We toured here, it was in my top two. It is specifically for dementia, and a much smaller, more open environment, than our other top choice. The other place felt a little more familiar to us. This was more of a room, rather than a little apartment.

They are doing some renovations, but they don't let that affect the cleanliness. I find them to be very attentive and responsive. The only complaint about the food is that they don't get any protein with breakfast. I haven't had any problems with them. I liked that they were affordable, and responsive to my initial inquiry. There were places I called that didn't call me back for over a week. The hospital is right on site too, which is a big plus for me as well.

In a wonderful south-west suburb of Chicago, Tinley Park is the home of a vibrant caring retirement facility known as Tinley Court. The staff is universally kind and caring to the apprx. 100 residents, of which I am one -- a recent addition. For the money, Tinley Court must be at the top of the list for residents as far as cleanliness, organization, activities, and decent quality food are concerned. Are there better places then Tinley Court? Well, yes. But I'm quite sure the really posh retirement homes are perhaps double the cost and that is not an exaggeration. There is a new administrator here who is kind and attentive and listens well. Her name is Kathy Heisey and she seems intent on upholding the traditions of Tinley Court which was opened in the 1970's. Another key player is Cindy Stephens, Director of Community Relations. She handles admissions and other issues. She is also very vivacious and caring. I have read other "reviews" of Tinley Court some of which were real downers. Frankly, I see Tinley Court in a very positive light.

It’s a very clean community. She likes the activities that they offer. The food is very good. My loved one has only been there a little while, but so far it’s been pretty good. The staff has been helpful and supportive.

The staff at Tinley Court are all very friendly. It is not a stuffy environment at all. The inside of the facility is immaculate. They seem to be doing a lot of updating indoors. My uncle seems to be enjoying the food. I can't say much about the activities because he hasn't participated too much due to trying to get settled. So far so good!

Liked it. Liked Edgewater Beach more. Even though there's an income sensitive option, my father feels like it's still about $300 a month more than he'd like to pay.

This is a very nice property but it's a little too far from my home.

My mom and Aunt live there. The best part is the staff. They are terrific ! The medical service, Best Care, does great!

Very homey! A nice place that you feel very confident having your parents at this home. The rooms did not really fit our needs although 2 rooms next to each other would probably work. This home is rather expensive, $4000 each person however it does include all of their wants and needs.

Ellen's appears to be a very nice place that has quality staff who care about their residents. Communication is fairly good with family members as to the status of what is going on. Mom has only been there a short time so it's difficult to share experiences at this point in time.

They brought up her meals, and she loves the food. They were prompt with bringing meals. For the first few days they didn't do the services they said like cleaning her room. I had to clean her room for the first week and a half or so. The only thing I think they over-charged me for the clean up and restoration of the room, when she moved out. We chose this because of the services they offered. Anytime she pushed the button they were right there. I really liked the place.

I have had a positive experience with Bethany since placing my Mom here last January. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, there are plenty of activities, many that my Mom participates in. Overall I am very happy as my Mom has improved greatly since living here.

Very nice. Brand new. Seemed a little unorganized. Very family oriented. Uses wanderguard system. limited activities. No physicians that come to facility.

We really liked Autumn Green at Wright Campus

Though the building is old, it appears to be fairly well maintained. The grounds are nicely landscaped. Several of the apartments I was shown look like they'd work for my father, although I have concerns about toilet-accessibility because of his scooter. The staff I met were pleasant to residents (and me). This is definitely worth considering.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour, we just new based on some things we learned it was not going to be the best fit

This community is where my mom lives. It's been revamped so newer accommodations. There just isn't enough staff. They have gotten a lot more residents since mom has come. They are spread thin. The staff is very kind. They come in weekly and clean. The food is good but they often change what is supposed to be served on the menu. They do have other options also. Mom feels safe here. The activities here suffer also from the understaffed. They will go down for crafts what's on the calendar and no staff is there to do the activity. and they are supposed to do exercise daily and it's supposed to be an Hr and they only get 15 min due to understaffing. There is just not enough stimulation and it hopefully will improve.
