Tinley Court is a very special place with a caring staff and a nice living environment. The residents are generally nice as well. Kathy is the new administrator who took over in August. She has made a tremendous difference. She is kind, gentle, and very competent. She addresses the resident's issues -- physical plant and living issues as quickly as she can. She demonstrates love. The second in command is Cindi who is also of very high caliber. She is ostensibly the marketing director but she wears many hates and is very pleased to roll up her sleeves and attack any problem with fortitude. Among the senior staff is CID the activities director. She is just excellent all around and extremely intelligent and creative. I think she does just a wonderful job. I could list many other staff since so many deserve a pat on the back but there is just not enough space to include everyone. In closing I think Tinley Court is just top notch given its modest price structure.

Thanks to the staff for making my Dad's move smooth and cheery. My sister and I greatly appreciate all your assistance. I know he will be safe and nourished and can participate in various activities that we are unable to provide. He is a wonderful man and is an excellent father and my sister takes wonderful care of him. It was great meeting you and your director; your facility is top-notch.

The love and care the staff showed our mom is appreciated more than words can express.

I really like it. It's been really nice. The pricing was much better, than where we were. They had one of those sit in tub/spas, and she really likes that. She has farm field out her back window, that is perfect for her. I'm very pleased with it.

The employees are not only friendly and courteous but they are very kind. The employees seem to truly care about the residence.

Clean facility, Loving staff and overall beautiful place, I moved my mother hear few weeks ago and i was very impressed.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking community, and the staff we spoke to all seemed very friendly! It was on the larger side, which may have presented some difficulties for our loved one to navigate. It was also on the expensive side.

I would just like to let you know what a great move Tinley Court made when they hired on the new Director over there... the place has done a complete turn around in appearance - pictures up on walls, the place smells WONDERFUL... the residents are cheery, smiling and love living here!!! The change in staff was needed a long time ago, as what a breath of fresh air Debra, the new gal in charge is. as she takes such care with everyone, going table to table visiting all the residents, making sure they are doing okay and asking about them, And Cindy, always having a kind word to say to make everyone feel so special... Then there's all the new activities that we started seeing since last November once Debra came on board, especially down the other wing and all those folks participating at our end too !!! And finally... things are finally being fixed around the place on a regular basis !!! Kudos to Tinley Court and all that you do for all of us that live here... we LOVE everything and don't want you to change a thing!!!

Ellen’s home is so warm caring and loving to their patients that I don’t even to worry about anything. My loved one just stayed in her bed, but now she’s up and active all the time. The food is awesome - it’s like restaurant quality food.

Overall we've had a great experience with Bethany Retirement! It's a smaller community and it has a really tight knit community feel. Everyone is very friendly and they all look out for one another! The staff are fantastic and genuinely seem to care about the residents. They're very responsive to any issues or concerns that residents or families bring to them. They do seem a bit short staffed at times, and we've had some issues with tasks and requests not get passed along between day and evening staff shifts, but they are obviously doing their best. Another thing I'd like to see them improve is making their two beautiful garden areas more accessible to those in wheelchairs (it can be a little difficult to get over the lip of the door) We would highly recommend them, they do a great job here and my loved one really seems to love it!

It's like a poor persons', upscale assisted living. It's very nice and they are doing a good job. We are pretty happy with it. I give them a high score.

The price is a little high, sometimes the washers and dryers can break down, that is a really big inconvenience. The doors are so heavy they are difficult to open, it needs to be more handicap friendly. They offer meals, but the food isn't that good. I liked that it was very clean, and it had a nice view and I liked the people.

We don't have any complaints at all, and I am a very strict critic. They are very empathetic, and communicate well with the family. They offer a wide variety of activities, and they are very friendly. Mr. Cole was very, very upbeat, and inviting, and extremely informed. He was able to answer all of my questions. I liked that it was very clean, and smelled, not chemical clean, but clean.

Everything here has been great so far! When we were searching, we found that this would be the best situation for my loved one, and we are still very happy! The price is fair, and you get your money's worth, so the value is good too!

I recently visited a friend who just raves about Tinley Court and all the welcoming changes that started taking place since the end of last year...!!! From the new pictures on the walls and things finally being fixed to the updated food on the menu and even to all the new staff that have come on board. What a great move on the part of management... Kudos to you! He just can't believe how things are finally looking up in the place he calls his home ! He just loves the cheery atmosphere, from the administrator bringing in her dog (really makes him feel at home again) to how activities are happening all over the facility (Poker in the Reception Lounge, sing-a-longs in the Fireside Lounge) and even being invited down to the Carefree Suites to watch movies and participate in activities with some of his friends that have moved down there ! Thank you Tinley Court... Mr. Lerner, Deb Scinto, Cindy, Cid, Joe, Ruth and Sharon for making my friend so happy again... He just loves everything you are doing there... Keep it up !

They say you can't always believe what you read... and boy am I glad I checked it out for myself ! We recently toured this facility with my Mother and we were all very impressed to say the least. The Administrator herself showed us around, taking time out of what I can only assume is a very busy schedule. She, like all of the staff I met that day, took such care in finding out things about my Mother, her previous home, some of her likes and dislikes.. and she really helped us all picture Mom living in this beautiful, homey community; especially after seeing the two Model rooms they have set up. We especially liked meeting some of the Residents and being allowed to walk around by ourselves without that hardcore sales pitch. Deb Scinto even offered for Mom to come back to participate in some of the activities and enjoy lunch with some of the ladies to help her make a decision on moving into her new home !
