These folks really have a great facility and good a plan for responsive care. My top contender!

I just wanted to let you and your staff know that I'm so pleased with the way everyone has been with my Mother [name removed her first week at Waltonwood. All of the staff have been so friendly and helpful. Yesterday was her 84th Birthday. Yesterday the staff came with balloons and a Birthday sign and sang to her it made her day. It's the little touches like this along with the welcoming basket and beautiful blanket that was there for her on her first day of moving into Waltonwood that make everything so special here. Thank you and your staff for a great experience. Looking forward to our continuing care at your community.

Our tour went extremely well. They have a special for July that we cannot ignore. I have scheduled another visit, with mom with me, for [date removed]. This location is perfect. The atmosphere was very pleasing. I believe we can make the accommodations work. All I need is her approval. I did take the tour checklist with me, thank you, as it was very helpful.

I visited community and it was a great experience. Apartments are renovated, activities happening and residents looked happy. My tour with [name removed] was top notch, she is fantastic! Spent time with us and did not rush us. I appreciated that. There is a lot to offer and location is fantastic. Even though this is an older building and not one of the new builds, it is kept up nicely and very home like atmosphere. Reputation is very good and I have friends that live there. I rather that over a place I never heard of to be honest. I give 5 star because my experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend this facility.

Excellent care and wonderful caring staff. My mom a resident for 3 months and loves it! Her needs are many and she receives the best care from the entire staff. Great food, lots of activities and the other residents are friendly and helpful. Looked at several assisted living homes before choosing Waltonwood. The base rate is comparable to others...the extra care depends on the level of care needed by resident. You will not find a finer assisted living place in the area!

We had a very good experience overall with Waltonwood. My loved one lived here for quite a while before she ended up needing to move due to increasing care needs. It's a nice looking place, the people are friendly, and I'd say they are a great option for anyone looking into independent living!

My grandmother lives at Waltonwood at Lakeside. She is 96 years old and the staff do a great job with her care . The show their compassion day after day with their patience and are very dependable. They all are very friendly and everyone that works there looks happy. They respond quickly to your needs and the activities department is fantastic. The managers show their love for seniors every day. There is always something great to eat. My grandmother loves the soup and desserts. You won't regret moving here.

When my Mom was diagnosed with dementia it was my goal to keep her happy and comfortable. I am happy to say that over the past seven years and especially the last fourteen months I was able to reach my goal of keeping Mom happy and comfortable. A big part of that is having her at Waltonwood. Thanks to a beautiful environment and to a warm and caring staff Mom is always happy and cheerful. It is such a wonderful thing to have help with Mom’s “activities of daily living” so that I can spend quality time with her without feeling overwhelmed with having to care for her and a family of my own. It gives me great peace of mind to know that she is well cared for in a loving and supportive environment. I don’t even have words to express my appreciation to all the wonderful people who work at Waltonwood. I appreciate all that has to happen to make Waltonwood the “home” that it is for my Mom and all the other residents. I don’t know what the next days, weeks or years will bring as we continue our journey but I do rest assured that my Mom is in the best place she can be and I want to thank every single person who works at Waltonwood for being a part of our journey.

Lets start with the atmosphere, when you walk in you just feel like you are in a very serene place. Everybody looks so happy. The activities director is great and keeps everyone busy. We love to play cards! Its just wonderful and I absolutely love it here!

Visited the facility and was very impressed. Renee was very helpful and gave me the information I needed which I am sending to my Aunt today. It is clean and fresh and bright inside which is very appealing, and everything is wide open for her to maneuver around. Hopefully we can get her placement set up very soon. Thank you.

I liked this Waltonwood best. Open, bright, cheery and very friendly. Leasilng agent knowledgable, had many questions about my dad and his needs. Very large individual apartments. We will be going back for a visit with him.

Waltonwood is a really nice community. They had a lot to offer and really seemed like it was the place we would like to move our loved ones into. They provide the residents name tags so it makes it easy to identify them. They have a lot of activities and a pool on the community. It is a little more expensive then surrounding communities but it is really worth the money. Would really like to move loved one in here but they do not want to move to NC.

They're really good there. We walked in the very first day and they knew who we were, they knew who my father was and I had never met this girl before. It's expenisve but any place is expensive. We looked into having somebody come in the house and that was going to be three times as much. They seem to have a lot of activities. They have a white board and everyday there is something different. They just did a Christmas in July thing. They seem to be really interested in the patient. They're not just warehousing them, if you will.

My mom will be moving there soon. It sounds like they have a lot of care and a pretty full schedule of activities. They have outings like to the grocery store and restaurants. They have chair yoga, poker, and bingo from what I've seen. I just found them to be very, very, very nice.

Although my folks haven't been at this community for very long, first impressions from the entire family are that we picked the right place. Management has been so helpful, responsive and flexible with our needs. They are doing everything possible to make this transition smooth and easy. My folks love their apartment, love the food, and love all the attention they're getting. Many thanks to everyone at this community, including the current residents who also work hard at making my folks feel comfortable.

We chose Waltonwood because of how clean the community is and how friendly the staff is. They are just fantastic. The community is exceptionally clean and everyone that we talked to was just so friendly. They try and keep the residents as active as they can. The do not try to medicate heavily to not deal with the residents but rather only medicate them when they need it and with minimal medications. The community is just beautiful and we are very pleased with our choice. We would recommend it to anyone looking for their loved one.

This is the luxury assisted living! Everything pales next to this.

WaltonWood is fantastic. It is a dream place. I hope we can afford living there.

Took Dad to visit and he likes it. It's the closest place to where I live. But it quite pricy. If insurance covers him we could probably manage it. His evaluation is next week.
