Occasionally I can see smudge on the elevator that seems like someone hasn't cleaned. The common areas are usually fairly clean. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the community is on lock down so activities have stopped. The staff is mostly friendly, however, they have been slow to respond to one of my service requests, which was placed several months ago and has yet to be resolved. There are no windows in the kitchen, so that area stays pretty dark. The community is expensive for what you are getting. My apartment has been updated plus has a balcony, which could be one reason my apartment is more expensive than others. When I moved in, I also believed I would be moved into the new building at the community and even toured at the new building, however when I was actually moved in, I was given an apartment at the old building, which I did not like as much. There is also insufficient space in the kitchen for large pots and pans. When we recycle things incorrectly, we get fined for incorrectly disposing recycling. I feel some of the people are educated enough on how to properly throwing things away. I think it would be helpful if more time was spend educating everyone on how to properly recycle. Other than that, the bedrooms and closets in particular are very large and the neighborhood is great and I feel very safe.

My mother and I toured Brookfield, and we found it to be a beautiful well-kept complex that would have allowed my mother to maintain her independence. However, it was quite expensive, so we ultimately did not choose it to call home.

My mother moved into Parkwood Highlands, and overall, it has been a great experience for her and the family. The grounds are well kept and clean, the apartments are also very nice. Some of the appliances are a little outdated, but they are still in great working condition. The staff has also been excellent so far, and they are always happy to help with anything my mother needs. My mother really enjoys how she is able to keep her independence here. She’s able to drive her own car, cook for herself and keep busy with her own activities and errands. Our only small complaints are the location and the trash. The road near the complex can be quite busy; which can make it difficult for my mother to get around. As for the trash, the residents have to take out their own trash in this community. It isn’t far, but getting around may be difficult for some residents. This community and its residents may benefit from a valet trash service. Otherwise, my mother’s experience at Parkwood has been fantastic and we would recommend this complex to others.

We've just recently moved into Parkway Highlands so we are still getting acclimated to our surroundings. The staff in the front lobby is friendly and helpful.We like our apartment it seems to be a good fit for our needs. We had some things that needed to be fixed in the apartment and the maintenance team responded quickly and fixed the issues right away. It's a very clean and well-kept community. It's within a couple of miles from local stores and businesses. We haven't yet participated in the activities that they have here for the residents. I have heard that they have a couple of potlucks a month for the residents to get together and socialize. I have been making new acquaintances in the hallway and getting to know my nearby neighbors. The residents we have met so far seem very friendly.

I like living in this community. Being independent and doing things on my own is important to me. I cook for myself in my own apartment so I know the food is good. The staff and residents seem friendly and helpful when needed. The community is always clean and looks good.

My wife and I are enjoying this community very well. There are activities we are both enjoying. People seem friendly and nice from the residents to the overall staff. We chose to cook in our place so we don't utilize the dining area Everything looks extremely nice and clean from the outside and inside. I would recommend them to anyone.

As I walked around the Parkwood Highlands, I thought it was a very nice place. The community was clean and the tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and I did not see anything that needed major improvement.

Completely independent living. All the privacy you need. A bit pricey.

The community is in a very beautiful area. There is a bridge to where the river is and the community offers nature walks for the residents. the staff is wonderful and very helpful. The community does offer elevators for there 3 story building. The only thing that did not work for me is that the building is older than most.

The community is great and the staff very knowledgeable. The community is always kept clean and neat. The community also offers a library and a movie theater to use. The only thing that I did not like was that the apartments are in a horseshoe. They are all in the same building.

I did tour this place, but not a unit within the building. It is very nice and my daughter said the units were wonderful. We currently are renting at Crystal Lakes in Green Bay, WI

My mom is so happy she chose Parkway Highlands. She is an active 79 year old who has access to walking trails, the Kroc Center for swimming and other activities as well as the friendly faces of other residents who live in her building. She feels at home- and that makes me happy!

This community seemed nice enough. Not nearly as nice as the villages. Seemed to be a little less activity and of course no meals & that is what gets people together. You'd have to make your own meals or go out or order in. Close to the kids and takes pets. Also, said they could accommodate you if you wish to live in their community and pay monthly while waiting for your apt to open up. U would get priority if you were already paying rent in their community. Could also rent a townhouse but the townhouse community is much more isolated. Yet it would be good. I can take the cat

After a tour of the facility I decided to make this my home. It has everything I could ask for and much more. I move in May 1st and am looking forward to living independently and actively on my own again. I'm very excited.

The community is still under contruction but the part that is liveable is very nice and clean. I moved in two weeks ago and chose Highlands at River Crossing for the rent. It's less expensive than any of the other communities. They don't provide and care and so far, no activities.

I toured the Highlands while looking at living options for my father. I thought the community was very nice, but it was a very large apartment complex with everything in one building. I was afraid that the hallways would be too long for my father to walk, so I chose another community for him.

Everything is all in place here at Ridgeview Highlands. The staff are always getting back with us if we have any concerns. The communication with them is really well. I have really been pleased with this facility overall.

In living at the Brookfield Highlands Apts my neighbors and I discussed the extremely poor air quality as the vents have not been cleaned by the owners since the buildings have been built. Some of us paid hundreds of dollars to private companies to clean them, more than once. The system is so old that it is impossible to stop the unhealthy dust mites in air & on furniture and floors. The carpet has not been change over twenty years. Tenants MAY pay the property to have IT'S choice of company to lay inexpensive carpet or laminate wood-like planks at an extremely high cost. A waterheater burst flooding the old carpet. The stench from the nicotine of previous renters and the stains were ignored. I was charged $[removed] to move furniture for replacement of carpet. PASS on moving there.
