Watermark Retirement Communities

The tour was wonderful and the staff was so courteous and very well knowledgeable and answered all questions to my satisfaction. The grounds and buildings are keep in immaculate shape. At the end of the tour, I was quite excited about the whole experience and ready to put in my application.

The memory care team, lead by [Name Removed], at the Almaden Watermark are amazing. [Nsme removed] and her staff were compassionate and engaged with my mom and all of the residents, as well as with family members. They worked with me every step of the way to help me with my mom and her needs. I’m forever grateful to[Name removed] and her team.

Overall great, plus the food is good, the room is clean - including the bathroom. The staff is great very understanding.

The facility is wonderful. They keep the place very clean and operational. They have 3 restaurants. One is for regular meals and snacks which are included in the monthly price. The other 2 are open restaurants where you order food at costs. The food is high quality and tastes good. They have regular movie nights in their theater, they hold varied types of regular exercise sessions for all types of residents, they also have scheduled outings to restaurants, museums, shopping, etc. They have painting and art classes. They also have regular Sunday services and weekly bible studies for residents. Another feature is celebrating major holidays with skits, music, and food. The rooms are also very nice with sinks, full size refrigerators, and microwaves. I love the nursing, laundry, and housekeeping services as well. I'm very thankful to have found Sky Bridge!

[name removed] is amazing! She's very passionate about her job & the facility. The rest of the staff are great too. The apartment sizes are great! I only saw two, one with a small kitchen and one without. Honestly could not ask for a better apartment.

The staff has been great. My dad just fought it at first because he didn't want to be in assisted living. He's adjusting better now. The facility is very clean, and the common areas are bright and cheery. The dining room staff is friendly, and the nursing staff are efficient and timely. Overall, we've had a positive experience.

Our tour of Sonrisa was wonderful. We saw all the important features of this community at a pace where we could ask questions and get a feel for the setting and residents. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the property was clean and bright.

My mom lived at the fountains for 2 1/2 years until she recently passed away at 100 years old. Her time at the Fountains was an absolute delight for her as the accommodations were beautiful, the staff was professional, attentive and loving, and the community that she built, despite her trepidations about engaging with new people at this point in her life was wonderful and embracing. During this period, my mom had a health issue which required hospitalization and a short time in a rehabilitation facility. The Fountains staff helped us through this process, engaging with both hospital and rehabilitation facility staff, and never let my mom for a moment feel that she was on her own. When we were searching for a community for our mom, neighbors told us about the fountains and said that it was the best facility in the area. I was a bit skeptical about such assertions but now, after 2 1/2 years, I affirm that indeed the Fountains is the best!

Beautiful. We are interested and will follow up. Sales person was warm and welcoming. We look forward to learning more.

I would rate the whole list as a 5. I viewed 5 different facilities and WaterMark was easily the standout. It is also the most convenient to my home. The staff is exceptional, the price is very comparable to other facilities, the activities and food are varied and plentiful. I am very pleased with the experience.

The culinary program is excellent. It has won awards. The staff are very friendly. The facility is modern and well kept.

Everything deserves 5 stars! The staff has been fantastic, caring, and attentive from the very beginning. We chose them because they came highly recommended by A Place for Mom, and they have absolutely lived up to that recommendation. We’re very happy with our decision and would highly recommend them.

Wonderful helpful attendents. Pleasant surroundings that are clean. At breakfast we always are greeted by Charmaine Anderson. She is the fun person who helps with games and music.

The Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She really cared about our personal situation and asked questions to make sure she understood what we were looking for. The place was very clean. Everyone we met while touring (other workers and residents) was pleasant and very happy. The rooms were a good size. The meals seemed to be varied and offer something enticing at each meal. The grounds themselves and the common areas within the building were kept tidy and neat. I think my mom would be very happy there.

I love living at the Fountains. Both the people that live there as well as the people that work there are wonderful and very friendly. They have lots of activities and fun things to do. There's outings to various restaurants and events, there's several games and activities within the residence. For example, they have bingo several times a week, there's various games, such as Uno, beanbag baseball, Wi-Fi games, karaoke, General music, movies, crafts, and much more. There's various services as far as cleaning your linens, and your general laundry and light housekeeping. The people are so friendly and if you're new, everybody tries to make you feel welcome. Even if you don't have someone to eat with, there's always someone that welcomes you at their table during meal time. I love it here. I only wish I'd moved here sooner.

The staff is very good. The physical plant is new and beautifully designed, well appointed with large windows to let in the light. Food is good with always 2 choices. Staff knows each resident & their needs and accommodates them. I visit my spouse almost daily and find her nicely dressed and her room made up and clean. They have numerous activities from live music to guest lectures and group exercises.

It's been less than a year since I became a resident of Legacy CB. In that time I have learned that friendliness and outgoing personalities of residents and staff are the norm and not a fleeting occurrence. The number and variety of activities astounds me. There doesn't appear an interest, no matter how rare, that doesn't have a group waiting for your participation. The dining room and meal selections continue to delight. There is something for everyone's tastebuds. In general, Legacy CB looks and feels like a cruise ship. It even has regular "ports of call;" e. g. Shopping destinations, restaurants, casinos, and arts/culture. Whether you're an extrovert or introvert, Legacy is designed for you and your pet. Yes, pets because they are a very important part of your life and well being.

The Watermark at Almaden has been a great facility for my dad. He’s been there about a year and a half and really likes it. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The food is consistently good, as I have joined him for lunches and dinners many times. His biggest complaint is the sometimes long wait times for an aide to return to the dining room to escort him back to his room once he has finished his meal. This short staffing issue may not be unique to WM, however.
