I never wanted to place Mom but she needed more assistance than I could give after 11 years. Park Terrace treated Mom like family. Always knew her name, making the conversations personal. They were very attentive to her needs and in a way, to my needs as well. The caring and friendliness of the staff was second to none. For me, placing Mom was never an option but when it came time that it had to be, I don't think there is another place that care for their residents like Park Terrace. It's a very homey environment. I was extremely happy for Mom to have been there. No regrets.

Viva of Albany has an attractive and inviting outside. The staff as you enter are friendly with a sense of warmth and welcome. The facility itself is beautifully maintained, and clean with inviting decorations. My husband is in the Memory Care Community. The Memory Care staff is friendly and compassionate in caring for him. The food is delicious and nutritious meals with snacks provided served in a pleasant dining area. The staff as has provided the family with information for help in obtaining additional services as needed. A variety of engaging group and individual activities are provided. He loves the dog visits. The positive impact on this community has enabled my husband to thrived. I recommend Viva, especially for persons in needed of Memory Care senior living

Mom was happy there. There are always some problems but nothing we couldn't work out. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Facility staff has been very helpful and supportive. There are 1-2 nursing staff that are exceptional.

Its a stressful time for patient and family. They will get a snapshot of a day "in the life of...."Let them hear from you about your facility's good points, and do what you do best. Be honest and patient.

What we really like about Park Terrace is the competence and kindness of all the staff. Yes, based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to other families.

5 for all categories...we really love Mom being there and Mom loves it as well and is absolutely thriving!! We would absolutely recommend this community to others!! They have a wonderful activities program & coordinator, the aides & nursing staff are very attentive and kind, the meals are delicious, plus they have a designated smoking area and a lovely outside area with very friendly squirrels that beg for peanuts!!

Staff has been helpful and has made my grandma comfortable. The different sides (wings) they had 1 side that is geared more toward people with dementia that are further gone, which i felt was important for my grandma, who was mentally more there than not. She had memory problems, but when she was mentally there more than some others. Unfortunately, she was placed in the wrong wing though

I am a new resident at Viva Senior Living in Oak Ridge and they are already treating me like family. The caregivers actually care about us and are only a few steps away at a times. The building is really clean and has a lot of new upgrades. The food is really good and they are always asking the residents what we like or don't like. I love living at Viva!

When I went to see Viva Senior Living at Oak Ridge, I was pretty impressed by the building, the people, and the activities they offered. The staff was very nice. They're lovely, lovely people. The common areas were very spacious, clean, and very nice. The staff members were wonderful. I didn't get to see any of the rooms. However, the facilities are lovely. Physically, it's beautiful, it's clean, and it's modern. They seem to have everything they need, like entertainment and activities. There was some kind of a buffet thing going on. It was an open house for visitors, and the food was good. It was not exceptional, but it was adequate and nicely prepared.

My mother-in-law moved to Viva Senior Living at Oak Ridge. It's very well kept and everybody is very polite. They will work with you on certain things and they do evaluations. If you're not sure what your loved one's certain care level is or if they need more care, they ask you questions. They will evaluate them themselves. They also have an on-call doctor that comes in monthly and sees the people that they need to see. The price is very, very respectful. It's a nice atmosphere. They have two meals a day for every meal sitting. That's two breakfasts, two lunches, two suppers at two different times, which gives the residents more independence to take what time they decide they want to eat. They have a hair salon there, too, so somebody can do their hair. This place is up to date and just phenomenal. I don't see any problems with any of the furniture, the walls, and flooring. My husband and my son have eaten there and they love the food. My mother-in-law does crafts pretty much daily.

My father moved to Viva Memory Care at Dresher back in November. We were very uncomfortable about having him move into a community, however, shortly after the move, we realized we should have moved him in months ago. The staff at Viva welcomed the whole family and made the move much easier than we anticipated! They have been great with him from day one!! We toured many communities and really had a difficult time choosing where to take him. We all agree now that we made the right decision in finding the perfect place with GREAT care as his new home. Keep up the great care for all of your residents!!!! I highly recommend to everyone!

Thank you for all your assistance with my father this is the culmination of 2 years of planning to move my father back to his homeland in Australia and we could not have done any of this without you.  My father was well cared for during the 3 1/2 years he lived at Viva Memory Care (formerly Woodland Creek). We toured several memory care facilities for our loved one. Viva just felt right, the staff is great, friendly, caring, and so kind. Any issues we’ve had have been handled promptly and positively. It’s the right place for our loved one. So grateful to have found Viva Memory Care at Dresher!

We had approximately two weeks to find a place for my sister in law(note during the hardest part of year- Christmas and New Years)! We contacted a place for mom and explained our situation. An appointment was made the next day to visit Seneca Terrace. What we observed during our visit made our decision easy. Residents were friendly and seemed happy. Staff were very thorough and took an active interest in my sister in law’s wishes. We moved her in quickly- I made the comment on how accommodating everyone was. We are in our second month now and feel such a relief that my sister in law is happy and safe there. We must recognize [name removed] who deserves five stars for being so caring and does so much more than his job description. Also A Place for Mom is a godsend! They listened to our needs and made a perfect match.

My mom has stayed there for respite day care and overnight stay. It seems like a nice place. I love that each room has its own bathroom. I’m looking for places for my mom ,but the cost per month is out of my budget. We Can’t afford it. [name removed] is very helpful, nice and understanding. I will continue to use respite care.

Beautiful facility, fabulous staff, excellent communication, varied menu with restaurant style dining. They quickly deal with any issues. They have regular meetings with family. They are flexible about changes. They also have on site physical therapy, nurse practioner, psychiatrist and dentist. Multiple activities, a library, a movie room, transportation and family events

Viva Senior Living is more expensive than many places that we looked at but the patient's comfort and care were the primary concern of everyone there.

They need better communication. Since new ownership the only communication is the invoice. They are average and good for the price.
