Atria Stony Brook is a very welcoming community. During my tour, I was able to speak at length about my parent's needs and backgrounds and their very different needs at this point in their lives. The facility would be able to meet the needs of both parents - one parent requiring memory care, the other parent still relatively independent. The activities, dining options and other amenities would make this an excellent option for both of my parents. The facility itself was very clean, organized, residents appeared happy and engaged, staff was courteous and caring. My tour was a very pleasant experience.

Very caring and loving environment. All of the staff is extremely gentle and professional. The administrative staff went above and beyond to assist us with this move and transition. They even recommending movers that turned out to be the vest best I've ever experienced. We had only two days to make a move from rehab to Apple Tree and they could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Having had prior experience with my Dad and I wanted better for my Mother and found it at Apple Tree.

New facility, less than 2 years old. Well appointed rooms and very friendly and welcoming residents. Not an independent living facility but comes close to what we are looking for.

Appletree Court is exactly what I had hoped it to be – a great place for my parents. We first moved my mother and father into a senior living apartment complex, which was wonderful, but without a food plan or organized activities, my mother was lonely. Two years later, when we moved them into Appletree Court, my father’s health was quickly declining. I really wish we would have moved them into Appletree Court earlier, where my father could have enjoyed his time there and the staff and residents could have enjoyed him also. The staff at Appletree Court has been absolutely wonderful both before and after my father passed. They take great care of my mother and she loves the activities, especially bingo! My mother is currently in a 2-bedroom unit which she loves, but will be moving to a smaller unit now that my father has passed. The facilities are very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They encourage my mother to take part in activities and learned her name as well as ours very quickly. The activities are great, every afternoon there is something going on, bingo, musicians and chair exercises among others. There is nothing to say negative about this place! If you are looking for a great, clean, friendly place for you parent(s), this is the place!

My husband and I were first introduced to Appletree Court as volunteers 13 years ago. Because of its efficient operation and caring staff, it was the place we turned to help us with my husband's Mother. She has thrived with all the personal attention, beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and fun activities/entertainment. We are so appreciative of the excellent care and service we have all received.

My mother has been a resident for over 3 months and our family couldn't be happier. The staff is incredible, the rooms are very nice and mom has really enjoyed the food. There is a wide variety of excellent activities which keeps her very busy. We checked out a dozen facilities before choosing Appletree Court and they far out shine the others. Because she is eating regularly, having her medications regulated and socializing daily, she has gone back to her joyful, friendly, peaceful self. The staff is genuinely happy and truly cares as is evident with their numerous long-term employees. Our family couldn't be happier.

Brickmont cannot accommodate spoon feeding my parents. According to Brickmont, the state of GA does requires the resident to be able to feed themselves and ambulate upon entrance. Due to the age in place rule, if a person physically declines and can no longer ambulate or feed themselves, the facility must accommodate there changing needs.

Brickmont has been a fantastic place for my mother, she seems truly happy and engaged. The staff has been incredibly welcoming and helpful towards me and her. Overall I have been extremely satisfied with my experience!

Truly a wonderful place, from the people to the facilities. They have taken such good care of my mother, I couldn't be happier!!

I am happy to call Appletree Court my new home! That was a concern of mine as I considered options after selling my home of 50 years! The decision was made with very positive supporting evidence of a responsive staff; a well maintained facility; quality food service; a outstanding and dedicated management team; an array of activities from which to choose! Calling Appletree Court "home" was made easier as my apartment decor reflected my personality! I am in my new home and pleased with my choice! Although I have been here for only four months I have been actively involved in activities including Bridge, bingo, transportation to doctors appointments, social events and entertainment. Both caregivers and management team have been responsive to my requests. Each day reinforces my decision to make Appletree Court my new home.

I did the tour and this place is beautiful!! It's well above our price range but if money wasn't a factor I would love for my grandparents to stay here.

We were very pleased with our tour, the staff could not have been more informative and helpful. They took their time giving us their undivided attention. [Removed] was most helpful with the information regarding my father's VA Benefits.

Preferred facility. We went back the following day unannounced and were greeted warmly. Really like the people and the residents we met. We can see Dad thriving in this facility.

My mom first entered Atria on the independent side in a beautiful apartment that she enjoyed for a few months after my dad passed and she chose not to live alone. We soon realized that moving to the Life Guidance side because of her beginning Alzheimer's was going to be a more suitable placement. She has been there for three months now and I am so delighted to say that she has adjusted wonderfully. Because of the outstanding care and attention she is given she is no longer fearful and feeling alone even though with the push of a button on her wrist she could have had the attention she was requesting. Life guidance gives herthe chance to have constant supervision and a program which keeps her physically and mentally stimulated on a daily basis. I want to add also that all my minor concerns were met with immediate attention and I have always felt comfortable to address anything with anyone involved. So thankful that we decided to make this move as it's a wonderful feeling when you know your loved one is being cared for at a level above what you were expecting. Thank you to ALL involved to make this program what it is!

I visited several assisted living facilities before selecting Aspen Village for my mother. Some cost less and some more. However, from the time I enter Aspen Village I could see the difference. The staff is super friendly and attentive to residents. You can find fancier places but in my experience you won't find better care. I find it to be very clean and the food is excellent, I have eaten there. My mother has had to transfer to memory care and Aspen took care of everything to move her from assisted living to memory care, I didn't have to do anything. I feel she is receiving excellent care. I have dropped in at many different times and have always found professional and friendly staff every time. If I were to need assisted living I could move there.

Everything was very nice but they did not have licensing to aid with father in law’s oxygen.
