There has been a change in chefs and this has caused some inconsistencies in the food from my understanding. There is a full calendar of activities for the residents to participate in, if they choose to. I would encourage you to visit and visit with the residents to see if this would be a good fit for your loved one.

We chose The Phoenix because they were the first ones who responded and they were also in a convenient location. We did not really get clear expectations on what to expect, so I think they could do a better job with the whole orientation process. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

I would recommend the community if your loved one was more independent. The community isn't able to provide a lot of options for low sodium diets or other dietary restrictions. There are several things that have fallen through the cracks.

A good place to live

While our loved one was there the staff members were very friendly. The activities were still pretty limited but they did have things like bingo and brain exercises. We do think the value for cost is right on par with the other communities we looked at.

The community is very genuine in how they care for the residents. Sometimes they relay on the family for care of the resident to speak up. They have memory games, art work, and more for activities for the resident.

The community is a little older but still pretty clean, the nursing staff is extremely friendly but the administrative staff are not so friendly. The care services are good, not excellent because we have had a few small issues that could of been a little more preventative. However, the nurses are fully staffing plenty of people on board which made us feel comfortable. Our loved one is not crazy about the food, but they will make exceptions and be accommodating and make her something else to eat. The activities are back on and wide open. During covid the activity directors would come to their rooms and work with them individually, now everyone is able to be together again.

This location is not somewhere you want to put your loved ones AT ALL !!

The assessment process was not thorough. They did not review all of the information on my loved one to make an appropriate determination of a good fit. And the executive director was not approachable and did not respond to my phone calls or emails.

The price is right and you get what you pay for. Communication is pretty good between the staff and the family and they do return calls quickly. I would recommend this community to others if the price is an issue for your family

When we toured this community we did notice a distinct urine smell. The food was not appetizing looks, it just didn't seem good. This community did offer a lot of things but nothing our loved one needed. There seemed to be more CON's than PRO's with this community

When my mother moved to a bigger room, they took too long to transfer some of her services. She likes being there but it seems like some smaller issues end up turning into bigger issues, which might be a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff seems to take care of my mom very well. They normally offer activities like off-community trips and corn hole and such. Sometimes they do seem a little understaffed. Definitely a good value for the care they are offering.

It has been ok. They have had a problem with a few of the community bathrooms. They also had a leak happen and we didn't feel it was properly taken care of. The woman who is in charge of the kitchen is excellent. She is really caring and really tries to meet the residents' needs on a meal by meal basis. They did have care team meetings every three months that allowed us to get a better idea of the care that was being provided.

Facility recently bought and going through major renovations. We were on time but assigned tour person(owner) was not there and no one was in any office. Someone doing an interview in the lobby did ask what we needed and ended up giving us a tour of the facilities when she was done with the interview. Small brochure given that advertised a full kitchen was not correct as all stove/ovens taken out and not allowed anymore.This facility might be good for some people but definitely not us. It was more like a nursing home atmosphere trying to be an upscale residence that would attract independent living people. Parking limited and not close to the front door. No valet service. Over priced 300 sf studio $3500/mnth, 650 sf 2 bedroom $4500 month, no covered parking, dining room assigned tables that looked very institutional in setting and location in building. Even when renovations finished it will not attract independent people at that price. Others offer much more for same price.

Clean and pleasant, but not as cozy as others I've toured. Memory Care opportunities offered were good, just couldn't get past the "nursing home" look.

The place is very nice, however very expensive. The prices are ala carte in addition to the $2800 rent. The folks that showed us around also just didn’t fit our personalities. I felt they were stuffy. They also werent accommodating with anything we asked. Everything had a fee.

The price is great. Friendly staff. The outdoor area was small. If you are looking for a small group home, this will suit your needs well.

Friendly staff and nice facility, but consistently poor food service and poor laundry service.

I am looking for a dedicated assisted living bed and the level of care at this facility is not what I wanted. The appointment was set up for me by the web site. When I did call to cancel the receptionist was polite but at 2 pm in the afternoon on a Tuesday was unable to locate anyone that help help me. So they seemed disorganized in this particular area. But I did not actually tour.

Nice, homey, didn't get a welcoming feel from the staff, however.
