire pit happily chatting with their friends. The dining room was almost full with a variety of people dining together. During the tour I saw everything was very clean, organized and the helpfulness of the staff was cheerful and polite. I would recommend a visit to the unique facility if you are looking for a change in your lifestyle or assisted living.

The Oaks Of Nipomo has been fantastic, except for the food is bad. But other than that, great communication among staff, and everyone knows each other. They have lots of activities, and they are in constant contact with the residents.
