Westmont Living

I would say if a perfect can afford it, worth the money. The staff were very caring and generally a stable group. The environment is kept clean and pleasant. Plenty of activities.Also the commute for me and my sister was a factor.

La Mesa's Wesmont is such a lovely neighborhood. comparable to my relative's residence at [removed]. The way the staff looks after the people and the community is simply amazing. My uncle is receiving assistance from the Westmont administration as he moves into Westmont after more than 60 years of residence. Initially challenging, he now finds it enjoyable.

Westmont of Fresno gets 5 stars all the way around except for the value for they money. When I run out of our savings, I have no idea what is going to happen. The staff members at Westmont are great! They take really good care of my loved one. They are all so kind to him and to me. I would recommend this facility to others who are searching.

5 for everything! What our family likes the most about The Oaks at Paso Robles is the staff, service and the facility. They have great activities. They really try to involve the residence. Yes, based on the experience our family has had so far, I would definitely recommend.

At the end of April, my mother began her stay at [removed]. The initial sense of comfort I received when seeing the house, as well as how warm and polite the personnel were, were determining factors in our previous choice of Westmont at San Miguel Ranch. We felt at ease and certain that my dementia-stricken mother was in safe hands. The Director is amazing and is always willing to go above and above to assist. If there are any problems, he communicates quickly. Furthermore, the activities director does an outstanding job of organizing interesting and imaginative events for the residents. My mother adjusted better than expected and is thriving in her new neighborhood. She enjoys taking part in any and all activities.

My parents have been at Westmont for over 2 months. During their time there, they've been treated very well. They use the pool, participate in the exercise classes, and attend the social events - which happen regularly. And even though they're still independent drivers, they use the courtesy van service for their medical appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All of these amenities and services make it possible for them to enjoy what matters the most: their health, safety and personal wellness. And it also means I can enjoy a great meal with them onsite, but not do any of the dishes :)

What our family likes the most about Westmont of Fresno and what actually is the best part is the staff. The staff members working there are superior and have worked very well with us. Based on the experience we have had so far, we have already recommend this community to others and will continue to do so.

I am very pleased that I have chosen Westmont Village for my husband's care. Being a former US AIR FORCE facility, it has a heated indoor pool and fully equipped gym. It even has a small theater whey they show old movies a few times a week, and have all sort of other physical as well as mentally-stimulating activities planned. My son and I visited one other facility before we chose Westmont Village, but that one did not have any specific area where residents can do physical exercises except its main lobby area. Also, the facility allows family members and friends to participate in many of their social activities, which I really appreciate, and I try to join my husband in these activities as often as I can.

The staff was friendly, helpful to my mother in law, kept her involved in activities, she was content and ate well. We felt it was a good choice in having her stay there. We were pleasantly surprised as we have heard people say not great things about many care facilities in general. This was our first experience with a care facility and we were very happy with the care. We thanked everyone for their care when we brought her home.

Our family is so grateful to have found Westmont Village for our dad, it is like resort style living! They have everything when it comes to activities, although he is a mental health patient, so he does not participate in a lot of things but they have church services...They have happy hour, swimming, pickleball , gym, they have exercise classes, they have water volleyball, they have snow cone hour, visit casinos ,they have music-live performances and lots of trips to restaurant and Shopping. Resort style gated assisted living community five star restaurant, serving three meals a day... daily fun and exciting activities and field trips... state of the art amenities like indoor swimming pool, gym, movie, theater, and pickle ball . Friendly staff like [name removed] and [name removed] made us feel right at home. Affordable living, considering all the accommodations and med tech staff excellent to keep up with my health dad's care.

I believe the staff and each department works hard to help new people to become established in their new surroundings. Good food, activities, cleaning, laundry, outings, a great pool, and exercise room. A very nice facility. I would recommend Westmont Village because it was a Mother putting my son in Assisted Living, which was more unusual than children putting their parents in assisted living. They helped me through this process and I appreciate their efforts.

Our Dad had a stroke in early May 2023 and at 94 lost his ability to walk and take care of himself. We live in Encinitas, so wanted him to be close to us. After going to look at several Assisted Living/Independent Living Facilities we were quite surprised to find that Westmont Of Encinitas was far superior than all the others and actually was quite less in cost. The facility is just slightly over two years old and the staff is friendly, food is great and the activities are plentiful. Just in a short 2 months he is walking on his own, living in his great bright 1 bedroom apartment and going to Bridge 3 times a day, going to Ice Cream socials, and exercising and building his strength up with their great Physical Therapists. We brought him down from Costa Mesa to Westmont of Encinitas on [date removed] and he is thriving in such a short time. I would highly recommend Westmont of Encinitas for any loved one. Are father is happy and social and healthy now. This facility is a 5 Stars for sure.

Our family had an in person tour with The Terraces Senior Living and we thought the community was beautiful and the tour experience was great. I wish I would have picked this community for our loved one

My cousin looked at all senior homes for our aunt. By far the best overall. My aunt is very happy in all areas of the service she gets. They care about the people living there.{ name removed] the community organizer is the most caring person ever. She keeps an eye on the day to day concerns of our aunt!! She is the best!!!!!!

It's a little pricey, but I love it here, good service, very friendly environment, staff couldn't be more helpful or accommodating.

I have been thoroughly impressed by the staff at Westmont. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming. The care staff are very attentive, the food is delicious, and facility is beautiful! I could not be happier with our experience at Westmont of Fresno.

We like the community size, services offered, friendliness of staff and residents. I also think there is some room for improvement in the food area. There is room for improvement by way of a well defined transition communication plan on care plan It would be helpful to have a meeting with family pre move in ( post assessment), then another 2 weeks after move in and a month after...something of an on- boarding, how its going check in and a look back, now that family member has been here check in. A feedback loop for both family and Westmont because that is the space improvements happen and expectations are understood or clarified. I want to add that it is a very welcoming environment to new residents and their families. It gives the piece of mind needed. Change is difficult but made easier with a warm welcome and support for daily life needs.

I would say that it has been a surprisingly easy transition for our Mom. Therefore; our family is extremely grateful To Westmont and their wonderful staff. We picked this community, because of the convenience, and once we toured the facility, our minds were made it's less than 2 miles away from my brother's new home that he built .

My family and loved one have had a wonderful experience with Westmont of Cypress. Everyone here are friendly. The community building is new. There are activities and meals provided to assist with socialization of the residents. Overall we would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

It's an amazing place! Mom is so much more active than when living by herself!! She is now closer to my sister but can retain her independence. She loves the activities; whether it's listening to a concert or movie night. They have an app called "LifeLoop" where family members can view all the activities that she attended that week as well as pictures! Being in the dining room for all 3 meals is also a great way for her to meet new people; I must say the food is good, and there are lots of choices. Yes, I have eaten there!! Staff responds to inquiries in a timely manner; this is very helpful as I don't live in town, and my sister works so can't always answer my questions.
