Wesley Enhanced Living

We've been very pleased. It's a great facility and a wonderful community. And we feel very good about having our loved one there.

Is an open light welcoming community with very good array of wrap around services. I would just recommend that the residents read the residents handbook as their is a lot of information to absorb and take in, they do an orientation but their is a lot of information in the book that is needed.

Our adult sons (both of whom live out of state), my husband, and I were fortunate that we were "matched" via [removed] with Wesley Enhanced Living at Stapeley. The level of care that my husband needed made it no longer financially sustainable for us to remain in our previous home; the Director of Marketing and Sales at WEL at Stapeley was able to provide sufficient incentives and discounts for us that a move here became doable. He worked tirelessly ensuring that there would be as few stresses as possible in our two-part transition, first my husband to Personal Care (the assisted living wing of the community), then me to an Independent Living apartment 8 days later. Once we were moved in, he demonstrated concern beyond his job description - everything from finding me a shower curtain on the first day (It had not been on our radar screen to bring one since the shower in our former residence had sliding doors.) to troubleshooting setting up the voicemail on my new phone.

Generally it's good. My apartment is comfortable. The services are good, and the staff is good. They serve dinner only, and it would be nice if they provided breakfast and lunch as well. Also, the activities don't really interest me. They have mainly card games and bingo.

There are really good activities here even though at times our loved one does not take advantage. There are different dining rooms here, and there is one dining room that is supposed to serve very delicious food, and something similar to a 5 course meal. However our loved one always decides to go to the other dining room where the meals are just okay. If they just went to the other dining room we are sure the meals would be much better.

We chose Wesley Enhanced Living because it was referred to dad by some of his former classmates who had good experiences here. It is a light and airy atmosphere, everyone seems very happy and upbeat. They have different levels of care, independent and assisted living. His apartment size is perfect for him and what he needs. The facility does accept medicaid as well. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The community was clean and neat and they did a good job taking care of my loved one.

We chose Wesley Enhanced Living because of the value of the money as well as the convenient location. The staff were so friendly on the tour and that has carried through to this day. The apartment sizes are very good. I think they really pay close attention to the residents and their needs. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Wesley Enhanced Living because my sister really liked the director, he gave us a lot of good information and really explained the process thoroughly. I have only been in the facility a couple of times myself but the administrative have been very good with keeping in contact with my sister and were very accommodating through the process of getting her in here.

Great place for my parents

I would tell others to definitely take a tour. I was looking forward to my loved one living here. Everyone was very friendly, including anyone we saw in the community. Patrick and his team made things so easy to bring my loved one into assisted living.

The community answers any questions via email very quickly. They are also quick to address any issue that there may be in person. The staff is friendly and very nice. I would recommend this community to others.

Our experience is en-light of covid - We think they are doing a terrific job keeping the community clean. They renovated the mean lobby and a few other small areas and it really has made a difference. It feels almost hotel like and it is fabulous. The meals at first when our loved one moved in were fabulous, but once they had to lock down the meals were awful. However, they are allowed to eat in the dining room again and the meals are getting much better. They are doing minimal activities which we are very thankful for. They are taking the residents on bus rides, and for the holidays they are giving them little gift bags.

We do a weekly zoom call with our loved one and the staff members that helps her set that up is wonderful. As far as we can tell since we aren't able to go in and see our loved one, she seems to be receiving okay care. We did have a little issue when it came to communication. She is on a number of medication and they do a care conference every 50 days, and we asked for an explanation of all the medication she was on. It took us awhile for them to finally send back a list explaining everything but that has now been resolved. We also have noticed that when our loved one falls whether it is minor or major they call us right away every single time. They also send out weekly emails to the families regarding all updates with covid whether that covers outbreaks in the community, if it was a resident or staff members. They also are keeping us informed with the first round of vaccine schedules.

I have been working with Wesley Enhanced Living Upper Moreland for the placement of my parents. The staff has been phenomenal in assisting in the decision making process as well as providing guidance. I would recommend this facility to anyone interested in placing someone in an excellent environment

My mother had Alzheimer's and spent her final years at Stapeley. In her time there, the nursing staff treated her with love and respect. Whenever I visited, my mom would be with the nurses and would be at ease and happy. They would give me updates about how mom was doing that day - good mood, bad mood, feisty, a little sad - they kept a good eye on her and I could tell. It meant and means a lot to me that they opened up their hearts to my mother.

The facility is in the middle of extensive renovations so it was a bit awkward walking around, but we were impressed with what we saw and with what was planned for the upgrades. [Name removed] presented a helpful and informative tour and we did not feel pressured except for the time frame to take advantage of discounted entrance fees due to the reconstruction. Wesley was conveniently located for our family and in a pleasant setting. This is at the top of our options right now.

Nice place, well presented. Apartments on the small side. Not a lot of amenities but that is a plus as far as I am concerned. Don't want to pay for a lot of things that I will never use. Not comfortable with purchasing a cottage and having your equity vanish after 4+ years. Staff was informative and helpful. A good initial experience.

Wesley Enhanced is a large facility, and that may be its main drawback. They seem to have nice rooms, good dining options, although the assisted living dining room seemed a bit isolated from the rest. Also, the assisted living floors, while similar to independent, are not mixed among them. May show this to mom, but she might find the size a bit overwhelming.
